Lights Camera DJ came through for us at the eleventh hour after we realized we were being scammed by another DJ we hired. Duane was super accommodating and spent extra time with me on the phone to plan things out. Steve was the DJ we got and he did a phenomenal job for our son's bar mitzvah. He kept the kids engaged and having fun the entire time. I received many messages from parents thanking us for how much fun their kids had. Michael just DJ'ed for my wedding and he absolutely KILLED it (which is a good thing for you non-millennials)!!! The entire dance floor was always packed and I had multiple people ranging from teenagers to couples in their 60s come up and say the set-list was perfect all night long. I even had a few people say they wanted to reach out to the DJ to ask for the playlist he used. There was a great mix of wedding classics and newer songs. He also did a great job of stopping by to give my wife and me a heads up of the schedule every hour or so. His supporting staff was also friendly and energetic. Whenever I looked over at the DJ booth, they were jamming along with the rest of the guests, and that makes a tangible difference. The photo booth was also extremely impressive. It had an interactive touch screen that allowed you to choose between color prints and black and white photos. The props were a huge hit as well. All of our guests loved it. Brandon was the DJ at my daughter's wedding in late May in Westchester County, NY. He was EXCELLENT. My daughter and son-in-law gave him a list, as ideas for other songs, and he filled in beautifully. It really doesn't matter who's in charge of the music as long as it's good, it connects with the guests and there's somebody with a good voice to control the momentum of the night. We can't even begin to explain how amazing LCDJ was from day 1!!! Duane and his staff made us feel so at ease with all the planning. Jen shot our engagement photos which she did such an amazing job with, the come wedding day I can't say enough about her and Amanda. Jen's easy going personality made her so enjoyable to be around even though I hate my picture taken! Amanda kept a great leash on the boys to keep them in line at all times! So far we have only seen our sneak peek pics which are amazing and can't wait to see the full album! I have already gotten so many compliments on the amazing DJ, MC and photographers! We were pointed to Lights/Camera/DJs by our wedding venue as a recommended vendor. Our first meeting with the owner, Dwayne, was professional and very friendly. Great sense of humor and very experienced in all things entertainment. Lights/Camera/DJs offered a lot of options which was great for staying within our budget. We booked a photographer (Jen), DJ (Rui), and added on a MC (Mike) to help keep things organized. They kept in touch during the planning stages, helping us with great advice and really listening and responding to our customizations. On the wedding day (4/9/17), the photographer was gentle, friendly and never invasive. She asked us for our opinions about group photos and kept us informed as we went through the wedding party poses. She even came to the rescue of one of my bridesmaids who had a dress emergency! The MC was friendly and professional. He checked in with us often to make sure things were flowing the way we wanted at the reception. He kept everything organized and moving along and worked very well with the venue staff and ceremony officiant. Our DJ played an amazing range of music and was sure to include our favorites. He kept an eye on the crowd and seemed to know when to slow it down and when to play just the right song to get everyone on their feet. These three people seemed very happy to be a part of our day and it really made us feel special. I'd seriously consider this company if you are planning an event. read more
