First opened an account with SunWest several years ago. I am happy with my local branch, nice people work there. But like many here it is when you have to deal with the corporate side of this bank that your experience takes a turn for the worst. In April they up dated their online banking site. Now it is not possible to see anything on your account more than a few months old. I have a few checks out that had not yet cleared and the only way I can check on them is to call the corporate Number. Also I have experienced transactions occurring in the wrong order Exmp: I transfer money from one account to the other on the 2 of the month, and it immediately shows up on my account dated for the 1st. I may not have had the money in the account the day before I did the transfer! Now so far I don't think it's caused me to overdraft, but now I have to wait an extra day to be sure it wont happen. Now this morning I try to go to my online banking and find I have to agree to their new terms and conditions! They say it's to make my account more secure, and insure I am the only one accessing my on line account, however most to the terms and conditions have nothing to do with account security. According to their new terms and conditions they can refuse to pay for my prescriptions! Literally it reads as if they could refuse to pay for any purchase, at anytime for any reason. Terms like "hate speech" can be used to deny payment. I do not want my bank to be politically correct, I want my bank to be financially savvy. I can not, in good conscience, recommend SunWest and I will be taking my money elsewhere ASAP!

We are unable to contact anyone because all offices are closed on Sunday. Last night, we experienced something no one should ever experience. At 2am we were alerted by our dog that something was wrong. The loud sounds of someone peeling out of our yard. When we entered our front yard, locked and loaded with our firearms, and we found that my husbands car was gone. Immediately we dialed 911 and filed a report of a stolen car. Why else would our vehicle be gone? For the next 2 hours we spoke with officers, filed insurance claims, documented the damage done in the front yard, and did what anyone in that situation would do. Only to find out at 4am, the car was towed by TitleMax. The tow driver hadn't alerted the police department prior to tow, but after the car was long gone (wasting hours of valuable police time). Immediately, we started investigating because this didn't make any sense. See, I made a payment in August 2020. A payment that showed it then was at a ZERO dollar balance on the account. After that, we received emails of "thanks for using TitleMax". I even went down to the DMV, showed the $0 balance and received a new title (that is in the vehicle). We spent money fixing the car, as it was broken down, put new insurance on it, and we're preparing it for an out of state move in 2 weeks unbeknown to us that there was still a balance on the car with TitleMax. We never received a single email stating there was a balance, the last time I opened the app (in October 2020) it showed the $0 balance, we never received a single piece of post office mail from TitleMax showing a balance, nor a phone call (we updated the phone number through the app in June 2020). No communication was EVER given to us that there was an issue on the account and we long deleted the app because we were under the impression the account was paid off. Nothing. Zero. And now, here we sit, on a Sunday, attempting to figure out how to retrieve my husbands car since TitleMax nor the tow yard is open to discuss the issues. This was negligent on the part of TitleMax. Extremely negligent. This caused anxiety and panic to our children, animals, ourselves. Damage to our front yard, and unanswered questions we cannot get answers to because it's Sunday. Not only is it negligent on any other day, but to do so to people during a pandemic is even more inconsiderate. We would like to speak to management, and intend to go into the store tomorrow to do so, so that we can rectify this situation. We are able to bring the balance to a TRUE $0 payoff, but are extremely unhappy with the situation TitleMax has caused. This shouldn't have occurred, and we want the situation solved. I will update the review when the situation is resolved.
