Worst barber shop experience, clearly we will never go back. Definitely don't suggest to go there if you have kids, as Karrie ( first chair by the entrance) is rude, always talks back about her coworkers in their absence. Then she gets upset if you express concerns about her behavior. read more

Never have I seen such dedication and true spirit for providing a good quality service, support, and creating an overall climate of welcome to their patrons. I have had my hair cut from these women now since '05/'06-ish. I live in Aliso Viejo, and yes I choose to travel once a week or every two weeks to San Clemente to get a great cut, neck shave and wash. *Please tip them well, they deserve it. As mentioned by others, good rates, wonderful to talk to, and above all they stand by our service men and women as well as our Veterans. These ladies in my humble opinion are truly the 'riveters' much like Rosie herself. To me, they represent a small but awesome piece of what America is. Not only do they provide a good service, but again, they stand in support of Veterans and also pass on valuable information usable to those who we all owe the most to - our Veterans. I was privileged enough to have met Karrie around 8-9 years ago and since that time I have followed her from one shop to the next. She started cutting my son's hair when he was 18 months old and has gotten his haircut every two weeks for the last seven years. Karrie and the other barbers at Beach City are awesome and very personal. Every time I walk in I feel like part of the family and their personal touch to every haircut is what makes it the best. Whether you are in the military getting your weekly haircut or part of the community, trust me, this is the place to go. The new location is more open the their previous one and very clean. It is easily accessible from the main strip through San Clemente. I will be coming here for a long time to come. Thanks Karrie for being such a great friend and barber. I have been going to Beach Cities since Jun2016. Karrie (aka Sherrie) has been my #1 barber at that shop. I've had to get haircuts throughout these 3 years at different shops, but I've constantly come back to her for her to fix it. She takes the time to study my hair, and gives me the best haircut I can get at the time, without complaining, that I shouldn't have gone to a different barber to get a haircut. Then through the following haircuts she lets my hair grow the right way so I can finally have the haircut that I want. While in town I decided I needed a haircut. Beach Cities was awesome!! Katie did a great job and Shelly the owner stopped in while I was there. You can tell these ladies all have a passion for what they do and they love it. I felt like part of their family laughing and having a great time even though this was my 1st time there. The location is amazing especially for an out of towner since it's on the main strip in San Clemente. Parking was easy, the place was clean and bright!! We need a place like this in Sacramento. Beach Cities Barbershop is amazing honestly beung in the military and how strict we are with hair it's the only place I refer people too. I have been getting my hair cut for over a year here now and have always had an awesome experience. They do everything here as well including straight razor shave and they only charge you for the work they do so if you don't want to top cut they don't charge you for it plus you get a free hair wash after. It is also family friendly I bring my daughter with me every week and she loves it here as well. I definitely recommend trying Beach Cities Barbershop first if you are looking for a new place. read more
