Great table and fast service on a rainy Wednesday in July. We've been here before and haven't had the best luck with the mixed drinks (too dilute/no alcohol), so tonight we stuck with draft beers and soda. We got the fried chicken, Cubano and Pele burger. Chicken got a 10/10 for flavor and delicious crispy skin. I give the Cubano 8/10--nice panini style with pickles, pulled pork and ham. The fries were good and generously portioned. The pele burger got a 8/10--great portion, great flavor and truly spicy! Service gets an 8/10. A note! If you're a city water or bottled water person, most of the tap water in the restaurants in this area tastes/smells of "well water", "rust", "iron"... if you're particular about your drinking water bring your own, ask for bottled, or ask for drinks without ice. read more

Unfortunately the food was tasteless. We had a taco salad that was just beef and no taco or any seasoning what so ever. The burger my hubby had was just beef without even pepper or salt so it tasted like, I guess, blah and the bun was dry and fell apart as he chomped into it. For the cost, I was really disappointed. We decided to give this place a try after some friends' recommendations. The place has fun decor inside and a nice space outside to play some corn hole. We came on a Wednesday night for Wings Night. We ordered the wings 1 hour from opening and waited for our food. We were told they did not have wings, they were out. 1 hour after opening and you are out of your nightly special? We found other food to order but we were saddened to see a table get seated while we were eating. They ordered wings and presto! Wings appeared. Our food, was under-seasoned and bland. read more

Tiniest lobster roll I have ever seen. Basically 2 bites on a hot dog hun. Didnt take my order for onion rings down, then brought it out 15 minutes after we had all finished. Completely forgot my daughters order so she had to sit there and watch us all eat, but her order still came out before the onion rings. Came in on a Wednesday night with a party of seven. Waitress shows up to table and starts throwing menus at us on the table. We ask her how her night is going and she exclaims BUSY!!! Food was good but took forever. Two of the ladies at our table had to go to the bar for refills. 18% gratuity added onto our bill. Didn't try until last year as previous efforts at this location failed to impress. Well the drinks and food here are good and we have only experienced good service. My grandsons (6&8) love it- probably related to the frisbee plates but this spot turned the youngest into a onion ring eater . Nice by the lake feel, clean and friendly. Great food, great location! Pulled pork sandwich was very tasty, as well as the shrimp tacos and burgers we ordered! Has trouble getting our waters refilled, but there was only one server and several tables outside ordering alcohol which trumps our water requests. Tried the banana chocolate cake for dessert. Was interesting. Bottom layer was like banana bread, top layers was chocolate cake... meh. Not very noteworthy. Would definitely go back and try a different menu item and pass on dessert. read more

Beach vibe with Caribbean and Hawaiian themed drinks. Great selection of tap beers. Nice mix of beach type food and good broasted chicken. Patio has beautiful lake view and large lawn for games. Music on weekends. Nycole was the best sever and did double duty while we were there serving and bar tending. She makes wonderful mojitos, some of the best I've had. This place has the best fish tacos. Their coleslaw is delicious too. I remember when this location was the Greystone. Between now and then there were multiple turnovers, however Beach Bums exceeds expectations, and their atmosphere and food are amazing. Bacon cheeseburger was sad looking and falling apart. One strip of soggy bacon and wilted lettuce. Had a $3 taco salad that wasn't too bad but it cost $13. Not a bad view of the lake. Service was good enough. They have an all-you-can-eat wings special, but they'll bring you 4 wings every half hour. Overall an ok place but nothing to write home about. read more

I've only eaten here once. It was for a private party in the back room. There was a small buffet set up for us and I really wasn't expecting much but it was quite delicious. There was a waiter assigned to the space and she did a great job refilling drinks. read more

Ate here while on vacation in the area with my family. When we arrived the place was pretty quiet. Within about 15 minutes of our arrival, it filled up to about 3/4 capacity and the server, bar, and kitchen staff were clearly overrun. After initial drinks came out quickly, refills were obtained faster by walking to the bar ourselves. Half our order arrived while the rest came in stages 10-20 minutes later. 2 of us got the Wednesday night "all you can eat" wings, which were the last items to arrive. We immediately placed our refill order of wings and were told it'd be an hour and 10 minutes. With some impatient kids, we gave up on the refills. In the end, they took a few drinks and one of the wings off our bill. The server said they had multiple employees not show up. The food actually tastes decent and they have a great location with an outdoor area for kids to run around, but missing it that big on service during 4th of July week is an epic fail. Manager and owner nowhere to be found. I feel for the staff that was there - they deserve better. read more

Cute atmosphere, decent beachy type drinks. Could be a very fun place. However, service was extremely slow...(65 minutes at 6:00 pm on a Wednesday evening). Ordered a pulled pork sandwhich which was delicious but found a large bone in it. Kids meals were more expensive then many of the adult meals. Lobster roll tasted like fish, not lobster. Frisbee plates for kids is a great idea. Servers tried hard but couldn't keep up. read more
