Will was really great. He picked me up at the new hospital in the middle of the night when nobody else would. He gave me a safe and comfortable ride. We chatted on the way. I'm seeing some negative reveiws of his taxi service and I couldn't disagree more. Having been a taxi driver in this town over a decade ago, I do know that the competition is fierce and capable of anything to keep the monopoly on the taxi service. Don't believe the negative reviews on Beachcomber taxi. I has a very positive experience. See for yourself. His car was clean and comfortable and he definitely did not stink as I have read in one of the negative reviews. I wouldn't put it past the competition to be behind the negativity. I was a real customer , leaving the hospital at 4 am with a broken collar bone, in a lot of pain. Will was real nice and the fare was reasonable. He saw me all the way to my destination. This man smells as if he hasnt showered in weeks, until you see him, then you realize it has clearly been months! He brags about living in the middle of the woods without any contact with the human race for almost 3 years, even went on to tell us about the one human HE did see, and how TTHEY didnt see him! He over charges when he in fact should be the one being charged and responsible for paying me for being therapist/councelor! I felt like i got to be a Psychiatrist for a few minutes and I already couldnt wait to retire due to a painstakingly dreadfful patient history! I and my friends will absolutely never step a toe back inside of the Sand colored Jeep Cherokee that is lit up with LED lights as if a 3 year old that has an obsession with Outer Space and Aliens decorated it, EVER AGAIN!! great 24hr service. veteran owned and operated. they have standard car service, but they also have a wheelchair van, their "medical transport division" . I'm not in a wheelchair but I use a walker and the ramp is very convenient for me. I learned of this service when I called for a taxi from the hospital at 3am and their van showed up with ambulance lights flashing on roof. the driver was very knowledgeable and very prepared as I noticed the van was stocked with a big medical bag, wheelchair,walker, and fire extinguisher. Can't say enough about beachcomber cab company. They have friendly drivers and clean vans for many passengers. They have help me load groceries and carry them into my home. They have rescued me stuck at emergency room in the middle of the night, and they have taken my family of six to the airport. I made a reservation 2 DAYS in Advance for a local pick up.Beachcomer not only failed to show but didnt bother to call and let me know they werent going to show! I was stranded miles from home in 100 degree heat because thersr people are unprofessional,unethical and apparently dont need MY bussiness! As a female,100%disabled wartime era veteran I implore any prospective customers of this excuse for a taxi company to boycott this "Bussiness"! read more

Out of the couple of taxi companies that are in town Beachcomber Cab Company is the best. they are the only one with 24 hour service, and they are the only one with a large spacious van for larger parties, which also makes them great for airport transportation as there is plenty of elbow room. not to mention headphones for the kids and a DVD player with your choice of movies. absolutely the best. very friendly when we called, we were stranded and no one was available or answering the phone. will assured us that everything was ok. we hung up the phone and a car was with us in under ten minutes. will grabbed our stuff from the busted rental car, and we made it with time to spare.
