I would give a negative star rating for this ripoff artist! Jeremy Bates will withhold all of your rentals income and invent crazy charges leaving you with negative balances even after your property has been rented out for months! I am with Jessica E. The way they do business is horrific. They actually refused to do any repairs or even look into a rodent infestation. When I told Randy Fortner I would move out, he told me I would lose my security deposit. I said that's fine and was immediately told, "And I will go after you for more." "For what?" "For breaking the lease." Jesus Christ, I reached out to 2 attorneys. At this point BCG Real Estate has agreed to cancel the lease but of course have taken their sweet time to return my security deposit. I have not received it and will badger them soon. Spent our first night in our new (rental) home last night and woke up smiling, happy and giving much thanks to our Property Manager Randy Fortner. We couldn't be more pleased with how smoothly the rental process has gone and how helpful he has been. After searching for an apartment on our own for what seemed like months and coming up empty handed and feeling rather desperate as our lease was ending soon, I came across BCG Property Management on Craigslist and decided to give them a call. I was leery at first, because in my experience, extra parties involved has always meant extra hassles. However, I contacted Randy on a Wednesday, viewed a house on the following Tuesday, put down a deposit that day and signed the lease and got keys one week later. The entire process took two weeks from start to finish and Randy accommodated us at every turn...he met us on the spur of the moment when a free afternoon became available to show us the house, then on my lunch break at Tim Horton's to sign the lease when I didn't have enough time to get to the property and back to work on time...pretty much anytime I requested, he made himself available to us. He is professional yet friendly and immediately put us at ease in our dealings with him. The lease and what was expected of us was clear and concise...the application was a breeze with instant approval...and the set up of online payments has made it extremely easy for us to take care of things at a click of the button. As an added bonus, the property that we looked at had very old carpets and the owner wasn't looking to invest anymore cosmetically. We mentioned the condition of the carpets to Randy, who agreed with us and sympathized and said he would see if there was anything he could do. The very next day we got the happy news that we would be getting new carpeting! The carpet installation was delayed a few days (by the carpeting company) and Randy immediately accommodated our wait by pro-rating our rent for the days that we had to wait. And wow is all I can say about the new carpets! We are beyond thrilled with how amazing they look and how much it added to our home :) I have recommended Randy and BCG Property Management to several friends in the last month since I have come to meet him and I will continue to do so as this has been an incredibly POSITIVE and stress free move for us. I am a current tenant and are stuck in a lease. The furnace system has racked the bill so high,$212 in one month! Even with HEAP from buffalo, I now owe $400 because the furnace is outdated and the living room which houses an updated thermostat (it reads the coldest room's temperature and makes it 68-70 in there, and 90 in the kitchen bathrrom and MBR) is actually extrememly drafty. A maintanance employee came in the fall to measure the windows and said that all windows would be replaced before winter, and NOW THEY SAY THEY DONT KNOW WHO THE HELL CAME TO OUR HOME?!!! DONT RENT HERE An employee admitted they are not going to fix ANYTHING and to call the city to report them! read more

I agree completely with the previous two reviews. We have been model tenants and have had nothing but problems with this company. They sent us insulting letters basically "accusing" us of doing wrong. They are quick to point a finger, but much quicker to send the bills. The service is awful when work does need to be done. There is a different maintenance person every single time, indicating that they can't keep employees. The work we have had done is shoddy, at best. Absolutely NOT recommended! read more

I contracted with BCG for 3 multiunit apt bldgs for a term of one year. They did basically nothiing for 2 of them but collect the rent for a total fee of $2064. The 3rd bldg was a disaster. They failed to collect rent and left apts vacant. They filled one with a derelict who paid less than 4 months rent before being evicted at a legal cost of $540, and another who bailed out after 4 months. I had to pay new rehab expenses on both apts. I collected 7 months rent and lost 17 months with BCG refusing to return the 2 months unearned fee of $975 for these lousy tenants. They collected an additional mgnt fee of $1370. BCG helped themselves generously to my rent, paying themselves a $60 "office fee" for the effort to evict their own derelict tenant, and $150 to drive 6 miles(13 minutes) to drop off lockboxes at the vacant unit. You would think the $975 placement fee would cover that requirement. I gave them notice that I would not renew the contract after its one-year expiration. BCG returned my $3000 rent money that they insisted on holding all year as a reserve minus a $260 "penalty" for not giving them enough notice that their own contract had expired read more
