I have my dentist for life. Or at least I will if Mike Gigliotti has a child who decided to join the practice. I've been going to Mike's dad, Frank Gigliotti since about 2004. I seriously recommend him every time someone even mentions teeth, even if their mention of teeth has nothing to do with a dental problem. From the very beginning Dr. F. Gigliotti along with my dental hygienist Mary Jane, instilled a sense of confidence. I made it through high school without ever having had a cavity, so when I was approaching 18 and the dentist I was seeing said my wisdom teeth had to come out and I had cavities I freaked out and avoided the dentist for a number of years. I went to Beach Dental on the recommendation of a friend, found out I was cavity free (way to flub that call other dentist) and while my wisdom teeth might have to come out some day (because apparently despite all my verbosity I have a small mouth with no room for wisdom teeth) they didn't need to come out right away. Six years later when three of my wisdom teeth slowly started to emerge Dr. F Gigliotti very gentially convinced me to at least go talk to the oral surgeon and see what he had to say, because my slow moving wisdom teeth had cavities and were putting my other teeth at risk. Not only did Dr. F. Gigilotti handle me and my nerves well but the surgeon he sent me too was great, best tag team dental care I could have asked for. Dr. M. Gigliotti has checked my teeth at cleanings a couple of times, and it is really great to know I don't have to worry about finding a dentist for the next 30 years. And Mary Jane is just the best. She seriously must take notes in my file about what we talk about each cleaning because she always remembers 6 months and how ever many patients later what was going on in my life. I've had to reschedule a number of appointments last minute because of work emergencies and they really could not have been more accommodating about rescheduling my appointment. Also, after many years of watching the level of grinding I'm inflicting on my teeth, thanks work, Dr. F. Gigliotti said it was finally time for me to bite the bullet, or the gooey tooth model stuff and get a bite guard. Having never worn braces or a retainer or the like, having something foreign in my mouth putting pressure on my teeth and in the way of my tongue (even though its a tiny little device) is very strange to me, but Dr. F. Gigliotti and staff have been amazing helping me make adjustment to the device. Even if I move out of Hampton Roads I will make the trip back just to keep the Gigliottis as my dentists. read more

A big thank you to all of you at the office today, I couldn't be more satisfied with the way I was treated, everyone that I encounter was a tremendous help. After Dr, Gigliotto reviewed my xrays, I was told that I needed a considerable amount of work done in my mouth, my mind immediately went into shut down until I could absorb this news. However, everyone was extremely helpful and supportive. He explained several options that could be possible for me. Jamie listened to my concerns and felt that an xray would be able to tell us what might be going on. If this concern had been ignored the results could have been far worse that what was found. I have been a patient of Dr. Gigliotti's for many, many years and I trust and honor his opinion when it comes to my teeth. Catherine was a tremendous help in giving me the proposed treatment plan and estimates of the work which needed to be done, she then introduced me to Elizabeth the financial/ insurance coordinator. I left the office feeling that all will be just fine, my dental needs will be taken care of. I have referred others to this Dental Practice and will continue to do so. This place is awesome! From the very first moment I walked in, I felt so welcomed. I had a lot of procedures done, that required a few days to Finish, but they got almost everything done by the time I needed them too. The assistant were amazing! & Dr. Barton is extremely nice & sweet & asked me how I was through out the entire procedure! I've seen a lot of dentists in my time and I have to say that this office was THE best experience I've ever had. I haven't had dental insurance in several years and I woke up one day in excruciating pain! A friend referred me to this office and the staff was empathetic and got me in right away. Everyone was friendly from the moment I walked in and I observed how the docs treated their staff with respect and ease which says a lot about the vibe of an office. Beach Dental is an exceptionally professional organization consisting of talented personnel. Dr. Arnaudin is a superb dentist who possesses a wonderful personality and upbeat demeanor. In fact, the entire staff displays the same personable attributes. I have been a patient at Beach Dental for several years, I was so pleased I took my children there too. I have had horrible dental expierences in the past with other offices, and was pleasently surprised with this office. I just read some negative Reviews here and could not believe what I was reading. Everyone in my family (including my 92 yr old Mother who passed away 2 yrs ago!), have been Patient's of Beach Dental for approximately 30 years now. I am an RN also, and very particular when recommending any Practice, whether Medical or Dental. Because I know how talented and caring every one of the Dentist's, Hygienist's and entire Office Staff (even Jen) are, I cannot imagine going anywhere else. I have had alot of dental work done at Beach Dental and have always had a great experience. They are on time, always whether its for a cleaning with the hygenist or a visit with the dentist, they are courteous, always ask you how you are doing and I have never experienced any pain. They have the up to date software that sends you appointment reminders and when you check out at the front desk the staff is very friendly and courteous. Love Beach Dental! Been going there since 2009 and I have enjoyed every minute. They fixed my teeth after US Navy Dental messed them up and now they are beautiful and healthy. This is our long time family dentist, and they have always provided excellent care. Their service is so good, our child has never been reluctant to go, and the one adult in our family who grew up hating to go to the dentist - now loves going - because they are very responsive to individual needs. Everything involved in a cleaning appt. is very satisfactory at Beach Dental Center. The only questionable item is the insertion antibiotic below the gumline. This procedure appears to be of marginal value, but has a high cost? Past procedures were only involved with deep cleaning any problem areas and attention to good hygiene in the mouth. read more
