The lake has a little beach the kids enjoy which is a big plus. We love having a washateria nice showers and restroom at the front of the park that are very clean. They also have a propane filling station. The owner comes by every morning to get the trash with his tractor. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. We were traveling with friends, and the office employee went out of her way to get us neighboring sites--huge plus! The sites themselves were clean, spacious, and well-equipped with full hookups. Each site had two drain hose connections, which is super helpful for different camper setups. We stayed in a gravel site, which was surprisingly level and included a concrete walkway and a patio with a table and chairs. Some sites are concrete, so there's a nice mix depending on your preference. Though this KOA is on the smaller side and the turns can be a bit tight, our 51-foot truck and camper combo had no issues navigating. The campground is just off I-20 with wide streets leading in, making access easy and stress-free. If we ever need a place to camp overnight in Shreveport, this will be our go-to spot. Highly recommend!
