She loved it at first, but like any toddlers, they lose interest right away. Then we stopped... then at 4.5, school was over, and she wanted to go back to ballet. My niece loves to dance. Unfortunately, she grew up during the lockdown, and her only dance experience was over Youtube. I took her here for her first in-person dance class. And boy did she love it! Everyone here is fantastic! It is kept fun, age appropriate, flexible for parents schedules and exactly what I wanted for my daughter. We started when she was just a bit over three, and are there now at close to five. For the princess dance series, they start each class with a story. Then ballet time. A short disco party time and then tap time. The teachers are all so enthusiastic with the kids and my daughter absolutely loves coming. They are also really good with the kids when they are having rough days. Because afterall toddlers and preschoolers have those. The way the studio is set up is also great. The wall between the waiting room and studio is half windows so the parents can look in and watch without it being too obvious to the kids (so they don't get distracted). We do a fair bit of trips. And so their makeup policy is really important. While they don't refund a class you cna just make them up other weeks. So the weeks surrounding our trips we do two classes a week to make up for the time we are gone or sick. read more

My three year old daughter started attending her first Ballet/Tap Dance this summer. She had her first trial class and absolutely loved it! So I enrolled her in Ballet/Tap class immediately. Miss Julie, who is the receptionist is so sweet & great! Whenever my daughter had her "off" days when she didn't feel like going into dance class, she came over and helped my daughter feel comfortable going back into class. The dance teachers are wonderful as well~! Miss Emily, Miss Linda, and I forgot the other young lady teacher are all great and very enthusiastic with kids. Creation Station is really good with makeup classes; in case your child gets sick or can't make it. You just have to let them know, so your child can set up a makeup class. We have completed two seasons with Creation Station's Tween Hip Hop Class for our 10 year old daughter. We have taken the Mon & Thurs classes with Miss Britney and Miss Kristen. Our daughter BEGS to attend this class, she loves the teachers, the song selections (T-Pain's "Church", Beyonce's "Crazy In Love", some alternative too). Just super cool songs that she can really get into. They start with stretching then warm ups then, practice the routine. We even tape it so she can practice at home. I have a 3.5 yr old and signed up for the ballet/tap class. Pros: Flexible dance schedules allows you to switch when you can't make it on your usual day. Very relax fun dance class. Class sizes are 3-5 kids Cons: Was looking for a more formal training but geared to 3 yr olds. I wouldn't say it's truly a ballet class as the attire can be anything and there are disco balls and book reading involved. Its a fun activity but not what I expect from a dance studio...The teachers are young and aren't great in engaging uninterested little kids...my kid loves dancing but sat through 80% of the class. My daughter expressed she didn't want to go to dance class but we decided to commit but ultimately decided to stop our subscription because we got a call from the dance studio who tried to help "us" make it more fun for my daughter who cried one time in class. Seems like another parent complained about the crying and the studio called us to "address it"....I was speechless the school was wasting my time trying to "help" my kid from not crying so other parents don't need to hear it... My feedback to the studio is to start with training the dance teachers to be more engaging with preschoolers..Then the studio should be educated on how 3 year olds cry and have emotions to express themselves and how that is normal....I decided to enroll her in another dance studio. read more

My daughter came for a trial ballet lesson and tap class at this Creation Station. The teacher geared all instruction perfectly to the 2-3 year old group. It was really cute to see them stretch while pretending to scrub their toes with imaginary soap. It was really clever. The class had about 8 students in it and I have no idea how the teacher kept her cool while trying to herd that group of cats. It was really amazing to watch. For that age group, they have the parents sit in the studio during the lesson and it was very helpful since my daughter did not seem to want to join the group without me. I loved that it was not a hard sell to buy lessons and they made it easy to bool the trial lesson and borrow shoes. My daughter was a bit too young to get into the lesson but we'll definitely come back here when she starts asking for classes. read more

We searched long and hard for a dance studio for our 2 year old. More than anything, we wanted her to HAVE FUN! She started in the Tot's N Tutu's with Miss Kristen. Tot's N Tutu's allows parent participation as much as the child needs. Ours needed a lot of parent participation for her first month or so. But then, she just blossomed and loves to have Mommy and Daddy watch her. She has graduated to the Ballet/Tap for 2's and 3's with Miss Natalie. This class allows one parent in the class to watch, but no parent participation. Our daughter has exceeded our expectations in this class. Each week, she has fun, makes friends and learns new ballet and tap fundamentals. Miss Kathy, Miss Kristen and Miss Natalie are great at what they do, totally personable and it's obvious that they love kids! They do a great job of keeping the classes focused, while having a good time, and paying attention to each of the students, making each child feel special. We have never second guessed our decision to start our daughter at Creation Station and do not hesitate to refer our friends and family.
