I entered this Kohls location at 9am on Tuesday morning and was shocked at the complete mess and disorganization throughout the entire store. I honestly felt like it had been purposefully vandalized or something. I just stopped taking photos after a few minutes, it was so overwhelming. I hadn't been into a Kohls in a few years but I remember it being very nice and tidy. This was way worse than a TJ Maxx or Ross. It was like a Goodwill or something. You would think that first thing in the morning, at store opening for the day, it would be tidy. I just walked out without purchasing a single thing because it was chaos. I've been shopping at this store location, since it was built back in the day. My mom was a hallmark representative for many years. We both have seen many management teams.Come and go. It's one of the only department stores, besides Bealls, TJMaxx, BelkLindsey, Dillards, that's worth shopping at in Polk County or at least in the Winter Haven Lake Wales area. There's no variety of the old fashioned department store feel, stores that are classy, fun, unique, except driving to Posner Park, or worse Tampa/Orlando, but same cookie cutter types, or one called Ollies...good choice for bargains...The Eagle Ridge Mall needs an overhaul or to be condemned. But still this area needs more stores. Wal*Nutz, Target don't cut it... the culture and clientele that shop there eventually trash it and act ghetto ... it's despicable...crime centers especially Wal*Nutz...Bring back Penny's, Macys. Kohls is a great store, and remember, if you've never worked. Retail don't slam it as far as the esthetics in the store or how it looks on the beginning or at the end of the day, those workers work hard, it's some of the clientele that go into these stores and destroy it. The workers can only do so much and believe me. I come from a retail/merchandise background to know the more you do, the more they expect, the more they expect, the less they appreciate. There's always a "karen" in the bunch, that's going to scream her head off and get her free or a discount, when she doesn't deserve it. Another thing too , people complaining about clothes on the floor what's it gonna kill you to bend down and pick it up and just put it on the shelf , even if you don't fold it? After reviewing some of these photos and comments on here, I'm disappointed.It seems like you have maid service at your house! Retail service workers are always mistreated and yeah , I know they got a hard job and they don't get the pay for it just like any other service job. So just be kind and look around and see , maybe what you could do to maybe put something on the shelf , it's on the floor it's not going to kill you pick it up or put it back on the hanger! Or better yet , to put it back in the place , you found it! What a concept. Keep up the good work Kohls. read more

Kohls is a great place to shop, I love their Kohls cash, my Son bought some luggage and he gave me his 50 dollars in Kohls cash, I put that towards a crock pot. Love that!!! read more

Landy in customer service was very rude,mean and unprofessiona! walked into the store with my order number ID and Card to Mach to pick up my order for Xmas and they tell me No becase there system put a typo and spelled my last name wrong called and ask can I just change my name or add pick up and the lady still told me no and I have to leave??if this is how you treat your customers I will never shop here again! read more

Since moving to Florida, I have been checking out various Kohl locations. So far this one was the best. The merchandise was neat and organized and there was a good amount to choose from. There was not a lot on Clearance but that is probably because the location seems busy. Not much else to say--it's Kohl's. read more

Picked up a Levi jacket off the 50% off rack, price was $89.50, cashier said it comes to $62.50. This is not 50%! Off. Told cashier this is misleading but she could not do anything. Really check what the cashier is charging, this store is misleading. read more

Don't buy online you will not get your cash rewards. I called and talked to a rude lady ask to talk to manager waited 30 min. She said she is still on the phone but messaged me that She put the 30 cash reward on your wallet online. Well that was a lie then called next day talked to Elliemae very nice person said she would email them to me but it could take up to 24hr well that is another lie. I will be cancelling my Kohl's card and will not shop there anymore. If it makes you feel better keep the damn 30.00 cash rewards. Shop online to help the businessman. I see a lot of average and negative reviews pertaining to this store, but I don't understand them. This is one of my new favorite stores to shop. I would vote the stores that are similar in this order: Kohls, TJ Maxx, Marshalls, and then Ross. They all offer great products with cheaper prices. This kohls has an amazing selection of infant and newborn clothes and a plethora of other items ranging from curtains to electronics. The store is always clean and organized when we walk in. The kohls cash is awesome as well. The only reason it is a 4 instead of a 5 is due to spotty customer service. Some attendants are extremely polite one minute, but then flip 10 minutes later. This has happened a handful of times, but more positive than negative. read more

Will never shop at Any Kohl's again. Ordered a dress online because it was not offered at the Lakeland store. Received wrong dress (sku number correct on packing slip) but wrong dress. Reordered and returned the dress to store. Got order and again wrong dress (different from the 1st one) same thing with the sku numbers. Called Kohl's and they said would get supervisor to return call. Did not happen. Reordered AGAIN, same thing different dress than the other 2 but not correct. Called again got nowhere. Took dresses back to the store and was told to just keep reordering until I get the correct one, keep bringing the wrong ones back. These are $90.00 dresses, takes 5 days to get credit on your credit card. Horrible customer service at the store and online. Don't shop at Kohl's or order at your own risk read more

It's been almost a year later and I see how serious you took this the aisles are the same barely room between them for wheel chair, there's only one door that helps with the wheelchairs, and there are times I have to adjust things to get her by. She loves the store or she wouldn't of got a credit card. As I said last time her grandkids have her in the store often. Thank for your time read more

I'd been in this Kohl's briefly at xmas where the lines wrapped around the aisles due to a big sale and walked out since they were not equipped to handle the crowds. A free no strings $10 gift card mailed to me got me back in the store. I was immediately confused with signage sending me for my size clothing down one aisle-and it wasn't there. Hard to find clerk to redirect me. No bathing suits in my section, though advertised. No clerk to help find. Lost any sales from me. I meandered looking for things to buy in housewares. Found six clerks in picture frames stocking. Found two separate seniors asking me if I saw any clerks. Felt many prices "jacked up" to make the sales mark downs look better. Buyers beware. Couldn't WAIT to get out of this store. Subsequent visits show continued poor service, poor layout, no impressive deals. read more

Absolutely love this store, I have been going here for over 5 years now and I would rather shop here than anywhere else. It is clean, the employees are always helpful. They do not allow children to run amuck in the store. I also order a lot on line and if I have to return anything to the store I never have a proble doing so. read more

I have gone to this location many times. For a department store it's relatively clean and I've always seemed to receive good service. I do like how they do kohls cash and I generally can find one or two crazy good deals. FYI they take kohls cash even if it's expired. read more

I just wanted to give a little piece of mind here, you have a manager named Tammy that went above and beyond for one her customers on Friday, the customer was being disgruntled and trying to place blame for a bird pooping on her car because it was nesting in kohls parkibg lot. She had other options, but she chose my team at Mister Car Wash to service the ladys vehicle. Aside from that Tammy was very polite and went above and beyond for this lady, i was just glad i could help defuse the situation, KUDOS to Tammy great customer service on her end!!!!! read more

i shop a kohls when ever I can and am never disappointed with my purchases, I was in today and was just browsing the make up department and the very nice associate came up to me and asked if she could help, I mentioned that I have had no luck with mascara and that my favorite had been discontinued she suggested another so I got it and it is the best mascara I have used and solved the problem I was having,, Lisa the associate was very pleasant and very knowledgeable about the merchandise and she made the shopping experience today very enjoyable. read more

I have always had wonderful experiences at this Kohls location with management!!!! Very customer friendly! The physical arrangement of the store is what I have a problem with. It is VERY difficult to maneuver throughout the store with my daughter in her wheelchair. Space between racks is just too small! Makes it very difficult for me to shop with her! read more
