No No No- I just discovered something even worse then putting glitter into a greeting card and opening it! Yes these labels were so that the 3 bags of rose petals I purchased at full retail price (no price discount or even free shipping for a $400 order) were left with truly disgusting labels still on. I opened a box with beads completely covered in white and yellow plastic shreds of old labels!! Who sells and sends to a customer labels that disintegrates even without being touched? I mean while you were packing it must have dawned on you that these bead labels looked bad (like really really bad - yellowing and peeling). So no I don't recommend this small bead shop - I have purchased from hundreds of Etsy Shops and bead shops across the US. And never ever have I encountered such a complete disregard for selling an item(s) that were covered in crap. It is old disgusting labels remove them for goodness sake's before you send to the customer who paid top dollar. No excuses! For full price beads go somewhere else. We used to come here quite a bit a few years ago. They used to have a wide selection of crystals but I believe it is now mostly beads. We were lookingn at some pieces in the glass and the prices were a bit pricey considering I have purchased a lot of the same crystals for half of the price. Some of the beads were pretty fair price if you are coming in for beads. I was just a little dissapointed with the price of the crystals. I have a pretty large collection of crystals so I am familiar with the pricing. However, I do realize that everything in the shops nearby can be a little pricey too especially because it is a very high tourist spot. I am assuming the rent for the shop is high so the prices reflect that. Overall, it is a nice store to look around and we were greated when we walked in. read more

I usually love coming to bead haven every year around my birthday. This year I visited July 2nd, and brought a close friend with me. We browsed the jewelry and couldn't help but notice a older blonde woman that was working the counter. Was following us around and staring at us the entire time. She leaned and whispered to her co worker and continued to stare. I found a cute silver necklace and proceeded to browse with it in tow, when the same woman approached us asking if I was going to purchase the necklace. Needless to say me and my friend both felt extremely uncomfortable and profiled. I've never had an experience like this at Bead haven and I will never give my money to this place, and will recommend to people, freinds and family, not to come here either. The silver necklace I bought Litterally broke not even 5 hours after purchase but I really didn't think the 30$ was worth the degrading hassle. After reading some of the other reviews, it seems the cunt was actually the owner and now I regret ever giving this shit hole money. read more

This store is a bead heaven for jewelry makers and enthusiasts! It is an absolute paradise of every bead and charm imaginable. We actually came here twice in the last couple of months to purchase items. I love how much space they are able to dedicate to the largest variety of beads I have ever seen outside a jewelry show/ convention. I do not know of any other store near me that offers such a variety of jewelry making kits and supplies, including the crafting stores we frequent. I also love how they use mini muffin pans with pricing for you to store your beads while you are shopping. It makes the process easy and convenient. Plus it makes it easy to track how much you are spending. My daughter recently got into making earrings, and I told her to go crazy. She found so many cute charms for herself and her friends, and I do not think we even spent $20 the last week since the prices are so reasonable. I also like their already made jewelry and crystals. I believe the time before this my daughter picked out some fun earring to purchase on top of our bead haul. Besides enjoying their selection, the employees here are wonderful. They go out of their way to circulate around the store and make sure all customers have what they need, and are very proficient at moving the long line at the cash register moving, Both times we came here Frankenmuth was very crowded, and so was the store, so I did not that even with the line, no one had to wait too long to check out. read more

Beatiful bead store - largest that I've personally seen. Beautifully decorated with great displays and lots of room, it makes you want to wander around and touch all the beautiful beads they have. There was so much selection it was almost overwhelming - how do you decide? They had a wonderful big round table that must seat at least 12 people (maybe 14?) comfortably where they seem to teach classes and people hang out and bead together. (Make sure you look at the display case in there where someone - who? - show cases their work - gorgeous.) Prices were average from what I've seen - though I'm not an active beader, so I'm not neccessarily up on current pricing. Loved it. Would I recommend? Yes. Would I return. Yes! read more

We stopped in here with my daughter and some friends so they could make a necklace. The only reason I gave it four stars is because the lady working the counter looked annoyed at our presence. Which I had already heard earlier when my mother brought another child that day. I thought for sure I could change this woman's attitude by my well behaved kids and my nice personality. I was slightly wrong. The man working the store full of tattoos was awesome. He was also extremely helpful. There is a large variety of beads that you can buy their the most expensive one being an antique bead worth $400. But since I was paying for three girls I was not going to let them just have a free-for-all. I knew from past experience that you could make it so you could spend five dollars and have a nice necklace or bracelet to go home with. But they were not willing to offer that information to me without me asking. So I will explain it to you so you know before you go in. There is a side room to the left when you walk in to the place you go down some steps and there's an area with a couple of tables that you can work on. There is a small basket I'm one of the tables sometimes two or three baskets that are full of a variety of very beautiful beads. You can fill a small container full of beads for only $2.95. Then behind there is some wire with clasp hook up and everything. They come in several different colors and they're only two dollars. I had to ask for a place to set the beads to make the necklace. They have these wonderful trays but they are not out you have to ask to get them out to use them. You can place the beads on the trays in the correct order that you want your necklace or your bracelet to be. Then you simply string them on. When that is done go tell them and they will finish it off and there you have your bracelet or necklace for five dollars. Enjoy read more

This store unlike its neighbor "Enchanted Fantasy" should be the one with the title of crystal shop, not enchanted. Enchanted has nothing crystal related at all and is a disappointment. I wandered into Bead Haven and am so glad I did. I left with some beautiful stone/crystal pieces for a fairly reasonable price in comparison to the shops south of here by me, and I am happy with the quality of them. They had a good variety to pick from even as beads, and I am a happy camper. I totally will recommend this store to my friends who collect crystals for metaphysical use! I've been going to this place every Oct with my husband for my Anniversary for the last 9yrs! Loved it spend $60-300 a pop walking out of this place. Jason was very pleasant every time we visited. However yesterday was worst existence ever! The owner was extremely rude made my 15yr old daughter & I were very uncomfortable. She was giving us dirty looks watching us like we were doing something wrong when I was talking to employee & shopping. I asked to see a sphere that was wasn't priced when employee asked how much she came over held in her hand & just glared at me with an unpleasant look on her face while I had another one in my hand, she said how much is that one I said $130 she said this one's $200 she said you want it. I said I'll think about it if it screams my name we'll see . Employee continued to assist my looking in cases not long later I was told the owner doesn't want me to talk to you she thinks you're not going to buy anything! I said excuse me WTH I come here every Oct spend a shit load of money here! He apologized I was pissed and tried to finish shopping. We had $60 in our hands already! I will NEVER RETURN TO SHOP BECAUSE OF THE owners rude unfriendly manor. P.S. they are over priced on many items a tumble cost $5 even if the size of a dime! read more

This is a lovely store with a fantastic selection of beads. They have a large selection of seed beads as well as other charms, lampwork, and larger beads. And of course a good selection of Swarovski crystals. Add in beads from around the world, current magazines, books, kits and findings and they are a terrific store. I have found the staff extremely helpful, and always friendly. They are located in a delightful collection of stores. After quarantine and when things opened back up I spent a considerable amount of money to support a local small business in this crazy time! But today I have to say I definitely didn't appreciate the way I was spoken too or the attitude I received! Honestly I get we are all on edge...I'm a small business owner as well but I wouldn't want to loose business right now! We are all suffering. During a recent visit, no one greeted me, when I asked for help, I felt like I was an interruption and instead of purchasing about $100 in silver and other findings, I left empty handed and sad actually. I was totally disappointed. I went to Frankenmuth on a weekend trip. My friends and I decided to make a necklace. We didnt know much about the beads and needed some help. After talking to the salesperson we found out she was not able or willing to help us with making the necklaces. She suggested going to her bead class. We could not do that since we are tourists. We did not expect anything elaborate but wanted help with our selections. Sadly we just left the store. The beads are very pretty but the store does not cater to a tourist or to someone who doesnt know how to make a necklace. read more

A friend and avid beader brought me to bead haven to get supplies for my first bracelet project about a month ago. I'm colored blind and needed lots of help with matching things. The entire staff was very patient and helpful. I've visited 3 times, taken 1 free class, spent $400 and made 13 projects! That's about $30 a project. All, but 3 of these have been gifts! Pretty reasonable average for some very nice gifts that have been well received. And, I have beads left over for future projects! I will be back! read more

I came to this store with a goal, to duplicate a bracelet made for me by a great friend 15 years ago. I handed the bracelet over to Kathy and she went to work! With help from Trish and another kind woman whose name escapes me, they found all the beads and baubles needed, and for a small fee assembled the bracelet. Beautiful. The ladies were so friendly and were laughing and did not seem put off or inconvenienced in any way. This was no small task, while still taking care of other customers as well. This place has a large assortment of beads in this little bavarian town. While I am not necessarily a huge fan of bead shops in general, my wife loves them and I usually help her pick out stuff for her creations. She really enjoyed her time here, but it was a bit on the pricey side, but I think part of that was her fault in the chain she bought, toggle, and silver charm. Bead Haven has a nice selection and reasonable prices. It's a huge store so you will most likely find that certain bead or item you are looking for, plus unique and interesting things you can't get anywhere else. However, the atmosphere is extremely unfriendly. If you are under the age of 30, you WILL be followed or at least watched from a short distance by employees to ensure that you don't steal. In addition, they have signs plastered all over the store that say "Smile, you're on camera!" and "We prosecute to the fullest extent of the law." Employees do not smile or thank you for visiting the store. If you need help or are just waiting in line to be checked out, they help you at THEIR convenience. I don't go in here except when I'm looking for something very specific that I know I can't find at any other craft store, for that reason. If you don't mind being treated like a felon, Bead Haven just might be the store for you. Happily, Riverplace in Frankenmuth has a number of other great shops so there are lots of other things to do. read more

On 8-4-2015 at 1:56pm, we were rung up by Angie (manager of store) she did not greet us on either transaction nor did she thank us for shopping, in actuality she spoke very little to either of us during our visit except to tell me that she was the manager when I asked for one and then when I asked about the owner I was told that the owner is her Aunt. The first transaction was receipt number 321532 which was under your amount for purchase with a card. as the customer is from Missouri she did not know this and was rudely told to read the sign. I gave her the cash to proceed with her purchase. the second transaction was 321533 when I said something to her about saying hello to me she rolled her eyes in disgust and proceeded to ignore me. that is when I asked to speak with a manager and was told that she was the manager. I then said I guess you're also the owner to which she informed me that no that's my Aunt. I asked if she was in, to which I was told no, so I took a card, paid and went out side to call. I was informed that the owner was on vacation so I thought to try this way to advise you that your employee that waited on us was rude and if this is your management staff I will never be back to your location. As someone who has worked in retail management for the last 18 years, there is a level to which mangers must be held as they lead by example. Your staff who helped us while shopping were wonderful but my question to you would be for how long? Attitudes roll down hill and if this is how she treats customers then how does she treat the rest of your staff? read more

Beautiful store. Excellent selection of beads. Well worth the drive. There are dozens of samples (don't ask to look at them up close, you're not allowed to touch them). They have many unique patterns you can purchase IF ... you purchase ALL the beads to make the bracelet from them. Not a problem until you find they're sold out of 1 or 2 of what was used in the sample. It's not enough to buy the pattern and all the beads they have in stock... if you want the pattern you have to substitute beads even if there isn't a suitable substitute. (You'd think they'd be happy to sell the pattern, or sell a pattern and most of the beads required rather than lose the sale... but they don't) Not everyone that works there is rude, but based on my recent experience...
