Returning to dance as an adult after growing up in the competitive dance world can be extremely intimidating. The studio culture at KRD is incredibly welcoming, and I have made lifelong friends while attending classes. The instruction at KRD can only be described as caring and artistic. Up date on this amazing dance studio. Yaretzi has been dancing here now 3 years now. Competition season was amazing, ALL of the kids are supportive of each other and the friendships that Yaretzi has built here will last a life time. I personally love the energy they all have. The parents are amazing and supportive of all of the kids also. Kelela you have created such a positive, safe learning space for our kids. Thank you so so much! We will for ever be grateful. The teachers y'all! The teachers are first class, the kids love and respect them so much! They are so talented and genuinely care about every single kid. The pricing is competitive and honestly I don't mind at all because my kid is getting my moneys worth for sure. Took a heels class here on Tuesday night and it was fantastic! I really enjoyed the choreo and the space was lovely. There were two studios and the one we were in was a good size and the class size was small and intimate. I liked the cleanliness of the studio. The parking was also very easy in the large shared lot. read more

We absolutely love this studio! The environment is amazing and all the teachers/staff are the best and very talented. They have a variety of dance classes for all ages which is awesome since I have 4 girls ranging from 5 years old - 13 years old. All the kids support one another and are always there for one another. Competition season is also an amazing experience and my oldest daughter enjoys it so much. These past 5 years have been so much fun and look forward to making more memories! read more

Best dance studio around! My daughter has been dancing since 3rd grade. She has been at KRD since it opened and it has been the best experience, she is now a Sophomore in High school. This studio Check's all boxes from great location to offering all genres of dance to an accommodating schedule. Kelela is not only the owner but she teaches a lot of the classes. She is fully invested, she pours her talents and expertise into each and every dancer there. And the rest of her talented instructors do as well. They are so encouraging. My kids grew up in this studio. This is one of the best dance studios in Orange County! The choreographers are sensational and I couldn't find such variety plus quality of the classes (kids and adults too) for a very affordable price. Besides that studio offers shows twice a year, competitions and parent participate in winter show for free. Just walk inside and see all the trophies! I have been attending Kelela Rose Dance since 2021 and since the beginning it has been nothing but a positive experience. Kelela (the owner) runs her business extremely well and provides the utmost support and training for her students. There is also an amazing faculty line up that ensures a well rounded dance environment. The range of classes is amazing (and consistently growing), anywhere from a 3 year old to adult students can take classes offered at your level. She also offers holiday production, recital, and competition team opportunities for your dancer to grow and become a part of the community. Family friendly dance studio. Fabulous caring teachers, my children love going to the classes this studio offers. They have made great friends and always feel welcome and happy going. My eldest daughter loves the ballet here, the teacher is ABT certified and the owner of the studio Kelela Batinga teaches hip hop, contemporary, stretch & conditioning and many more which both kids enjoy. We did dance competition with Kelela for hip hop jazz and contemporary - the team had outstanding results all the while having a fantastic team spirit with each other, supportive and fun. I started taking classes here when they first opened as there aren't really any adult classes in the area. I grew up dancing but after college it felt like there was nothing left out there for me in the dance world. Adult classes tend to either be too easy or too expensive. The adult classes at this studio feel like I picked up where I left off as a kid. They have a wide variety of levels and the community is amazing. There also isn't a higher price tag due to the "adult" title. It is reasonably priced at what I was used to paying for dance classes throughout my life. In all of the classes everyone hypes each other up. After last year it was exactly what I needed. I was not active anymore but have found a way to move again. read more
