NORDSTROM RACK From…read morethe scattered reviews I read, I decided to stop at Nordstrom Rack. I was only three miles from their Brandon store and in need of a few men's shirts and dress pants. I was aware that Nordstrom Rack is the off-price retail division of the luxury department store chain, Nordstrom. I went there not expecting Walmart or other merchants prices. I found the men's shirts and pants racks and found several items that were the color and size I was looking for. A shirt that listed at $198.98 was on sale reduced 68% to a mere $74.96. It was a regular long sleeve shirt by Polo, Ralph Lauren. With all due respect to India where the shirt was made, I wondered what costly threads were used to make such a pricey shirt. The same was true of the pants and several other items. Mind you that these items in the off price store were on yet another discounted clearance rack in the store. Nordstrom may want to rethink their sales techniques at their chain of stores before people start realizing it's not a really an off price store.

I'm assuming the people working there are being housed and helped in some way too which I like. As far as their merchandise goes I'd say it pretty variable like most thrift stores. I did score a reaalllyyy sturdy and super vintage waffle iron there which the way it was built will probably outlive us all. I also bought a nice planter for a house plant. Overall I love the fair pricing and kind service.

I always have to order clothes online and end up returning half of them- or I just can't find anything in stores that I like once I try them on. However, this new boutique in Brandon mall has SUCH cute clothes, and I was very surprised at how well made they are. This store has the latest fashion trends- focusing towards young adults mostly, but it still has options that everyone would like. All of these clothing are mostly organized by color, which I prefer when I'm looking for something specific.The clothing do, unfortunately, range from Small-Large sizes. This is a boutique though, so that's understandable. I love how these clothes fit on me, and the staff was super sweet and helpful. Jennifer helped me find things, and offered to start a dressing room for me as soon as I came in- which I thought was great. I hate carrying clothes around the entire store. The prices are completely reasonable too! Going to chain stores, I always run into such high prices; I even end up paying over $30 for a shirt in some cases- which is INSANE. I'm so happy that this boutique has well-made and affordable clothes. There's a huge selection of colors too, and it's very well organized and clean in the store. I bought this purple dress for a great price and a really cute, white romper for $17! I will definitely be coming back to buy more, and I'm so glad I found this place! I had a cut/consult/color appointment with Kota recently and had a phenomenal experience! She was…read moresuper attentive to what I was wanting and communicated the plan and reasoning behind everything. She also explained what each option would cost/what the maintenance would be like/and what kind of care would be best to support the color, and made sure i understood all of this before making the final decision which I appreciate so much. Kota was also just super friendly and easy to chat with, I genuinely enjoyed spending the day with her while my hair was processing. My hair turned out BEAUTIFUL. I came in with what was leftover from a haircut that I didn't love, and Kota listened and thoroughly explained my options. And I feel so much better about my hair now. And the color is amazing, she did a stunning purple balayage. It was exactly what I wanted and I have gotten so many compliments. In general, the whole atmosphere at the salon felt relaxed and welcoming. Calling ahead to schedule, checking in, chatting with other stylist, etc. All of it was very easy and reassuring.
