I had a truly horrific experience with Sammy. I went to get my eyeliner tattooed and the attached…read morephotos show what the permanent results are. This is after she spent 4 hours (two sessions six weeks apart) working on my eyes. My eyes are now a mess, and when I sent Sammy these pictures, she accused me of wearing makeup/doctoring the photos. In these photos, I am not wearing a stitch of makeup. There is ink smeared all over the place making my eyes look purple. On one eyelid, there are spots where the ink is missing. On the other eye, the line is thick and comes down way farther on the outside than on the other eye. Both lines are quite crooked. The photos don't capture everything nearly as well as seeing my eyes in person. I have made countless phonecalls around Ontario, and have learned that laser tattoo removal is too dangerous to be done on eyelids, so this is now the result I have to live with. I wanted tattooing because I am not great with makeup and thought it would make my daily makeup routine simpler. Just a little mascara and I would be good to go most days. Now I have to apply concealer several times a day, as it wears off quickly, just to try and cover some of the mess. I feel very self concious in public and am embarrassed for anyone to see me without full eye makeup now. I reached out to Sammy asking for compensation, but she wasn't willing to give me back even a small portion of the price I paid her to tattoo my eyeliner. In my opinion, she should be accepting some responsability and be willing to compensate me in some way. Please, if you are considering giving your business to Lash and Brow by Sammy, reach out to me first. I would be happy to let you see my eyes firsthand before you make a decision about spending your money at this business. If there was an option to not give this business a star rating at all, I would choose that, but I must give at least one star to post this review so it is what it is.

I'm in town visiting so used to having my nails done…read morewith dip powder the proper way. 1) the selection of color for dip powder was small. 2) I was sat with my hands soaking in straight Acetone for 45 minutes to remove my previous dip. The lady who came in behind me to get dip powder had hers removed properly by wrapping cotton balls soaked in acetone around her fingers. So afterwards my hands are cracking dry. 3) the nail tech forced UV light processing which is not necessary for dip powder and the reason I get it. Clearly she does not know how the process works. She claimed it makes the dip shiny. 4) I was told I was done but my nails have streaks and rough spots. The pics do not show the horrible job enough. I paid $50 for a horrible nail job I will have to get redone when I get home next week.

I am absolutly disgusted I got my nails done first time on thur I called then before to see if the…read moreombré machine was working they told me yes I then went and go my nails done where I had a tech not even know how to use the machine being on a time limit cause of school i told her whatever dont worry about it I then was done they charged me 85$ for nails I didnt want and plus the nails were done so poorly that I had signs of growth leaving the salon I then called them where I was consistently told she will do ombré but wont give me my money back where I even said I would take 50% only back to get them done somewhere else she said no come back tomorrow I will do it so I did where I was told she will do the ombré and fix the nails which she did but she rushed through is and must have missed a step cause now all my shellac is peeling off the nails I called today as there was a holiday and she is pretty much blaming me and saying she will do one color on my nails no I want at least 50% of my money back so I can go get them done somewhere who cares she has told me no and now I am here please be careful this is disgusting behaviour of a business owner pedi and nails on kortright is where to go Julie treats people fair and if a mess up is done she makes sure u leave happy #luxnailsguelph
