NORDSTROM RACK From…read morethe scattered reviews I read, I decided to stop at Nordstrom Rack. I was only three miles from their Brandon store and in need of a few men's shirts and dress pants. I was aware that Nordstrom Rack is the off-price retail division of the luxury department store chain, Nordstrom. I went there not expecting Walmart or other merchants prices. I found the men's shirts and pants racks and found several items that were the color and size I was looking for. A shirt that listed at $198.98 was on sale reduced 68% to a mere $74.96. It was a regular long sleeve shirt by Polo, Ralph Lauren. With all due respect to India where the shirt was made, I wondered what costly threads were used to make such a pricey shirt. The same was true of the pants and several other items. Mind you that these items in the off price store were on yet another discounted clearance rack in the store. Nordstrom may want to rethink their sales techniques at their chain of stores before people start realizing it's not a really an off price store.

I searched all around and could not find the correct rack. The racks are messy. Disorganized and squished together. We overlook this because you can find the diamond in the rough. I searched for an employee for 15 minutes and found 1 in the checkout and 1 in the layaway. Nobody on the floor at all. Frustrating to say the least. BUT you can get some deals, so there is that.

There's one Kohls in MD where about everything on shelves and racks is in such disarray... not this Kohl's. Kudos to the management and the employees. Found a new dish set that matches my mother's current set. She liked it and said she rarely shops at Kohl's. I found going to this store so much easier and less hassle than shopping at the Brandon Mall.

I saw a bag I wanted and teasingly hid it from hubby so I could buy it (truly he knew and just giggled at my pirse obsession, gotta love him) and the employee there played along and had a great sense of humor. They are ALWAYS so friendly there and sweet. This has become one of my favorite shops in the area between the adorable items and the amazing employees (hint to their boss if they read this: they may need a raise with this top notch service )!! Came here bc it was a record low temp outside and we needed to walk our furbaby inside. This is a good place for it and it's dog friendly inside and there were a few dogs walking with their family. Everyone needs to stay warm ya know. Now coming in here, we park at Dillards, and I get the Wonder Years Vibes. Remember that show from back in the day with Fred Savage & Danica McKeller - Kevin and Winnie Cooper I believe. It's the faded periwinkle green carpeting that makes it so back in the day. It has that feel to it, but I know I've seen even more throw back malls. Happy that we can walk inside here with no issues. I don't come here often at all, and I just walk around.
