Hot Tub Filter - Water Slim

SWIPE LEFT - Reviewing 2441 Sandfiddler Rd, Vacation rentals has become a thing for me. I always leave home with high hopes as the photos, provided online are so wonderful - the expectation is that when you get to the weekly rental (6300+ for 1 week) that it will be clean and beautiful. Here is the good part - 2441 Sandfiddler (Beach Pros) is spacious with 3 floors, allows for privacy for family and open areas for fun. There is Plenty of parking. The Rental is directly - Across from the beach access - with clean empty beach. Dogs are welcome but the pet fee is high. The fence yard, gives the pets or kids someplace enclosed - but there are issues with the yard. The good news is that Beach Pros Reality was very responsive. Most of the issues we found were corrected and therefore the next family will be very happy! Now for the Bad Part: We rented a house that sleeps 24 and we are only 5 people - so we could have beach access, hot tub and swimming pool. So, let's start with clean: there is my standard of clean and then there is what the house actually looks like. In this case - the home was swept and appeared clean - but then let's look a bit deeper. Stove was filthy (inside) - here are photos to show what Beach Pros realty approves as clean is just a basic wipe off. Then the fly in the fridge, the filters for the AC return and the general appearance of outside (see photos). Yard has hazards and really no appeal (photos are misleading) The house has huge, vaulted ceilings and one of outdoor AC was not working. The AC until was working overtime to cool the huge space - it struggled and was not really successful mid-day in May - can't imagine what July would be like. I called Beach Pros the minute we arrived and was told that was normal and to just lower temp on the main unit. The man insisted that I did not really have a problem. We suffered with the heat until we walked into the Beach Pro Monday morning, and I told them the compressor unit outside was not running. They sent a AC Man right away. Let's now go to the amenities - hot tub with hot water full of sands and pool that you cannot see the bottom makes you wonder if you should actually get in. Our guests feared about getting in. In fact, the lady's stated that they might get a urinary track disease or worse. What made it worse was the Pool Guy insulting our intelligence by 1. blaming it all on the family prior to our arrival 2. telling us it was food dropped in the hot tub. I download the operation manuals of the pool and hot tube - it was neither of those things and it was clear the Pool Guy was not changing filters, running back wash or maintaining the equipment properly. This is a water mold - due to improper maintenance and no one changing the filters. Shocking the hot tub will not fix this! The horrifying part of the entire event was the Pool Guy attempting to clean the filter (See Filter Slime images) throwing the slime on the ground. I told him he need to buy a new filter and he needed to clean that crap up - we have dogs. Again - what is clean. Can't see the bottom and wonder if there is something growing in it. I did not use the pool or the Hot tub - which we paid extra for and pointed out to Beach Pros - only 5 people rented this home that sleeps 24. How about these barbeque grills - rust for lunch anyone? Good news they got new grill the day we complained!! Furnishings are very used old items that the goodwill would not take if donated - the sofas are old and tired support, no springs, uncomfortable. The grounds (see before and actuals) Outside - dead grass, broke pavers, decks with nails and warped splinted wood boards, melted siding and weeds. Decks: beware do not go barefoot Screw heads stick up, board are trip hazards. Not exactly what is expected for $6300 dollars! Our trip had issues that we needed to point out. Beach Pros - did send pool guy, AC Guy and 2 New Grills! However, they did not compensate us for the day we spent making sure the Maintenance people did their jobs, or the fact we could not use the Hot Tub or Pool.

Customer service is nonexistent. Many realty companies out there, definitely work with someone else.

I've used this company for 10 years, to manage my property. With numerous tenants, home repairs and…read moremultiple demands from me, they've always come through. I'm active duty, and needed someone to be on top of the necessary things that I just don't have the time to do, and the staff does just that. The rates are normal, the responsiveness has always been good. Throw them the keys and they'll take care of it.

Absolutely and I do mean ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RENT THROUGH THIS REALTY COMPANY. They are complete…read moretrash. They took $450 out of my security deposit for yard maintenance and sent pictures of some branches in the yard, THAT WAS THE REASON FOR THAT. I'll attach the images they sent me as to why they're charging me. They don't do damage addendums so they can and will charge you whatever they seem fit after move out for any reason they want to just to keep your money. But that's just moving out. When I first moved in I spent weeks and I means weeks cleaning and taking care of a yard that was filled with trash, broken glass, pieces of the house exterior molding and siding, logs and branches and plies of dirt and leaves. I was living there in the time frame of only a SINGLE year the sewage pipe burst underneath the house and that took them about a week to come out look at and fix. The basement flooded because the hot water heater burst which took them about a week to replace and fix but when that burst it took out the HVAC system so no heat, and yes this was the middle of December the heat took them a good AT LEAST month before they did anything. They did bring two crappy oil space heaters which did absolutely nothing in the two story, three bedroom all hard wood house I was living in which also had an attic, basement and attached garage that was bringing in cold air. When I moved in I complained the house wasn't properly sealed and bugs and breeze and dirt where coming in they sent somebody out to fix it that did a half ass job that wasn't even worth it because I was still dealing with the problem. A tree feel on the house during a big storm that took the a couple days before anybody would remove it then a couple more days before they removed it from the yard. Also when I moved in the refrigerator didn't work took them not that long to replace that one. But that one stopped working on me also and the time frame for them to replace that one was at least about a month so I had to clean the mold filled refrigerator in the garage that was that way when I moved in to be able to keep cold food for the house. I also complained about the smell of mold coming from the vent system which they did absolutely nothing about. All in all this realty company is absolutely trash and they do not care about their residents one bit. They just want your money and for you to suffer.

I have a love hate relationship with this apartment complex…read more It's in a great neighborhood and around some really awesome eateries. However, if you live in the back half of the apartment community prepare to be forgotten. Lights go out and stay out for weeks, even if reported. Our building was dirty and had algae growing on it all Spring and Summer. The buildings at the front got cleaned, but we had to look at dirty siding with algae the entire season/s. It was embarrassing to have people come over to visit with the building looking so bad. I ended up sweeping down three flights of stairs, because the hair from peoples dogs (I dont own a pet), gum wrapers, etc., became too much to keep dealing with everyday. Their leasing office is closed on weekends...so don't have a backed up kitchen sink. It's not considered an emergency. I had to deal with stinky water in my sink the entire weekend. I suddenly started getting roaches after living here a year and a half. When I complained the office got right on it and had someone here the next day, but when it comes to other things...this apartment community needs to up their game. BTW...the lights outside are still out (at least three and its been weeks, which means parts of the complex...the back half....is in darkness and not safe). Would I move here again? Probably. I love being so close to everything and over all its a great apartment complex, but only if I could move into one of the front buildings.

Biggest disappointment is there is no recycling program. The apartments are nice: pros are high ceilings and large windows; cons are can hear everything upstairs neighbors are doing, and cabinet finish peels off. Compared to the other apartments in the area, this one is average in cost, construction, and property.
