The quality of their photo strips is excellent, and they were able to customize our photo strips to match our wedding invitations exactly! We decided to have a photo booth sort of last minute (2 weeks before our wedding), and we had a specific budget in mind for this. I am so disappointed with this company. Due to Covid, my fiancé and I have to move our wedding. Every vendor has been super accommodating and understanding, except for be the star photo booth. They refuse to give our money back, and cannot come to the moved date. We would even be willing to accept half the money, but they said no. I just feel that with the devastation of having to move our wedding and not have it as we always dreamed due to Covid, a wedding business should understand and be empathetic. It is sad that during this difficult time, this company refuses to refund any of the money during these unprecedented times. All I asked was for half the money back, how unethical during a pandemic. read more

All the safety protocols they have in place are very appreciated at the event as well. Be the Star Photo Booth was absolutely incredible!! I contacted Denise to learn more about their packages for my daughter's Sweet 16 and booked on the spot. Denise was extremely responsive and so easy to work with! We had close to 100 guests (mostly teenagers!) at the party and Denise and Mark kept the kids moving right along, assisted with prop selection and each and every time told us where to look to get the best picture! We also opted for the scrapbook which I HIGHLY recommend. An additional strip is printed for the book and it is a priceless keepsake. My daughter couldn't wait to get home and just look at all of the pictures. And then the photos were shared on line the next day and we can download them for free!! They were also very accommodating when we asked if we could move the reservation up an hour due to incoming snow. I cannot say enough good things about them. Be the star photobooth was absolutely the HIT of our party. This was a formal event for UCONN medical/dental school with about 500 attendees. Everyone cannot stop talking about how much fun they had with the photobooth. Denise was great in helping us set up for the event - she was easy to get in touch with and made beautiful templates for the printouts for us. We had to change the template about 3 times due to copyright issues with our school logo but she was more than willing to keep going back to the chalkboard to get us the perfect template. Her and her husband manned the event and were so enthusiastic and fun which just added to the whole experience. You really get your money's worth - free printouts and downloads from the internet - and the quality of the pictures is on point! It's really nice to be able to download your pictures after the event and not have to pay all sorts of extra money like other photographers like to do to try and hide their costs. I would highly recommend this photobooth service to anyone planning a formal, party or wedding, it was SO worth it and I am so glad we did this - I can't wait to have them again next year. read more
