I honestly felt like it had been purposefully vandalized or something. I just stopped taking photos after a few minutes, it was so overwhelming. I hadn't been into a Kohls in a few years but I remember it being very nice and tidy. This was way worse than a TJ Maxx or Ross. It was like a Goodwill or something. You would think that first thing in the morning, at store opening for the day, it would be tidy. I just walked out without purchasing a single thing because it was chaos. It would not have been a pleasant shopping experience at all for me. Very disappointing.

It's one of the only department stores, besides Bealls, TJMaxx, BelkLindsey, Dillards, that's worth shopping at in Polk County or at least in the Winter Haven Lake Wales area. There's no variety of the old fashioned department store feel, stores that are classy, fun, unique, except driving to Posner Park, or worse Tampa/Orlando, but same cookie cutter types, or one called Ollies...good choice for bargains...The Eagle Ridge Mall needs an overhaul or to be condemned. But still this area needs more stores. Wal*Nutz, Target don't cut it... the culture and clientele that shop there eventually trash it and act ghetto ... it's despicable...crime centers especially Wal*Nutz...Bring back Penny's, Macys. Kohls is a great store, and remember, if you've never worked. Retail don't slam it as far as the esthetics in the store or how it looks on the beginning or at the end of the day, those workers work hard, it's some of the clientele that go into these stores and destroy it. The workers can only do so much and believe me. I come from a retail/merchandise background to know the more you do, the more they expect, the more they expect, the less they appreciate. There's always a "karen" in the bunch, that's going to scream her head off and get her free or a discount, when she doesn't deserve it. Another thing too , people complaining about clothes on the floor what's it gonna kill you to bend down and pick it up and just put it on the shelf , even if you don't fold it? After reviewing some of these photos and comments on here, I'm disappointed.It seems like you have maid service at your house! Retail service workers are always mistreated and yeah , I know they got a hard job and they don't get the pay for it just like any other service job. So just be kind and look around and see , maybe what you could do to maybe put something on the shelf , it's on the floor it's not going to kill you pick it up or put it back on the hanger! Or better yet , to put it back in the place , you found it! What a concept. Keep up the good work Kohls.

I felt like I was searching forever for strawberries and Romain lettuce that didn't have brown or molding. The rest of my shopping was fine. The store is definitely going through some changes switching out of the winter seasons. The store is mostly organized It's definitely one of my favorite stores to shop at, but I wish they would take care of their produce section a little more.

Each visit has been different with different staff each time, never the same people working here. Today is was greeted by a brown haired woman who loudly explained : "If you're going to sell here today, no matter where you live you have to be back here to pick up your drop off sale items by 8 pm or they will be discarded!' I've never been greeted that way by a consignment store. Especially one that relies on the public for sales to profit their store. Currently (July 2023) they do not want any baby clothes/items. They are only accepting the following: Kids shorts and swimsuits, Jordan's, name brand tee shirts, or bassinets. Things to know in my experience selling here: MOST IMPORTANT: just be nice, because most people Working here aren't that kind or well mannered in customer service. They won't give you much for your items, honestly you'll have better chances selling on Facebook market place. Most parents are willing to pay what you're asking for your kids items and they will even travel to You to pick them up. Easy service on both ends no middle man. The store is usually over crowded with stuff everywhere. Not that organized but, they do tend to host seasonal sales. Also note: I wouldn't try to sell items during the holidays. It's not worth your time. Better to purchase used kids items during their holiday sale instead. Lastly, if you're trying to sell ride on toys, you won't make near as much as you paid for them. Sell them for cash at a local garage sale instead. You'll be glad you did. No photos this time. Disappointing visit.

However, I was a little disappointed to find that shelves in a lot of areas were sparse. Also, it is no fault of this dollar tree in particular, but I have noticed that they have quietly raise the prices to $1.50 on a lot of items and it is hard to be able to tell how much everything costs individually. Service was quick, and staff was friendly. I do wish that they had more of a selection on this visit, but they could have just had a rush I visited at midweek

I feel like they get new merchandise almost every other day because every time I visit, there's all kinds of different things to look at! I never leave empty handed. The store is clean and well stocked, just the way it should be!
