I already had thin hair due to medication, so this was not gonna get better. I did not want to take expensive supplements or apply topicals. Short of traveling to Turkey and getting transplants, scalp micropigmentation (SMP) was starting to look feasible. Yelp and Google shows me LOTS of places cater to men. Just so happens I was getting my hair colored at Hi Lites salon, lamenting about my scalp, when Abbie (who gives a fabulous shampoo BTW) told me about 1 Point, so I booked a consult with Kristine. Kristine is a LOOOOOOVE. She's hella good at her craft, and super patient. My sessions were stretched out a few hours at a time because I could not sit still, and life happens. Plus, unlike men who basically have a blank canvas, I still have hair that she had to work around. When she's applying ink, know that different areas will trigger a range of sensations...tickle, pressure, pinprick. She was very knowledgeable, very kind, and so so talkative ! I appreciate that she was able to provide an example of what I should expect before starting with my results AND the pain . The process itself was super fast ! My brows were done in like 2-3 minutes and my shoulder was done in 5 ! Not gonna lie, it's very true when they say a tattoo removal hurts a lot more than the tattoo itself but Kristine made me so comfortable , it's worth it PLUS the pain is only bad for a couple minutes ! Attached is a pic she sent me of my brows before and immediately after . We yapped a lot so we didn't take pics of my shoulder before LOL ! I can't wait for my other sessions !

I had talked to him over the phone and required a deposit fee of $50 to hold our appointment date and part of the payment. We paid a total of $350 because mine was small and my boyfriend had a bigger one and he even got us big bottles of water to hydrate with. I was definitely happy with his tattoo. I liked the vibe inside. They played music and it was cool with ac inside. The parking however isn't all the great. I had to park in the back. It gets full fast. I highly recommend these guys. The guys were so awesome and had the best vibe about them. The shop was clean and nearly decorated. I'm from Sacramento and have gotten a lot of tattoos but this is one of the best places i've been to due to their excellent communication and great vibes! They have amazing artwork all over and the side of the building has unique mural that changes periodically. There are always so many cute art classes outside and the food here is amazing. I got a fresh fruit ice cream during my hours long tattoo and it was the perfect distraction for me during the tattoo. My tattoo is still a work in process but it's amazing. Lisa was my artist and all the other artists shine in their own styles. I loved that they make you feel so comfortable even though they're not all working on you and very encouraging. I want to get all my tattoos from here in the future!

Rates are two hundred dollars an hour but you only pay for the time used (minimum of 30 minutes, I believe). So, for instance, if your tattoo takes 45 minutes, your cost would be $150. 4. I requested a tiger for my arm as well as a redesign for another older tattoo that I had gotten from another artist that i was unhappy with. She did a phenomenal job on both projects and I am thrilled. The price per hour is normal for high end artists ($200+), and Ash has over 15 years experience. She specializes in traditional designs (bold will hold), but it's worth it to have a conversation with her about any design first, as she's super easy to communicate with and flexible - very polite and professional overall. She accepts multiple forms of payment. Parking is mainly coin meter spots so just bring a bag of quarters (roughly $5 for full day).
