We recently went to Bass Pro shops for their free kids fishing event. We had a little bit of a rain…read moredelay in the morning, but we're able to get out and start fishing at their stocked pond a little before noon. My daughter had never been fishing before, so this was a really fun time for all of us as a family. We got there at 10 because that's when the event was supposed to start, but we had had quite a bit of rain starting around 9 AM so they pushed it back a little bit. We had a couple of hours to kill and it was easily done. We got to walk around and look at all of their ATVs and boats as well as a lot of different products that they had. My daughter had a really fun time, looking at the fish in their indoor tank. The actual fishing event is definitely my five star here. Staff was so kind and helped load and bait my daughter's hook. They were helpful with fish removal and super kind with tips and tricks.

They were looking forward to the Barrett 50 cal (it was worth it!), they shot pistols, revolvers, a range of full auto rifles. They have an outstanding selection for rentals! The service was amazing. One of the guys spent a lot of time helping the boys with each firearm in how to use it but most importantly, how NOT to get hurt. I spent a lot, but it was a special occasion and I wasn't going to say no to my sons. they had the opportunity to shoot what they wanted. So I decided to put an end to that and get reusable ice packs. The store is large and had different areas for sports gear and athletic wear. I don't know if they were rearranging their items but there were empty spaces here and there in the store. I found what I needed and went to check out. There was a line but I didn't have to wait long. The cashier was friendly and I would come back if I needed something else.
