If you love the water, this is the place to be. If you enjoy watching boats, fishing and crabbing then you have found paradise. The area is inviting. They have 2 nice picnic tables that having coverings. There are Johnny on the spots that are kept clean and ample amount of trash cans for deposing your garbage at the end of the day. There is a boat ramp open to the public that has ramps on both sides. Both boaters and wave runners are welcome. There is designated signs for trailer parking. There is a restaurant that is on the water that from word of mouth is very good (maybe on our next adventure out there we will try). If your just looking for a nice breeze to catch while watching boats come in and out this is a great place. If you are fishing or crabbing make sure to check the tides. Incoming tides are always a better tide to try to catch some dinner. read more

Thinking about renting a jet ski for 1 hour at Beach Marine? Plan for a 3 hour experience and bring your patience and wallet! First off, their check-in paperwork process is absurd and takes at least 30 minutes (no exaggeration). Their state-of-the-art (not) computer program requires multiple re-entries of data, they requested my credit card 3 different times throughout the ordeal to swipe and photocopy and then write down the numbers in different places on different documents. They asked for my drivers license to photocopy and then never handed back, again manually entering my data on 3 different forms. We then went through 4 pages of rules and regulations one by one, all of this seemed pretty ridiculous given the fact that I had rented from them before and should have a lot of this stuff on file. I understand that they need to have the paperwork signed for liability purposes, but I've rented from other places and the paperwork only takes 5 minutes. Even though we were in the office for more than 30 minutes and we went over countless rules, policies, hourly prices and regulations, never did they mention that Gas is extra. Nowhere have I seen a jet-ski rental charge gas for a 1 hour rental! So imagine my surprise when after checking in we had to wait around for another 20 minutes while they gassed up the jet skis and calculated the extra $22 for each jetski for 1 hour of gas!! This is on top of the $95/hour fee they charge with is already sky-high. Mind you this is a mid-week - mid-afternoon rental and they would not budge on the price despite the fact that I'm a local, repeat customer that was bringing out-of-town guests to their business establishment. To top things off, they never returned our licenses, of course coming back wet, this was not top of mind. We got home and of course cannot find our licenses (my brother was flying home the next day, fortunately he had his passport) do you think that Beach Marine called us to let us know that they had our licenses? Nooooo of course not! In summary a terrible pre and post experience with these guys. Stay away if you can, but unfortunately there are few alternatives in the area. Gave them 2 stars since the Jet Skis worked and were fast, and we had a lot of fun regardless. But the entire experience could have been MUCH better. Gave this same feedback in person to the manager on staff, probably nothing has changed. read more

This place was great. It is a family owned marina and it shows with the friendly staff. Bryan the dock master was always out walking the docks helping people out and was just a friendly guy. The docks are nice, the facilities are nice, pricing was pretty reasonable, a good place to stop. We did get lucky and were in for their holiday party, Thanks everyone for the great service and great times in Jax Beach. read more

We've had our good and bad with Beach Marine however, they have us as customers for life. Can't say enough good about Chris. He sold us our very first boat and was very helpful and patient with our million-and-one questions. Morris in Service is the MAN. If it's broke, he'll fix it. My wife surprised me for my birthday with renting paddle boards. When we got on them she couldn't stand up and was very nervous. The staff saw her, helped her stand and then let us rent a wave runner instead when they realized she was having issues. Very patient helpful and understanding staff. Check out the detail reviews on Beach Marine. They are a bunch of disorganized, dishonest, crooks. They "lost" my trailer and their only solution is call your insurance company. Well first I called my attorney and we are suing their ass! This is apparently not the first time this type of thing happens. Dont trust them. read more

First notice this is the only review about the boat buying experience Let us tell you of the horrific experience we had after the purchase was complete from the dock to the front office.. After they get your money you better never let them ship your boat like we did. They stripped it , sent if filthy with a dead battery , alternator no lines or fenders and the boat PEOPLE refused to rectify those MINOR details... Thats just the beginning of our experience READ ON.................................................. The salesman bob,the salesmgr shae, and the gen. mgr all lied and sold me a boat a painted engine they said was new, trid to ship my boat with two dead batteries, a dead alternator after the salesman bob said it was just serviced and it was in mint condition!!!.after i put a deposit and preparing to ship it,they took all the dock lines, all the fenders and a spare prop and delivered it to me stripped. not a word from anyone there to have lines and fenders ready so when dropped in water would be able to drive it to my house. asked shae the sales mgr to please clean the boat ,buff the regal emblems and make sure everything was checked before delivery. surprise again!!!! nothing had been done!!! they lied about price of boat and a reduced price,engine was under 70 hrs,always serviced regularly etc!!!!! approximately 900.00 dollars later with more problems still pending and a cost to me,i tried to have them reimburse me a couple thousand for the 800.00 plus possibly a new alternator,the one they put in is defective and numerous other items needed to be replaced because it was an old engine with &)) hrs not the new one they told it had!!!!!!!!!!. well shae the sales mgr said under no circumstances will he ship two new gauges which at the time seemed to be the only problem left to fix. but for 60.00 dollars cost for them,he hung up on me! the next less than capable individual was the gen mgr lisa who said what would you like me to do to fix this prob. the boat engine shuts down at 20 miles an hour,sending false indicators to the gauges etc again!!!! now lisa said she would get back to me this was friday and three calls later on wed late afternoon she finally picked up and said unfortunately i researched everything and ther is nothing i can do!!!!!!. no gauges,no senders, no thermostat, water pump parts, new lines, fenders, cost of me footing the whole cost after they lied about everything!!!!!. you would think some one who is senior to these morons would try and do some badly needed customer care and service. no such thing. thats cool they are looking at numerous bad reviews which are all true!!!!, a possible story on their horrendous dealings and fraudulent sales dealings by one of the local tv stations and a nice law suit by me!!!! by far for all the cars,boats,homes,furniture etc that i have purchased never have have dealt with such an arrogant,unprofessional, deceitful group of employees ever!!!!!! read more

This review is for the marina at Beach Marine. We were there several days heading to keys.awhile back. This is the most expensive marina we've found on the East Coast. First of all, There are aluminum docks that scratched the boat - and no rubber moldings on the docks. The docks are aluminum framing with fiberglass panels. the panels are popping up causing tripping hazards to the point of being dangerous - the docks sway because they are anchored incorrectly and made of cheapest material can be found. They "claim" to have internet, but there is no wifi signal to be found anywhere. There is a tower, I guess that is their claim to wifi connection. Everything seems to be broken or in disrepair. Most Lights on the docks are out - the docks also slant because of the cheapness of material causing another hazard. There is no security - even the sign for "docks are for boaters" is broken and hanging to one side. The gym is laughable and dangerous as there is no upkeep. The sauna has a sign, reading "temporarily out of service", but hear has been there quite a while. The bathrooms are outdated and mens' shower closest to intercoastal side is nonworking. Boater's beware - problems with depth and docking which staff seems unknowledgable or just ignorant. If non-emergency - suggest going somewhere else. Too bad - only one of few marinas close to Jacksonville Beach. A family owned business - you would think would have more pride. read more
