Dr. Z recently took an X-ray and saw something that bothered him. He made me aware and asked me to see a cardiologist. After review, Plaque was found in my Carotid Artery. I'm going to try not to cry writing this. If I could give Beacon Dental Hospital a 10,000/10, I truly would. From start to finish, they were so professional, polite, and uplifting. You feel like you're their child and they're the caring parent, making sure you're safe and well taken care of. All of the doctors are incredibly friendly, and you can ask them a million questions -- they answer everything with facts, patience, and genuine care. I actually found this facility at 2:20 am in the morning while talking to ChatGPT, and they were my first choice. I left a voicemail at 2:38 am crying, and first thing in the morning Clarissa called me and told me to come in. I was nervous, but I was truly taken care of. Dr. Z was so informative and did not rush me at all. I think the office closes at 7, and still nobody rushed me. The environment was peaceful and calming. I've had traumatizing dental experiences both as a child and as an adult -- and now I'm honestly excited to become a regular patient. It's rare to meet people who genuinely love their jobs. I had my tooth extracted and I'm sitting here hours later writing this review. Dr. Beacon is passionate about people and truly wants what's best for them. He told me, "We're happy to help remove the tooth, but we could have prevented this earlier," and I appreciated the honesty -- always delivered respectfully. I've already told three people they NEED to come here. Dr. Anna was so polite and friendly. Everyone plays their role so well, and the patient is clearly the priority. I've never experienced anything like this. At a hospital ER, you wait for hours -- here, I was in and out. Dr Zamarra and Dr Little are very skilled dentists who have seen my family of 5 for years. I have a lot of questions and they are always willing to take the time to explain things to me. They are gentle and cheerful and none of my children have anxiety when it is time to visit the dentist. Dr Zamarra even helped me diagnose a problem I had with my spine based on my pattern of tooth grinding, and he referred me to another doctor who helped treat it. The clinic itself is beautiful. Flowers blooming in the garden from spring to fall. Multiple bird feeders so patients can look at birds and squirrels feeding while having their teeth done. It is nice to have some distraction. Dr. Z is hands down the best dentist I have ever seen! He takes such great care of his patients, and addresses every issue with precision and perfection. I have very sensitive teeth and have a series of problems with my bite, jaw, and tooth pain. Through a multi pronged approach, he has fixed many of these problems and I feel a remarkable improvement. Unlike other dentists that just treat the symptom through traditional techniques, he goes to the underlying source of the problem and fixes that first, setting up the patients for long term dental health and no pain. This has been such a great experience as a dental patient. Never a long office wait. I'm checked in and seated in the dentist chair promptly. The staff is incredible. Everyone works quickly and is very friendly. Dr. Zamarra is the absolute best. He is truly an artist with the wonderful bedside manner. While you are in his chair your health and comfort are clearly his priority. I got a bit of a chill while he was replacing a crown and before I could complain he had his assistant wrap a clean blanket over me. I've treated with Dr.Zamarra for about 3 years. I came to give with serious dental issues, needing implants and severe pain from my bite being off since I was missing some teeth. Dr.Zamarra has done 6 implants, had adjusted my bite and finally after more than 5 years of being in pain and having dentist tell me they couldn't help, I am finally pain free. He is a true professional, incredibly knowledgeable and with his patient's best interest at heart. I had extensive work done at this group over 5 years ago and even though the work looked fine for the first few years, I now have problems with every tooth he worked on. In Michigan, where I am now, the specialists I'm now seeing said every one of the crowns are in some stage of failing. Some may be caused by minor receding gums, but he thinks the crowns were not done right. The crowns were done with metal backing even though I paid a tremendous amount for the work. Full ceramic crowns were commonplace when I had mine done and metal should not be used for front teeth. It's difficult to really evaluate a dentists work unless you wait years to see if it holds up. In my case all Dr. Zamara's work has failed and most, if not all, has to be redone. I would suggest that if you need extensive work done, seek out another dentist. read more
