Her hypothyroidism improved so much that even her bloodwork didn't even show that she has it anymore. Also, the slow decline in her kidney function completely went away and her eGFR jumped up 14 points! She's now not in any kidney stage as per bloodwork as well! She also had been always battling constipation that is now regular and also has been slowly steadily losing weight over the last 1 1/2 years! She's been following fairly strict AIP dietary protocol that has also helped with many things i.e. thyroid, kidneys etc and with proper supplements specific for her personalized needs by Husack Wellness Center. Rebekah is phenomenal and very kind and caring and puts a lot of hard work and effort into all that she does. She cares deeply for her clientele. I feel it and see it as well as seeing the results of all of it! Praise God for her because she is a Godsend for our daughter! Thank you Rebekah for all that you do!!!

All of these incidents happened with in a few months of each other and some overlapping. To keep it short they missed plagiocephaly (flat head syndrome in babies) in my infant twins. I had a wonderful friend encourage me to get a second opinion after the PA reassured me for MONTHS that it would "round out." Turns out my daughter was SEVERE requiring two helmets and had a misaligned jaw. I brought to her attention that my 7 year old had an uneven scapula and looked as if it was early onset scolioses. I had to ask for PT and that was all we were given. No referral to a specialist or even recommendation to see one. We were told it would be fine and she'd grow out of it. We are seeing a surgery specialist next month. The last straw was my infant son at 7 months went into the office because he was crying, wouldn't eat and kept pulling on his ears. she said they were kind of red and he could get an antibiotic if it didn't get better. It didn't get better so we tried the antibiotic. He wouldn't eat for weeks. I called the office and tried to get some help. All they wanted was another office deductible to tell me to try another antibiotic. This went on for months where he wouldn't eat. She wasn't concerned and said he would out grow it and it was a phase. After a visit with a GI Specialist it turns out he was allergic to his formula I had breast fed until he was 7 months old). By the time we got him to a specialist after dealing with her nonsense and run around for months he was considered FAILURE TO THRIVE. He hadn't gained an ounce in over THREE MONTHS. I am all for holistic approach to medical care! I love my naturopath doctor & facility. This is not a qualified office to deal with more than a cold or flu. Side note: you will only ever see the PA. EVER. The Dr at the practice lives in Colorado. When I delivered my twins the nurses encouraged me to find a different practice and I didn't listen. I was warned.

Many doctors mis-diagnosed the peripheral neuropathy in my hands and feet as other things like Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and Morton's Neuroma. I learned about EPIC Healthcare Systems in January 2025 and have been under their care since then (it's July 2025). I can now walk without pain again. I no longer have stabbing, dull, achy pains with jerking and tingling in my feet and legs. We are in the middle of the treatment plan for my hands and my hands are no longer achy and tingling with prickly stabbing. They are more accurate. I already show signs of nerve repair and regeneration as more strength and accuracy return to my hands. I have auto-immune diseases; lupus and psoriasis. The dermatologist could not find anything to clear up my skin. I started a functional medicine regime in April. Three weeks into it my skin cleared up. I am now three months in and I no longer vomit and get nauseous for no reason. I have lost weight (30lbs). All my fat just melted off without any effort by eliminating foods that cause inflammation and avoiding toxins that come from food, other products and the environment. The dedicated staff are friendly and professional. The office is well run. It is a comfortable environment. There needs to be more establishments like this around the metroplex. They all work as a top-notched team. The holistic and functional approach to medicine is a personal win-win for me. Worth every penny.

After suffering from hip pain for several years, I decided to seek treatment and chose Epic…read moreHealthcare after researching providers in my area. Their website highlighted numerous accolades and success stories, which gave me hope that I had finally found a path toward relief and a better quality of life. During my initial consultation, X-rays were taken, and stem cell therapy was recommended for my hip. Because my pain had become unbearable, I agreed to move forward with the treatment. A plan/schedule was made and I was encouraged to believe it would help. The injection procedure itself went smoothly. However, afterward, I was sent for an adjustment with Dr. T. During that first adjustment, he manipulated -adjusted - snatched the same leg and hip that had just received the injection. I was not expecting this, and the pain was immediate and extreme. My pain level went from manageable to overwhelming in seconds. I cried during the appointment, and it was obvious how much pain I was experiencing. To this day, I do not know whether it was communicated to Dr. T that I had just received a stem cell injection. Was my plan not discussed with everyone? What I do know is that I was given written instructions stating, "If it hurts, don't do it." Yet the area that had just been treated was manipulated despite the severe pain it caused. What followed only deepened my concerns. After that first incident, Dr. T repeatedly told me he would not touch that leg again. While that may have been intended as reassurance, it left me asking a simple question: if it should not have been adjusted afterward, why was it adjusted in the first place? The experience was upsetting enough that I brought my friend, Dr. Tania, with me to several subsequent appointments. I wanted another set of eyes and ears present because I was struggling to understand what had happened and why my condition was not improving. I continued treatment because I wanted to remain hopeful. Over the following weeks, I consistently reported that my hip--the sole reason I sought treatment--was not improving. In fact, some days it felt worse. I repeatedly described the sensation as feeling like sandpaper grinding inside my hip joint. Despite consistently raising these concerns, I never received a clear explanation of my progress, nor any objective evidence that the treatment was helping. After approximately two months of treatment and ongoing payments, I attended a review appointment with Dr. T. Improvements in areas of my back were discussed, but there was no meaningful discussion of my hip, the very condition for which I had sought care and received stem cell therapy. When I asked whether additional imaging or evaluation would be done to assess the hip, I was told no, more time was needed and that I should continue treatment. Though the three times a week treatment I was attending was not directed towards my hip. What frustrated me most was not that the treatment failed to produce results. No ethical healthcare provider can guarantee an outcome. What frustrated me was the lack of transparency when those results failed to appear, especially after what happened. Every time I asked how long improvement should take, the timeline seemed to change--from a few months to as much as a year. I was never given a clear expectation for my specific situation, nor a straightforward answer regarding whether the treatment was working. I entered treatment hopeful and optimistic. Instead, I left after two months in greater pain than when I started, with a hip that continued to hurt every day and night, more questions than answers, and a growing sense that my concerns were being managed rather than addressed. Patients seeking relief from chronic pain deserve more than encouragement to "give it time." They deserve clear communication, objective follow-up, honest assessments, and accountability when treatments do not produce the expected results. I came seeking relief. I left feeling unheard--and in more pain than before though I followed the plan laid out for me when the staff did not. Gaelyn
