Overall, this is a good massage place for people who prefer a lighter-touch massage. The therapist was professional and kind, and I can see how his style would work well for others. However, I was disappointed because I specifically requested a full-body deep tissue massage and asked beforehand if he was able to provide that type of treatment. He said yes, but the deep tissue portion only lasted about 15-20 minutes before transitioning back into a light Swedish-style massage. I was also not informed that he only focuses on certain sections of the body, even though I requested a full-body session. I completely respect his massage style and understand that it may be exactly what some clients are looking for. I just wish there had been more honesty and clarity upfront so I could have chosen a therapist better suited to the type of treatment I wanted. I left feeling disappointed because I paid for a service that didn't match what was discussed beforehand. read more

Mark Rich has been instrumental in my road to recovery. I had several bad falls within a 6-month period of time. I fell down stairs and hurt my tailbone, I tripped hiking and rolled downhill, hurting my back and hip, and I also had a bad hike- too high, too fast and wrenched my left leg and hip. Needless to say, besides pain, I had difficulty walking, was very stiff and protective of my back, my leg muscles were spasming with restless leg day and night. I couldn't even lift my leg to put my pants on. I went to 2 different chiropractors and 3 different massage therapists until I found Mark. Mark immediately identified and zeroed in on my problem. Lanelle does cranial sacral massage on me which makes me feel amazing! Over the past 13 years, I have experienced chronic nerve pain in my arms and numbness in my left leg (both from spinal cord surgery). The standard response from the medical field has been pain meds, which I refuse to use, so I have learned coping mechanisms. After only 4 sessions, I wake up with no pain (something I have not done for 13 years), and when I do feel pain, it is brief and much less than before; the numbness in my left leg is nearly gone; sleep is wonderful; I carry myself better because my posture is better and I am not compensating for the pain in my arms.
