So whenever they practice for the recital my daughter was made to feel very left out. The instructor told my daughter that she can do stretches or do whatever she wanted or join the dance. Fact that the instructor pointed that out made my daughter felt like she didn't belong. Paying for the recital or not, every tuition paying dancer should be part of the routine. They have my credit card in their system and charge automatically every month which in the beginning we appreciated because we didn't have to remember to pay or wait for a bill and all that hassle. However, this academy not once sent out updates or announcements of any kind. I checked my spam/junk mail as well as regular mail. They say they do send email but we never got it. Suddenly tuition increased by $30 this month. Also we just found out there is an annual registration fee although there was no additional need for any type of "re-registration." They just simply charge it every July. The reason it's not a 1 star is because after the issue arises they refunded this month tuition smoothly as we decided to pull my daughter from this academy. And while there my daughter didn't mention other issues aside from feeling excluded from the Moana dance. We got quoted with another academy close by for our daughter where tuition is a lot more reasonable and she will be starting there soon.

Current format is more broken down steps, on repeat, then more added to one song. Basically, you're learning a choreography. It's kind of challenging for me. Makes my brain and body work a bit harder to be in sync. There's also an abs section. I do love the new format, but I personally like the nonstop hip hop dance better just because I like nonstop cardio! LOL They offer a lot of classes & the owner is nice, mellow, yet fun personality. Complete Lack of Responsibility…read more At my toddler's ballet class, the instructor removed my daughter from class to use the restroom and HANDED HER OVER to a random adult I do NOT know - someone who does NOT work for the studio. I was sitting just outside the waiting room door the entire time. Instead of taking a few seconds to find me, the instructor allowed a stranger to take my child into a bathroom stall and begin undressing her. Let that sink in. When I confronted the instructor, her response was shocking: "I don't have time to look for parents." Excuse me? Your convenience does NOT come before my child's safety. This is not a minor issue, it's a major breach of trust and judgment. Handing a child to someone the parent has not approved to take them into a private space is completely unacceptable and potentially dangerous. I don't care if the person was "nice" or "helpful" you never, EVER do this. I stay for every class. The instructor knows that. In today's world, how can anyone think this is okay? What happened tonight could have ended very differently and that is terrifying. Parents, beware. If you value your child's safety, think twice before trusting this studio.

My family (family of 4) had a blast here! We stayed there for about 6 hours. We did the obstacle…read morecourse twice and rented 2 kayaks while we were there. Bought 3 food items and a gatorade. But we spent alittle over $300 there on everything! There is a $35 or $45 entrance fee depending on when you come. It's just to come inside the lagoon. If you want the obstacle course it's an additional $10 per person for 55 mins (super short). If you want to kayak, use the aqua bike or use the paddleboard it's an additional $10 per equipment/item. There is a kiddie area for small and young children. They DO NOT allow outside food or drinks except water! There is a small shop that sells misc. items, snacks & drinks (overpriced). They also had a foodtruck inside that was expensive and the meals didn't come with drinks. They do have plenty of staff and lifeguards there. The entrance fee should of been $15-20. The obstacle course atleast 90-120 mins instead of the 55 mins. Wish the foodtruck came with drinks and was a bigger portion.

One of our e-bikes had low battery charge and even though someone was able to bike out to where we were to delivery another battery, the replacement was also low and wouldn't be enough for the time we rented. We also lost time waiting for the other battery. However, kudos to the staff and owner because they made it right for us when we returned the bikes. Spot has good staff and a great location. Our 30th anniversary celebration in early January 2016 already passed with many good memories. One of the most memorable moments and highlights of our anniversary was our first dance we learned from Thanh's Believe & Dance Studio. After our first dance performance, we received so many good compliments from our family members and especially from all of our friends. Certainly, we are proud to say that it was our best dance we have ever performed in our lives. We had in the past tried at least two other well-known dance instructors in Orange County, but unfortunately, we were not happy with neither of them. Due to our bad experience we got from our previous dance instructors, we had no confidence in ourselves when we initially came to learn the dance from Thanh. Not only did Thanh have so much patience and understanding with us, he also had great dancing skills which eventually led us to believe much in ourselves as we progressed through his dance lessons. Thanh was so excellent and creative about designing every step for our dance choreography, which was so unique and special to us that we really enjoyed and felt so much relaxed when we had our opportunity to dance in front of almost 120 of our guests. However, despite the fact that we received good praise from the audience, we were very critical to ourselves after our dance. We went home and watched over and over again the video that we recorded during our first dance performance in order to accurately "rate" ourselves. To much of our surprise, both my wife and I found virtually no flaws in our dance from watching our video clip. We kept watching our video many times for at least over a week period. Every time we watch our video, we continue to believe that we actually performed our dance very well. We really feel now that we owe Thanh, our dance instructor, a lot, thanks to his personal attention and his work dedication to both of us. We firmly feel that without the excellent guidance from Thanh, we would never be confident to perform our first dance in front of so many guests at our anniversary event. As we start to look back, my wife and I are both grateful to have known Thanh as the ONLY best dance instructor we have found so far. Thanh can teach his dance lessons to anyone at any level and age. Thanh has also extended his teaching to all communities, including Vietnamese, Hispanic, Korean, etc...My wife and I highly recommend Thanh and without reservation, we are so much confident that all of us will greatly and enthusiastically learn and enjoy the dance at any dance levels. My daughter KHLOE has been attending the K-pop dance class at BD Educational Center for the past 7/8 months already , and I can't express how thrilled we are with her experience! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming, filled with energy and enthusiasm. The instructor, Miley and Than are incredibly talented and passionate about K-pop. They not only teach the choreography with precision but also encourage the students to express themselves and have fun. My daughter has learned so much in just a few weeks, from mastering intricate dance moves to building her confidence on stage. The class is well-structured, balancing technique with creativity. Our anniversary in January 2016 has just passed with lots of great memories. One of the most memorable souvenirs and highlights of our anniversary was our dance performance that we learned from Thanh. We received a lot of nice compliments from our friends and family. It was one of the best dances that we have experienced together as husband and wife of more than 30 years. Due to our bad past experiences with other dance instructors we came to Thanh with little to no confidence. However, not only was Thanh extremely understanding and patient with us, he also possessed amazing dance skills which eventually led us to believe in ourselves as we progressed through each lesson. Thanh was excellent about designing every step of our choreography that was unique and special for us. We performed in front of 120 of our guests and still could not believe that we pulled it off. Every time we watched our anniversary video, we repeatedly watched our performance because we found virtually no dance flaws and we were extremely impressed. Without Thanh, we would never dare to demonstrate our dance moves and create this experience together. It is first class as a dancing studio (and it doesn't need to be located in Beverly Hills) We are a group of physicians and dentists learning to perform a musical act at the Believe and Dance Studio for the annual Vietnamese Physicians Association Tet Gala 2020. Our instructor (Trung Thanh) was so patient with us. His positive attitude gave us a great deal of confidence and we as his students really enjoyed every seconds learning and practicing with him. We learned to sing, to act and to dance. He is not just a world class ballroom dancer but also an excellent actor and singer. Believe it or not, if I can learn dancing and acting from him in a very short period of time, everyone else can do. I usually don't write reviews and I must go out of my comfort zone and feel the need to talk about BELIEVE & DANCE STUDIO. I LOVE and have enjoyed seeing my niece and daughter grew into confident young women, after attending this dance class. In their pre-teens my daughter and niece have many insecurities which limits the way they express themselves. This class allows them to have fun, become more active, and teach them to express themselves artistically and grow more than I had expected. The teacher (HOANG) is professional, have passion on teaching the girls how to dance which allows them to create their own form of dance. The owner Trung Thanh is very friendly and professional. First out, big shoutouts to Thanh, the owner, who happened to be at the studio when I took a class here recently and greeted all of us who were taking class, making the space welcoming from the start. First thing that greeted me when I walked inside was a large impressive wooden logo with a light LED backlight, letting you know that it was gonna be a fun time. The class was taught by Austin Fernandez, and although challenging, Austin was really helpful going over the moves and kept up a positive environment with all of us there. Trung Thanh, the owner and main dance instructor of the Believe&Dance studio has succeeded in creating a very intimate, nice and professional dance studio in a very short time. Trung Thanh is a very good dance coach because he is technically very detailed and he wants his students to master the dance techniques while having fun. As an instructor, Trung Thanh is very patient and understand the challenges encountered by his students and he tries very hard to help them overcome them. The best dance instructor in town!!! I had had dance lessons off and on for approximately a year before starting private lessons with Trung Thanh at Believe & Dance Studio 5 months ago. The quality of teaching I am getting here far exceeded my previous experiences and my expectiations. Trung Thanh is a talented dancer who is extremely detailed oriented, knowledgable, pleasant, and encouraging in his teaching. Thanh and I danced together at a studio in New Jersey. I am what I call a "stiff, German lawyer" and as such was very nervous about making a fool of myself on the dance floor. From the moment I met Thanh, he put me at complete ease. He wasn't never left alone (especially with new people : strangers before but we left him there as we were told to wait outside) minutes later, we were told to come in and received a big hug. When he recognized a song, he went back to the dance floor and danced around the kids. The instructor didn't like that and at one point even said he was distracting the other kids (as he wasn't on his colored marked circle space) For a child in the spectrum, this is hard to do. They proceeded with the program NOT including him. I felt so bad for our son that i had tears in my eyes even now as Im typing this. Every child deserves to be seen heard and they WANT to be included. They just beed more TIME AND PATIENCE than neurotypical kids.

She text back, let me give her a private lesson or come again on Sunday. I said my daughter is no longer interested, please give me a refund. Then no response, she ghosted me!! STOLE MY MONEY $210. She provided zero services and never responded to my request for refund. If I can save one family from being scammed, my work is done.

She is unorganized, unreliable & has poor communication. I do not recommend this business. Coach JR either doesn't deliver the goods at all or delivers a completely different item or service than agreed upon. Just taking weekly dance classes was fine for us with no issue, (See below the old review when we were just taking classes) but when a planned dance event came up, she did a bait and switch scam. I will never pay a business again through Venmo or Zelle, if I do not receive the goods or service immediately. The $100 solid hip hop Tshirt which was supposed to be a a jersey for solid hip hop's most recent event is still hanging in my Daughters's closet and will stay there as a reminder of that.

The principal is also very attentive to the children and is always open to hearing from parents. I also appreciate the variety of extracurriculars offered, like Karate and ballet, which are so convenient. My son used to be quite shy and didn't interact much, but now he's much more confident and has made many friends. Even though he's moved on to a different school for Kindergarten, he still talks about his old teachers and continues to take piano lessons at the school on Saturdays. I highly recommend this school; it's been a great experience for us.
