I live the closest to the Jacksonville Beach Marina, so I arrived first. I gave an employee my friends name, and he told me which boat we were taking out and invited me to board. The boat was clean and well maintained with a patial canopy over the back half of the boat. There was also a radio with decent speakers. We headed out around 10 AM and came back about 3:30 PM. We could have stayed out later as long as the boat was returned by 7 PM. The boats performance was as expected, good, with no issues. There was a restroom at the marina as well as a bbq food truck. My experience was great! I'm considering looking into a membership. They also have boats at the St Augustine marina. So you have more than one option if you live in the Jacksonville area.

They can tell you anything you would need to know about fishing locally, and have great prices on bait. It can be a little hard to find, but you basically go over the ditch on Beach Blvd. and take a left at the first light. Drive past the sheet metal buildings and look for the Christmas lights on the left. There's about 4 parking spaces. It's hidden. You might not find as big of a selection as you would at a mega-sporting goods store, but the experience is way better here. Contacted Isle of Palms who reached out to Robert who indicated that he would contact me (HE NEVER DID) ....his story to Isle of Palms was that he told me he might not be able to do the job....WHICH HE NEVER DID! Buffet style food had warm bread, salad, asparagus, grilled zucchini and squash, rice pilaf, salmon and chicken marsala. Servers circulated before the meal with coconut shrimp, sweet and sour meatballs as well. The space is great, being outside was lovely- it was a perfect day. Outside patio has views of the golf course, waterways & marina. Inside the head table for the wedding party seemed so far away from the guest tables, with a dance floor between us and them. There was several jokes cracked about that throughout the night. Staff were on point- I had asked for butter for the warm rolls at dinner and they took care of our table first and then added butter to the buffet line- just a little missed detail that was fixed right away. The food was good for what it was, I know food at events can sometimes fall flat, but they did a pretty good job with timing to make sure everyone got hot food. John and I are about to add a patio outside and the patio at the country club had cement slab near the building and large paver stones beyond, extending the patio out. John asked what I thought about pavers and I said nope- we would have to worry about weeds eventually and uneven stones- because I was extra cautious when walking on that section of the patio in my high wedges. When I came later that day to pick it up, they had it ready...I paid and was on my way!
