BC Towing did a great job helping us. Our tech was stranded on I-5 in his service van with a broken belt. The tow truck driver came right over to get our tech out of that dangerous situation. He took him to a few different auto part stores and mechanics. Unfortunately, these other businesses were unable to help him. But, it was nice of him to go above and beyond his job. My son had a flat tire yesterday and unfortunately it was too late to get it to a tire shop. He called roadside assistance and they dispatched BC Towing. My sons car is lowered and we were worried about them getting it on the flat bed without scraping it up. Well they sent Jason and he was amazing. He took so much time and care with the car as if it was his own. He was so patient and knew exactly what he was doing and he was very nice on top of it all. This company was such a disappointment. I had a flat tire and went through my roadside assistance plan for help. They contacted BC Towing and informed me that someone would be there to help within 45 minutes (which I didn't mind). I then got a text message about 20 minutes later from the BC Towing employee who was assigned to help me (Daniel) saying that he was on his way. Fast forward almost 1 hour and 20 minutes... Still no one showed up. I called the company and they had no clue what was going on or where their driver even was and told me they would call me back with an update. I got a call from them 10 minutes later that their driver was still at the last location he was assigned and was no longer going to help me (then why send the "on my way" message?? And why not communicate with me about what's going on??) So anyway after 2 HOURS of waiting, I ended up right back at square one and needed to have a different tow company come out to help me. BC Towing is a huge waste of time. I wouldn't recommend their service to anyone! read more

If you're looking to be scammed go here! 20 minutes and charged an extra $20. Extremely unprofessional, would only take cash, had facial piercings, dogs in the building, and awful customer service. Too bad I can't put negative stars because they don't even deserve 1. My car got wrecked because of another driver who had hit me and totaled my car. We originally wanted the car to be towed back to our home but the driver said he wouldn't unless we paid him 400.00 cash so we decided to have it taken to the yard. After it was in the bc yard for a few days we got permission from our insurance to take anything out and off the car we wanted since it was legally still ours. When we got to the yard the guys were helpful and said we could take anything we wanted. While we were taking the wing off some blond bigger woman with glasses comes up to us in a snobby tone and says "um what are you doing?" We said "taking the wing off of my car." She goes "um well did you have permission and does insurance know" we said "yes we have permission from both bc and our insurance." She then walked around my car and started laughing and I said "I don't know what the hell is so funny." She proceeded to say how funny it was that my car got wrecked and that my passanger and i got hurt. I said it's not funny that my passenger and I got hurt. Let's see how funny you think it is when it's your car m, her reply to that is oh my audi is at 200hp. When my husband told her what happened and how the driver hit me she laughed and said oh hahahahaha that subaru thats funny. After that she got right in my face and started yelling " you can't take anything off this car it's in our yard it's at my discretion, I'm going to take it down to Co part and have them part it out." I said if you do that I'll sue you bitch. She then started yelling bye you can leave come to find out she was THE OTHER OWNER OF BC TOWNING!!!. The guys who were standing there said have the insurance call and that we can get the rest of our items since it was our car. When we had the insurance call we went back and they refused to let I'm us in and threatened the police on us. After that we put a hold on the car and I was called about why there was a hold put on the car and I said "because I can and it's my car I can put a hold on it if I want." When the insurance picked up the car bc towing kept the key when they were supposed to give it to my insurance which they didn't. I would not recommend this company unless you want to be screwed over. Next time I will get a better company. I've heard negative things before from a driver who used to work here and from customers. Next time I see so many negative reviews I will definitely be staying away. read more

Really disappointed BC towing charged my 16 year old niece the full $300 for towing her car that had been stolen. She paid for the car herself by doing babysitting and other work and now will have to pay for repairs on the damage done by the thieves. The police were sure BC towing would at least give her a discount. Shame on you BC Towing for not encouraging a hard working, responsible girl when you had the chance!!! read more

I am being forced to leave a star however I would like to put a negative mark in front of it! Recently I got a flat tire which is bad enough in itself. It was raining and I thought this nice gentleman who pulled up in a red BC Towing flatbed truck was going to help me. He stepped out of his truck with a cocky walk introduced himself to be Kevin from BC Towing asked if he could help? When I asked how much he quoted me an outlandish price! When I asked are you serious? He says yes half is for me at this for the boss! I told him no thank you his services would not be needed he sped off in his tow truck and proceeded to run the red light as he left! When I called to complain about Kevin I got the runaround! If this is how you run your business I will not send my friends my family or even my enemies to your establishment! read more

Incredibly infuriated with the lack of professionalism and common courtesy my mother received from B.C. Towing today. The employee that arrived to help her retrieve her locked keys in her car claimed she had an attitude and left her stranded in the pouring rain... When she called the company back they told her it was their policy to not help hostile customers and they back up their employees' decisions on that. I'm literally still in shock over it. Anyone who knows my mom knows she is far from hostile. She is a successful business woman who was dressed in her best and on her way to volunteer for the Salvation Army. (Which, might I add, she still went to, and with a radiant smile to boot, DESPITE being left in wind and rain for over 2 hours because of this shocking situation). Any company that would leave a lady in distress receives zero votes from me. Will do my due diligence to spread the word about this disappointing excuse for a company. read more

My vehicle broke down on the side of the freeway and I needed a tow to a mechanic. When the driver finally arrived, he was very friendly and professional. However, I was told by their dispatcher that he would arrive in 1 hour, and it actually took him 2 hours (approximately 8 miles north of their location on I5). If I knew it would take this long, I would have chosen another towing company, or even had an opportunity to walk somewhere for a bite to eat (we were in the middle of a long road trip). Instead, we had to sit in the car on the side of the highway for 2 hours and wonder if we were still getting picked up. I called 45 minutes after the ETA to see if the driver was still coming, and the dispatcher said the diver had to use the facilities, had just left, and "would be there in a few minutes". The truck arrived 20 minutes later. I ended up arriving at the mechanic too late for them to look at my car. read more

On a road trip up to see the kids and simply enjoy Oregon, when I had a flat. And my precious little car has to go on a special flat bed AND both hubby and I needed a lift to the dealer. It took Onstar a while to find a tow company that could meet our needs. But eventually Allyson from BC towing showed up. What an amazing young woman! Very professional, very sweet (and nope, would not want to arm wrestle that gal!!! LOL). Anyway in no time we were loaded up, on our way to Salem and the dealer. If I can give zero likes I definitely would this company is by far the worst towing company in Salem. I would not recommend anybody work for them. they pay 20% commission and you bust your ass off day and night 24 hour shifts for them to rip you off on your paychecks and it's not even a small amount it's hundreds of dollars and when you confront them about your pay, they Act like they forget to add one of your tows or jobs and when you get the check that you were shorted it's not even the correct amount, it's still less than what they are taking from you. They have done it to others as well . Some are too scared to speak up bc of fear of loosing their job. I was even told to take copies and pictures of my slips and jobs I have done. I noticed my small checks from my first employment for the company. I was fired before my wife could really start investing. She had more then enough to prove but she wanted more. Then came the second time of employment for them. I worked for 3-4 days. Was home for maybe 6 hours during the night to sleep . How would I receive a $9 check ? At 25 % commission B.C. I had told them I was not doing 20% .when I had quit that time . I had talked to them about it this time around when THEY had called me to come back and work for them. So once again. My checks are short and it is frustrating that they would do this to me. They do it to all their employees that don't catch on or speak up. It is so wrong. read more

Just got home after my daughter spent way over 3 hours waiting for a tow in cold outside temperatures. The phone Rep seemed very hassled and at times even upset that she called every half hour. I did not have to look at the rules for writing a review because I only have good things to say .The B&C Co was unable to make contact back with me because there was no way to contact me because I had left my phone in the car and I was told by the security officer where I was that I could be contacted but that was false information and I was just hoping and praying that the B & C company would come on anyway even though they couldn't contact me back and I was just getting ready to call them back because customarily they get back to you within 10 or 15 minutes after your first call and let you know when they'll be coming and it had been like 15 or 20 minutes and so I was getting ready to call them and they showed up .I was so thankful . They took care of my problem for sure within 10 minutes or less after they got there. They're always very courteous and very kind and wished me happy holidays. I thought that was very very kind ,they didn't have to do that. I would recommend their service to anyone and I just want to say thank you to them .I wish a lot of other services that I receive could be like the B &C Co and by the way they did not ask me to do this review, I had to ask them if I could write a review and again thank you for this opportunity read more

$347. That's how much I was charged for a tow of 3 miles. My car was in their lot for 16 hours. I was charged for two days storage as the vehicle was picked up around 1030 PM and kept past midnight. They are allowed to charge for calendar days and not for the actual time the vehicle sits in the lot. The world needs tow services, there is no doubt. We can do without the scammers however. read more

Yeah, they're great when you lock your keys in the car or if your battery dies. HOWEVER I was in an accident earlier this week, and had to have my car towed. I was told if it was towed to their yard my insurance would cover it, I WAS NOT told that I would have to pay for the storage and for it to be towed to my house 5 days later. They also told us they would be bringing it by at 8:00pm, and it showed up at 11:00pm. I am over all very dissatisfied with the communication and reliability of this company. I will be asking my insurance for a new towing company. read more
