Beacon RV Home away from Home to me. The folks that run this place are amazing, helping with what they can and any way they can. We've been traveling for 3 years, I'll always come back, I've never found a park that provides what's important like Beacon! Never had issues with loud, inappropriate people. Shopping, restaurants, close by. They do watch over their park, with working cameras, I've always felt very safe. As we all know crime is everywhere these days, they do their part on security and do work with law enforcement. I refer anyone I know coming through St Joe and I'll always check here first!! I really love the Trunk or Treat they have I believe 3rd annual this year. And them cookies the girls make!! The family that runs the park are like a big over the road family to me, to a lot of Rvr's, they do make you feel at HOME. It may be close to the highway but the park itself is nice and quiet, the noise ordinance is followed. Never had issues with loud or inappropriate people. Warning to Future Residents - Serious Security & Management Issues I strongly advise anyone considering Beacon RV Park to think twice. My experience here has been nothing short of a nightmare due to security failures, mismanagement, and unethical behavior from park staff. Surveillance Cameras Are Useless - The park claims to have security cameras, but they are turned off at management's discretion. When residents request footage after break-ins or incidents, management refuses to provide it. Rampant Crime & Zero Accountability - My RV was burglarized while my vehicle was in the driveway, meaning someone within the park likely targeted me. Management was the only party aware that I would be gone for a brief 3-hour window. Several other residents have also had their vehicles broken into, and each time, management has denied access to surveillance footage. Flooding & Property Damage - Poor sewer drainage caused my car to flood, resulting in $4,000 in damages. The park takes no responsibility for maintaining proper drainage. Retaliation & False Eviction - I received an eviction notice under the claim that I was "harassing neighbors," despite the fact that I had not left my home for two months due to injuries from a fall on ice in my driveway. Management frequently threatens to evict residents, creating an environment of fear and instability. Highly Inappropriate Conduct from Staff - The maintenance manager sent me explicit pornographic images of himself, which is beyond unacceptable. This park is unsafe, poorly managed, and a financial and emotional drain. If you value your security, privacy, and peace of mind, stay far away from Beacon RV Park. Not to mention, when I used my credit card to pay for propane, the very next day my credit card would have fraudulent charges committed. Beacon RV Park was the only place I had used my credit card within those timeframes. My credit card company had to replace my credit card 3x. 2 , My son was there 2 months , had a few diff handicaps ,one being his hearing, he doesnt hear high pitched tones, so he talks very loud and doesnt alway hear what was said to him or in the right words, he doe use some bad language/ words , he had come off Disability( from his Hearing and reading) to get a job so setting him up in this park has been a night mare for me , i asked for the owners name and number from Utah and they refused to give it to me, my son had made a bad statement to the owner Sage when he had come up behind his camper, not knowing him or seeing him before , hr asked what the F .. was he doing up by the back of his camper, my son not really hearing what he said , the reason he responded this way he had a note in his door saying there had been people coming in the park at night trying to break in to cars and looking through stuff and to keep your stuff locked and watch out for people looking through your stuff, so when my son seen yhis man he didnt know up close to the back of his camper he of coarse wasnt nice in questioning him, not ever seeing yhe owner before , but we was told the owner after seeing my son this one time said he had to go, i dont know if the owner Sage knew he had this handicap of hearing and speech , but he was protecting his property, and a few other this also happened , light the big pile light shining in his camper door hitting his tv screen, and he was upset when they told him to to just cover your window , in his mind he didnt want his camper to look rough , in his words like a crackheads camper, my son has been clean for almost 3 yrs other than a card for weed for pain, and to him thats what it would of looked like, he hads blinds on all his windows that was his thoughts not putting foil in them, and a few more little things, he did say he was sorry to ine of the neighbors and they was fune along with a few other neighbors i talked to that said he hadnt done anything that they thought was wrong , when some of thei other neighbors was up all night known drug use, van stolen frim same home , other neighbor playing music loud late, and you hear cuss word just from sitting outside, i even heard it myself , my son did measure someones deck late at night cause he had asked if he could build one and was wanting measurements and he should of asked first i agree with that, but he wasnt up all night , rent paid on time with his financial person, but he got NO WRITTEN WARNING, he signed the papers to tent month to month but his reading is only 6/7 reading , that part of his disability with hearingloss and speech is always slurred , mow he has to be gone today or i was told his camper would be towed , ive tried tontalke with the managers and got nowhere wouldnt give me Owners phone number to try to explain, this lot was close to me so i could take And help him , i feel like he deserved a second chance since his disabilities ment nothing to them , i would like a call back from owner to me this was so unfair , oh and the daughter in law that help at park she threatened to call police in me if indidnt leave yhem trying yo talk to jer and exsplain and i asked for owner number and she flat out said no im not giving that to you, i did tell her id be talking yo my attorney and disability people cause so unfair , he deserved a warning because he dont hear And hears also hear wrong what was said , but nithing i disnt jear talk like from others in park , now i have to move him tonight Thursday at 6pm or he will be towed, id like the owner to call me 8163831103, i fewl this is so wrong and unfair but they also told me you , Sage or new owner said he had to go, im a nurse at the hospital, and i wont let my son be discriminated against , he has qualified for occular implants for both ears, if he choses to get them that how bad his hearing is, , if he was fighting or something that would of been diff but he wasnts and other neighbors dont think its right either, guess we will see if the owner cares, thankyou! Mow we are having to move his camper 20 min away from town , so he will have no close help , if he would of done something to really deserve this i would understand, but he didnt he was asking why someone was behind his camper and used some bad words while talking , that everyone around his camper uses! One of the worst parks I've ever stayed in, not to mention most expensive of all on this trip so far. Site was a swamp. Cars parked everywhere, difficult to maneuver through the park in and out of the site. Sewer hookup wasn't deep enough to hold the hose properly. Neighbors dog crap was all over. read more

Rv park Little on the rough side. The pads are cracked and Uneven broke my foot 2nd day here. Urgent care is sending me a bill no telling how much this place cost me in lost wages from missing work to not being able to work. Oh yes and my new Dr Bills. read more

For approx the last year, I was on the hunt for a new R-Pod trailer. Shopping both by visiting dealers and checking the websites, I came across Beacon RV. I called and spoke with Glen, a very sincere and straightforward guy. I felt very comfortable in my dealings with Glen both over phone and via email. His responses were timely and accurate. So, I committed to buy. When I showed up to pick up my trailer, the paperwork was handled professionally and again, with the kindness and easiness that started with Glen; thanks Karen! I did have one snafu, that would be when we connected my truck with the trailer. Turns out my 7-pin connector was a bit on the older side. With assistance from one of their employees, Travis, we replaced the connector. No easy feat considering it was somewhere around 10 degrees outside. So very sorry we 'wasted' our day trusting someone we shouldn't have. Drove 13 hours to purchase a visibly damaged unit, which he claimed to have never noticed ( the damage). Did I mention that it had been sitting in his lot for an entire year? All he had to say was "sorry guys". read more

We travel in a 40' MH w/tow. Our experience was straight out of RV hell. The office sits down hill below a very busy highway making arrival hazardous. Not being able to see a pickup sticking out, I thought I could creep by the 18-wheeler loaded with small RVs. I couldn't nor could I backup with the tow. A permanently (?) parked work trailer was blocking the other side. The attendant was more concerned about verifying our reservation than getting us off the hwy. Trying to get the attendant to focus on the real emergency, my wife must have emphatically insisted on help because the owner (?) arrived later and launched a verbal attack. When my wife left the office to tell me we didn't have a reservation (we did) and help would be delayed, she found the truck driver and he moved his rig. I cleared the hwy and waited for Linda to resolve the reservation issue & get a space. I parked the rig, my wife was talking with the attendant, and I was checking hookups. The women are apologizing to each other. The owner arrives and launches into a verbal attack repeating "No one talks to my people that way!" We are confused. He should be apologizing rather than attacking. He never says or repeats what has caused his aggression. If he had only closed his mouth and opened his ears. Why the need to "protect" a female employee? A guess; he was told someone was "yelling" about reservations and saw an opportunity to score points defending the honor of a woman half his age from a woman twice her age. Pertinent things from 38 reviews found on RV Park Reviews: the busy street/hwy is mentioned 26% of the time; 13% was concerned enough about the hill to mention it & 26% mentioned difficulty getting around; one accident was reported between a big rig entering and a truck; a whopping 66% mentioned parking on the road, L-T residents, or crowded spaces; over 1/4 said "No!" to staying again & one said they left to stay at Walmart, and one said "I would drive three hours to avoid this park!" read more
