    Horchata, Chips, Guacamole, Breakfast Burrito
    Brian W.

Really great amount of food for an even better price! I spent $15 and was able to add 4 items to my order - and I was incredibly full after eating! The quality was decent too - nothing too over the top but still really satisfying and definitely worth the price: Horchata ($3) - I love that this came in a sealed container instead of a cup with a straw - It was really easy to save in the fridge for a day or so and then to drink and come back to at a later time. It was nice and milky, cinnamon-y, and refreshing. Not the greatest I've had, but definitely the most portable and approachable! Almost like a dessert! Chips ($2) - Nice and crispy without being oily or greasy. I love these types of chips especially with something to dip them in! Guacamole ($1.50) - WHAT $1.50 for guac? What a good price! The serving size wasn't huge, but it was enough for the order of chips. For a total of $3.50 for chips and guac, not sure there's a better deal anywhere else. Breakfast Burrito ($8.50) - This had rice, beans, cheese, potatoes, scrambled eggs, and pico de gallo. It was also HUGE. It was filling, tasty, and though it could have been nice with some sausage or meat in it, adding meat would have increased the price. A burrito of this size for $8.50 is amazing, and there are enough ingredients in this item that it is incredibly satisfying. All in all, 4/5 - the meal I got was so filling and worth the money. It wasn't anything incredibly groundbreaking, but it was a solid and reliable meal that I will definitely get again!

I am frequently homesick for good Mexican food, so it's something I'm always on the lookout for. Beantown Taqueria fills that need more than most places in the area. Last time I was here, I got the flautas. They were ready quickly and a really reasonable amount of food for the money (at least by Boston standards). I've had a burrito and chimichanga here before and enjoyed both. There's minimal seating inside, but enough that you probably won't need to take it to go.

I have been to Beantown Taqueria many times over the years. To me Beantown is a solid place for legit Mexican food. It is not a trendy place with fancy drinks or fusion food, but the food is authentic, both authentic Mexican and Tex-Mex. The portion are good, and the price has been affordable. I remember the Saturday mornings that I came here for brunch and spent much of the rest of the day walking around to burn off all the calories.

Use the Yelp check in for 25% off! I checked in after ordering, so not 100% sure if it still works but give it a try. I'm quite pleased with the food but the price is quite a bit higher than expected. I ordered a carnitas quesadilla , made it a combo, added small guac ($1.50) plus a horchata. Everything you see in the picture came to $20 and the portion isn't too big. The quesadillas come plain by default and that will already run you $10. Price aside, the food really is good. The carnitas seemed to be cooked traditionally in fat and was tender and tasty. The best part is probably that chipotle Mayo that the give on the side. Not something that I typically receive with a quesadilla but it seems so right now. Will be back if craving a quesadilla and in the area!

Really affordable 2 for 1 tostada Thursday! There are also plenty of hot sauces to choose from and they gave me limes when I requested. All the tostadas are piled high with whatever protein is selected along with beans and vegetables- requesting spicy was indeed spicy! The meats could have used more seasoning and char but they hit the spot.

Beantown taqueria is averagely priced for tacos. The place has very limited seating (about 5 chairs) and definitely gives the mom and pop vibe. I love tacos and definitely enjoyed my carnita taco but I'd say it was about average. The spicy salsa that they had on the side was delicious and SPICY (in a good fun way)! The place was clean and the service was good!

I got this using a BOGO deal on uber eats. I got two small burritos, one chorizo burrito and the other El Pastor. The flavor was good but not anything special and was dense for a small burrito. The order was filled quickly and was delivered pretty fast. They put a cute thank you on the bag and included a couple candies which was a nice touch.

I live locally, we have been buying their food and supporting them for years, since before the pandemic. Last night we had other food from somewhere else around the corner and just wanted to get two regular / virgin pina coladas to go. But because this particular woman doesn't like black people, she did not want to serve us the drinks. Not only was her customer service terrible, she was also trying to extort / milk us for more money. whole time the store was closing in like 30 minutes, and it would've been smart to allow your business to earn more money even if it's small, on drinks while you get ready to shut the grill down. Instead, they wanted us to order something, they would have to rush to make it, and then rush us to eat it, and then kick us out because it was closing soon. Soooooo disappointing. Actually Terrible service.

This place is popping! Even though it was later in the evening, the restaurant was still really full. However we didn't have to wait too long to get seated. I loved the decor in here, such neat details and even a column with a dragon on it! So cool. It's a dark restaurant so it was hard to read the menu, but otherwise, it's a very cool vibe here and feels very lounge-y. Our server was awesome, he was friendly and explained the restaurant style to us - it's like tapas, you order a few items to share and recommended 2 - 3 items per person would be sufficient. It was only 2 of us and we shared 3 items total, and that was more than enough. We apparently arrived so late that our server informed us that we only had a short time before the kitchen was closing for the night. But he said that he would return before the kitchen closed in case we wanted to order additional menu items. We were intrigued by the Japanese/Peruvian fusion menu and tried a few things: Kuromitsu Brussel Sprouts Spicy Salmon Fritas Bo Bo Chicken I was most excited about the Bo Bo Chicken a it had a sichuan chili oil and I love spicy, but it was not spicy at all (to me). But the flavor was really good. My favorite was the Brussels sprouts. I loved the char on them and the ginger black honey on it was so good.
