My wife had her annual appointment here in January. She checked the self pay rate before scheduling since we were paying cash. Before she left, she paid the entire bill. A few weeks went by and we started receiving bills from Quest diagnostics. The bills were not small. She called Quest who told her she had to speak with Lifestream. She spoke with Lifestream who told her she should not be receiving a bill because she paid in full. We continued to get bills. Every month we repeated the same dance. Every month we were told we shouldn't be receiving a bill. She messaged Susan Harris herself who assured us she would personally take care of this. It's the very end of June and we received yet another bill saying it is past due. This isn't rocket science, it's not even as difficult as traditional medical billing where you have to go back and forth with insurance to get paid. This was a cash payment. Simple. I would not recommend this place to anyone. If they can't handle something as simple as a cash payment, I'm not sure how they could even begin to handle the complexities of treating patients. My wife and I are so disappointed in the lack of care we have received from this office. read more

The Doctor herself is very nice and attentive, however, I have been calling and emailing them for 3 weeks to get my medical records and NOBODY will call me back. I feel terrible and need help and this customer service has been absolutely horrible. You can never reach anyone at the front office, they won't respond to texts or emails. You also can't leave a voicemail for the front office 90% of the time. I was finally able to leave a voicemail last week and nobody called back again . This is completely unacceptable and unprofessional behavior on their part and they don't care at all. I have nobody helping me and I am just suffering with no help. I have tried to look into other options and its been one let down after another just to be able to see a doctor. Sad world we live in!!!! read more

I've been going to Lifestream 4 years. Dr Sharolyn is no longer there and I feel like Susan is way too busy. It works for me as I just maintain my current regimen, so a 2-3 min Dr visit is fine. The reason for my negative review is for my daughter, who I sent to LS. She has PCOS and deals with horribly painful cramps plus a hormonal imbalance due to this issue. I won't go into all the details, except to say that my daughter was in horrible pain and couldn't get a call back from Susan. After her 2nd call to LS, they offered my daughter a telledoc visit scheduled for 2 weeks later! $80 and a 5 min visit only to have my daughter's PCOS not even addressed. She felt "dismissed" during the mostly one-sided call. Needless to say, my daughter is looking for a new dr. One who has time to address her health concerns and genuinely care enough to consider a health plan to help her. FYI they use a lot of supplements which is not covered by insurance. My testosterone and progesterone is compounded by a pharmacy and not covered either. In order to get refills you'll be required to do blood work and an office visit every 6 months, whether there are changes or not. read more

Office Staff: poorly run practice with unprofessional front desk staff. Wait time to see the NP was 45 minutes. When I inquired with the front desk staff as to why the wait was so long I was told they had no idea: 'she must be running late'. As I returned to my seat a Pharmaceutical Representative & her manager came into the office. They were requesting the opportunity to introduce the new Rep to the practice staff. They waited less than 5 minutes & were taken into the back for a minimum of 15 minutes while the patients continued to wait. While we waited a patient called into the office with questions regarding their bill. The front desk staff member told her she would have to speak to the office manager, would she please hold. She placed the call on hold & turned to the office manger & said loudly: 'Don't Answer That!'. The Office Manger replied with: 'THANK YOU' for the heads up. An additional patient called in regarding what their insurance had paid. Directly following the call the front office staff turned to discuss with her colleague, clearly stating: 'I don't know what they want us to do, we don't set the insurance standards!!'. This is the worst example of paraprofessionals I have experienced in Coppell. The office is not large and the reception area is open with excellent acoustics. I am not the only patient who was appalled at this behavior today. This is the second time I have personally experienced this length of wait time. Based on the other reviews & my personal experience this is a theme in this practice. The clinical services are good, however; the lack of professionalism amongst the office staff has left me seeking other service providers. read more

Susan Harris did not meet my expectations for thyroid and hormone care. Waste of time, energy, and unnecessary travel (5 hrs each way), and expenses due to disorganization and errors. More focused on selling functional medicine tests at out of pocket prices than listening to the patient. Thyroid care is the reason for the appointment, yet thyroid labs were not ordered on initial visit. That error was revealed at the 2nd visit to go over labs. This error necessitated a second blood draw and an additional trip/expenses. I specifically requested RT3 & certain micronutrients testing. A third appt was made to go over labs. A week prior to the third appointment, I discovered there was an error and again, correct bloodwork was not done...why go back? read more

I went to this clinic in hopes of finding a more holistic approach to some issues I was having. My first visit was pleasant, the staff was friendly, the doctor was kind. I was really hopeful because this clinic had great reviews. I didn't love the fact that weight loss was pushed so much from the treatments, to posters everywhere -- I just think as a doctor weight loss isn't always the first step or the main goal. As a woman who always tries to be comfortable in her body, It just rubbed me the wrong way. But hey, whatever right? I had my blood drawn for a panel I was told was specific to their practice and would probably cost me 100-150 to complete, which I was fine with. The doctor said I'd need to come back to review the blood work with her once the results were in. My second appointment is where I started seeing a lot of issues and was very turned off. I was in the room waiting for the doctor for 45 minutes past my appointment time, which, I know things happen. I was anxious because I had other plans that day. When the doctor finally came in she reviewed my blood work and gave me a copy. And as anyone with a chronic illness will tell you, I had questions regarding some of the concerning numbers. I asked what type of vitamin D was tested and instead of just saying "I'm not sure I'll have to check on that" I was told it was the one that was most important and hurried along. Most of my questions went unanswered, and I felt like they were irritating to her. When you come into the office there is paper work to assess all body systems and how they're functioning and you basically scale them from 0-10 or something like that. Then you tally the score for a total. After rushing through my blood work (which I wasted $60 for a rushed and very late appointment) we went over the tally quickly. I'll never forget knowing how much pain I was in, how long I had gone without ovulating or a period, and the doctor telling me "well your tally score is the lowest out of all I've seen today, most women can't stop bleeding and you just want to start!". Which, was invalidating and rude -- especially since I waited almost an hour to hear that. This was a little less than a year ago, and I still remembering how I felt leaving the office. Very defeated, like I was broken, and that my issues weren't "a big deal". She told me I needed to buy two of their supplements (Vitamin D and chaste berry) which I did. (Knowing full well that supplementing vitamin D is like supplementing synthetic hormones I stopped after a few months because it made me feel worse.) not to mention, the lab work ended up costing me $290 after insurance. I felt compelled to write this now, because a friend of mine had a similar experience at this clinic. I was very hopeful myself after reading reviews about this place, but it definitely was not for me. This office feels like allopathic medicine with a functional price tag. read more

Once you get to visit with Susan or Michele they are so warm and friendly. However, I had the 1st appt of the day and still waiting 25 min past appt time to be seen (and was here on time). Front office is so disorganized. They just took someone back that just arrived and I'm still sitting waiting room. The Esthetician didn't go over pricing before administering dysport... total rip off especially for a person who doesn't need much! never in my life have a ever paid that amount. Also according to state standards you have to be an RN or doctor, Anyone else doing any type of injectables or using needles is out of their scope. Dr. Harris is very nice and I have been coming for years. However, I have noticed recently that the staff is less than caring about the patients. Whenever I call with a question, I get very condescending answers and get the feeling they are just trying to get me off the phone. I recently called because I was told I needed to schedule a second mammogram on precisely six months. When I called to ask about this, I just got transferred to the nurse station by a very phony receiptionist. I expressed I was concerned about a pain on my right side and did want to see about scheduling the mam. Again just got passed along. Also the nurse is rude too. My 15 year old daughter woke up with severe spinal pain in the lumbar region. She could not stand or sit up straight. Fearing the worst, over a 2 week period we went to a local clinic, 3 ER's including 2 children's, primary care physician, orthopedic and chiropractor. We had x-rays, MRI, CT scan and multiple blood work drawn and they showed nothing was wrong with her.
