Great attention to detail. I have been satisfied with the powder dip service there. The pedicures aren't bad but are also nothing to write home about (not super thorough either time and rushed). I just moved here so this was my first time getting my nails done in this area. The place is cute, the area is convenient. It's right by a grocery store, gas station and some fast food places. I decided to go with acrylic nails and a pedicure. The pedicure was great, I had no issues with that. The polish started chipping a few days later but I was very active. So, I will just chalk it up to that. The manicure itself was pretty good as well. The issue was with my medium length acrylic nails. I was not advised that shaping and "extension" were $5 extra each. While it is not a large sum, I'm confused as to why it is not included in the service (especially shaping). I also noticed that my nails were not evenly shaped. One was crooked and a few of the others were different sizes. I didn't make a fuss because it wasn't noticeable from a distance and I had other appointments to get to as I was preparing for vacation. Overall, I would not return. It's not a bad place to go but it's not somewhere I would recommend if you're used to inclusive pricing and nails that are shaped properly. Had a horrible experience. Very long story as therr are So many things went wrong. It was my first time here so I looked at the reviews and got a name of a person that had a lot of great reviews. I called the shop asking how much my service was and was told it would be less than $50 as a new set is 50. I said ok, I would like Mimi for my gel fill at 2pm and got the ok. Next day I got to the shop 5 mins early. I was sat down at the table and now it's 2:20. I ask when Mimi is coming and was told we are really busy right now and I said, I know, that's why I made an appointment. She ends up coming at 2:45 and she starts doing my nails. Like 10 mins in she asks acrylic fill why you not make appointment? Mind you, on my ticket they get printed for what service I'm getting says 2pm gel fill. I said I did make an appointment and I'm getting gell fill. She suddenly stops and say very annoyed "I don't do gel". I'm confused because I made that specific service with the specific person and was told ok when making the appointment. She then goes, someone else will do your nails. I have no choice but to say ok. Then I have to wait another 20 mins for someone to come and it was Nancy and she came in hot. She was so not in the mood, mumbling things under her breath while sitting down ( she was doing this the entire time while doing my nails). She starts grinding my nails and ask "acrylic?" And I say no, it builder gel. Then she says something in her language to her coworker blah blah gel blah blah acrylic and I say no it gel. Why would I lie of what is on my nails and mess it up with getting 2 differnt kinds of material. And now she is even more annoyed. I am very particular with the sides of my nail and I told her please color the sides. She missed a lot of them so I asked her to touch up the sides and she didn't like that. Alsothere was a huge cuticle hanging off my finger and she didn't even cut it. I had to ask her to do it. Now I'm done and it's almost 5, get to the register to pay and my total comes out to $93. I asked why is it that much? I was told it would be less than 50 for a fill. Nancy now acts like she can't speak English and calls her coworker to deal with me and she is mumbling things under her breath and walking away. Then he guy explaining the break down the cost says gel fill and new sets are both $50. Why would I get a fill if a new set is the same price. Makes no sense. Then goes on saying getting gel polish on my gel nails is additional 15. He was saying something more about the break additional costs and I didn't understand what he was saying and I didn't want to cause a scene so I just paid and left. Good thing I asked for the receipt cause they charged me some bull shit charges. Like I said, long horrible experience from beginning to end. read more

We had been going here since July 2024. My very first gel pedicure here was great! Nice and even shape, and neatly applied the gel polish. Sadly, that was the first and last time it was ever the case. We kept trying to see if maybe it was just an "off time/day" but after this last time we decided to finally try somewhere else. Not only was the polish not applied well with clear view of the nail showing on the sides (the polish was a cherry brown, that was a huge contrast from the nail) but it was unorganized when it came to the receptionist not writing down the color I chose and the nail tech having to hunt her down for it, followed by asking us if we'd like something to drink, to where we said yes and it was never delivered. Not to mention the manager/owner ,unsure exactly which, was the one who asked us if we would like a drink. We don't go often. We go maybe once a month or so and we probably gave them too many tries/ "benefit of the doubt." -purchased the higher priced pedicures at first and even that didn't make a difference in the gel application. -rushed appts. My partner doesn't get polish and his pedicures were extra rushed. read more

I paid for my daughter to get acrylic nails with a design for Valentines. We have been going to Shine for two years and love it. The prices have recently increased and service has gone down hill the nail technician did not pay attention to the photos of the desired nails, would not add to the design to correct it and the manager did nothing to help. read more

I got recommended this place by a friend and they are amazing!!! First time I went I asked for Thai but she was out that day so another person did them! I don't remember his name but he was super nice and my nails lasted for over a month! I went back today and got my nails done by Bella and she's so sweet! I did glitter this time around which I could tell was tricky. Especially when drilling around my cuticles. But she took her time and my nails came out looking great! If you're a college student like me they do offer a student discount you just have to let them know! I couldn't recommend this place enough! I have an appointment at 11:30am for Mani/pedi and eyebrow wax. I was told it will be a few minutes so I waited after 30 minutes I asked how long. I was told another 20 minutes. Wow people walked in with no appointments and they're able to service them right away! I was like that almost an hour wait for someone who has an appointment so I told the girl no I would go somewhere else. No I wouldn't recommend this place EVER!!! They do not honor their appointment. I hope I can give this place a zero star. I went somewhere else without an appointment and I was seen within 10 minutes and did an awesome job! Ans nail in Lewisville are the Best! read more

Horrible customer service and disorganized. Complete time stealer!!! Do not go here if you are looking for a nail salon that is comfortable with working with all clientele. After waiting forty-five minutes, I saw two techs arguing over who would complete my pedicure while standing in front of the lady they both wanted to serve, who had just walked in. One even went as far as ruching to turn on her water. When I called back to speak with the manager, they put some women who could not speak English on the phone. Only to say we are too busy today.
