We just used Kathy's Taxi Kab service this morning. It was a short drive to PDG airport but Doug (our driver) was right on time (4:45 AM!) My wife is a nervous passenger and I usually have to say something to drivers, but Doug was slow, careful and cautious. And the fare was reasonable too! I highly recommend Kathy's Taxi Kab. I'm a Commissioning Engineer for my company who does work worldwide, and I do a LOT of travelling. Living in Central Florida there's not a lot of choices for my flights out of town, Sarasota as well as Fort Myers International are both over an hour from me. But Kathy's Taxi service has handled all my travel to both sites. And being one who takes the first flights out, Kathy's has been solid on being on time, even on my 3:15 / 3:30 AM required pickups. Doug came to our rescue when our flight was canceled at Punta Gorda airport. We tried Uber and numerous ground transportation services near North Port and no one could help us at 530 in the morning after our Lyft driver didn't show up. We were so glad to see him pull up as the 4 of us stood outside of a nightmare hotel. Doug was kind and considerate and we loved his stories. The owner was extremely rude and disrespectful, blamed a customer for s**t that was not there fault, totally disrespected the customer. Causing them great stress and anxiety to the point of them getting physically sick. I would not and will not be using this cab anymore. And I would not and will not be recommending this cab to anyone!!!! read more
