On my way to my scheduled appointment I was caught behind an accident in Charlevoix so as a courtesy to the dentist I called to let them know that I may be up to 2 minutes late. I was placed on hold for a second and another female took the call and told me that my appointment had been canceled because she could not confirm my appointment that I had made a year earlier. I told her that I was close to their office and I would prove to her that I had not received a message from her. She was insisting she had but no record of her call could be found. Fifteen minutes early I arrived. I explained that regardless of her inability to reach me, should make no difference as I made an appointment and I was here for that appointment. I explained that them overbooking should not make me accountable for all the people that shirked their appointments. That's not my style, if anything I'm overly curious. I don't often complain on the media but gasoline has gotten expensive as we all know. I sat and waited for a spot to open and shifted my schedule around to accommodate them, while they whispered to one another in regards to the part they played. Dr. Hall was insightful and professional with respect to how she practiced, giving me a tour of the office and equipment (she's new in the area) before we even started. That said, she replaced one filling that fell out years ago, repaired another that broke in half literally ten minutes after I made the initial appointment (that was just plain weird!) and a third that needed some basic restructuring. She worked on all three that day taking roughly an hour to finish. It's been a few days now and the surgery seems to have gone very well. I have zero complaints and that comes from someone normally quite fearful of the dentist. I highly recommend her! She's new to the area professionally speaking and (as of right now) will probably see you on short notice if you really need to get in. She does normally specialize in pediatric dentistry but my inner child is very happy with the work done thus far.

I have been to Dr. Larson/Parkview for checkups, cleanings, fillings, bite guards, etc. and I can say she is a great dentist in all regards. Her team is also very competent, considerate and caring in all situations. And her costs are fair and the front desk always makes sure I get the best price based on my insurance. As someone who appreciates excellence and value in the doctors they use, I can say Dr. Larson is an excellent dentist and her team delivers great value every time I visit. I would not hesitate to use Parkview if you are looking for a similar experience.

Upon landing I immediately tried to find a dentist to help me but being July the first four I contacted were on vacation! Through a recommendation I called Dr. Whitcomb's office and what a blessing that was. His staff is absolutely wonderful and gave me an appointment right away. They were very sympathetic to my dilemma and so kind when I arrived at the office. Dr. Whitcomb was outstanding to say the least and did a fantastic job repairing my tooth. I actually had another situation the next month with another tooth and both Dr. Whitcomb and his staff graciously took care of me right away. I am deeply grateful to all of them and plan to go back to Dr. Whitcomb this summer when I return to Petoskey for some more consultation on further treatments. They are the BEST!!!
