I called Deanne to come to my home to notarize a POA and Medical directive forms for my mother. She answered right away and was friendly, professional and asked good questions. My mother had suffered a traumatic brain injury in July and I wanted to get all of her affairs in order. Deanne asked if my Mom was cognizant of what was going on and if she had the ability to sign for herself. I said yes and was impressed that Deanne assessed the situation before she even showed up. I had tried to get this done a couple times before with a different mobile notary who charged me $75 a pop (even though my Mom was unable to sign) and never once mentioned that maybe we should wait until my Mom had the ability to do so. The fact that Deanne asked me this first before showing up made me believe she had a better code of ethics. That said, she showed up on time and was so polite and nice. She engaged in conversation first before getting to business. Mind you, she had had her notary book and stamp stolen out of her car the day before along with other things and still showed up on time and had a good attitude! We were able to get everything done. What a relief. We just have to wait for Deanne to get her new notary stamp to finalize the documents. Deanna said she would come back at no charge to us to stamp the POA and Med Directive.
