I had my haircut and wanted to have some grey removal done here and whilst last time was good and only cost me $150 this time is a complete bloody train wreck and they have left me with greyer looking hair than when I walked in. Absolutely Furious and it cost me twice as much as last time being $300 for something I hate and am embarrassed to be seen in public with. Really unimpressed! Worst Salon in Miami. Avoid at all costs as they will ruin your hair, then to add insult to injury they will then rip you off. TERRIBLE. UPDATE: I wouldn't believe liars folks who post false information as I don't know anyone that would suffer an atrocious haircut and then go oh yeah let's go back again so they can screw it up a second time. Lol Nice try and also offering a credit to a tourist from Australia to return to a salon that ripped them off and ruined their hair on the off chance they ever return to Miaim is a hollow and empty promise. When you screw up someone's hair and don't deliver what was agreed and in this case paid for twice then you refund them with an apology. I have been trying to find Lymari since she cut my hair ten years ago. It was the best haircut I've ever had. I found her! She did it again. I cannot say enough about her talent. I have difficult hair, a big widows peak and a little fried from bad color jobs with other stylists. I'll never lose her again. A good haircut is life changing. I like to wash my hair and head out the door and she is the only stylist in my 50 years that cuts so well, I don't need to style it before I leave home!!! Hated to say it, but the truth about this salon is that there was nobody to even bother picking up the phone from customers calling to schedule an appointment. I can say that it all is just horrible customer service that needs to improve for better, more courteous, reliable, and considerate hair business! I was looking for someone with experience in short haircuts and some advice on color to change my style for something fun with a modern look. After reading good reviews online I decide to give it a try and the results were fantastic, I have a round face so I was not sure of going that short but Lymari did such an amazing job, the color was a perfect suggestion from her, I love it, everybody around me is so amaze about the new look, make me feel 10 years younger. I really dislike writing a bad review but when you spend over $1600 in 5 months time and the business owner won't stand behind her work...well, it then becomes necessary to warn other Yelpers. The first time I had my hair highlighted here, she did a great job and I was so excited to find this place and my new hair home. She was also color correcting an over processed highlight job from the last salon I had been to. The second visit went okay except she didn't allow my hair to complete processing on the top and it had several orange/bronze/brass spots where the bleach meets the root. They said it was because I must have moved while under the dryer...um no, it didn't fully process. The assistant was very kind and assured me it would never happen again and apologized with a bottle of purple shampoo. I used it to cut the orange/brass and my hair turned grey! They offered to touch up the brass spots but instead I opt'd to let it grow out and clean them up next highlight. The grey washed out and all ended up fine after a few weeks. The third visit was a full head highlight and for some reason there was a lot of root still showing - which hadn't happened the first two times. (See photos, in order of visits) Unfortunately, the top that got highlighted didn't have long enough time to process AGAIN, so more Leopard spots...knew she knew when she rinsed because she was trying to fix it at the rinse bowl with more bleach product. It didn't work. I was frustrated but nicely pointed out the brass spots and how much root was showing. I could tell right away she was not happy that I was calling her out on it. Of course the assistant offers to fix it in two weeks and it's agreed I would come back then. Paid full price just like the other times...and left. I get to the two week mark and decide on my own, to wait until the next visit to get the brass out and all taken care of. Message her to set an appointment in February and she responds with, "I think it's best we part ways"! Which I'm fine with because it sent me to the right person that knows what they're doing. Warning, this is not a long term hair care place. Or maybe it is, and she was just bored with me or she couldn't be bothered with my simple highlights... who knows. All I can say is, you've been warned. Don't call her out on any mistakes, otherwise she will be sending you off with a "Best of luck" salutation too!‍ read more

Went here because I was looking for a place that didn't do just normal plain Jane, boring everyday haircuts or colors, but was disappointed. I have a split dye and I just wanted my roots bleach since I had about 4 months grow out. I was getting my hair done regularly with a trusted stylist back home before moving to Miami and I had high hopes for service and turn out until they forced me to sign a form "just in case" I had really bad fall out or anything bad wouldn't turn out on them. Unfortunately bleached was over lapped and and left on for way too long, I had my split dye for a while before I let these ladies put their hands on it and I never had such a bad turn out OR fall out. I left with my hair being TWO completely different lengths by a long run and they didn't even give me a heads up about it. Went home and discovered it myself once my hair was dry. Honestly was a nightmare and I didn't feel fully respected or liked as a client spending good money. I also traveled a 30 min drive to this place TWICE for this service because I "booked the appointment wrong" and was told the first time that my hair fine, they just would've liked more time for the appointment and sent me on my way with my next appointment booked. read more

WARNING!!!!!! Never cheat on your hair stylist. I live in the Boca Raton area and have been to the Beach Hair Salon on many occasions to have Lymari cut and style my hair. I needed to get my hair cut prior to attending a wedding and was feeling lazy. I decided not to take the hour and fifteen minute drive to Miami and go to a local chain barber shop "specializing in men's hair cuts". I figured how hard can it be to give a man a hair cut. Well that turned out to be a mistake. The woman cutting my hair used a pair of clippers and simply ran the trimmer over my head. She basically gave me a crew cut. No shaping, blending or fading. She never even picked up a pair of scissors. She just set one number on the clipper and ran it over my head. After she took the first run with the clippers I almost jumped out the chair in panic asking her what the hell she was doing. She said she thought I wanted a "Florida Cut", whatever the hell that is. At that point, I had no choice but to let her finish what she started or leave the barber shop with a row of hair cut out of my head. For the next few weeks I walked around with a hat on my head. Some people can pull off short hair or a crew cut, but I am not one of them. I really looked bad. I called Lymari, and made an appointment with the hope that she could do something to help. I arrived at her salon, and took a seat in her chair. She picked up her scissors, (not clippers like so many hair stylist do today) and started to work her magic. It was quite challenging since my hair was still really short but she proceeded to blend, fade and shape my hair to my head. What she did made a huge difference. She told me that now that my hair was properly shaped my next hair cut would be exactly what I was looking for. I went back four weeks later and Lymari cut and styled my hair. Everything was properly layered, faded and blended and my hair was exactly the way I wanted it done. Lymari is not just another hair stylist. She truly has a gift and can work magic. I can tell you I will never bitch and complain about driving an hour and fifteen minutes to have her cut my hair again. Lymari is an artist and truly the best stylist I have ever been too.
