After letting the cashier know it was missing, she looked at the computer and said, "oh. Yeah, it was cancelled." I told her I never received a notification of it being cancelled and she said, "well, we don't have it, that's why." I asked to get the same item in store but in a different color since it was a bundled purchase as part of a promotion. She said okay. I quickly went, found the item, and took it up to her at the register, where she CHARGED ME FOR IT. I asked why I was being charged if I had already paid for the item and she said I will get my other item's refund in 7-10 business days. I paid and left. When I got home, I received a notification that my item still hadn't been picked up in store. ???????? I called customer care and they said they couldn't do anything about it and to call the store. I called the store and they said the same thing and that customer care should have handled it. So now, either my item or my money (or both) are floating around somewhere and there's no one who knows how to just cancel the item and reimburse me.

While standing there a male associate named Phillip approached me and asked if I was wanting to return an item. I stated yes I was and he stated, and I quote " well you're going to have to go get in the back of the line, we can't have you cutting in front of all these other people". I explained to him that a week prior that I went to desk at first like you do anywhere else and that I was not aware I needed to get in the purchase line. He continued to walk behind me and follow me to the line after I told him I did not appreciate him accusing me of breaking in line as I was not aware this was the expectation . He was super rude and has no place working with the public with his terrible and condescending attitude. Spoke with manager Chandra and she stated she would speak with him, but I assume it will not be handled as she stated this was not typical of him. After reading several reviews on here with similar complaints maybe it's just the culture of the Gastonia store. I will not be back . This wasn't an issue for me; I brought my own guns. The staff were excellent - a young gentleman and a lovely young woman were working on the Sunday afternoon I visited. Both staff members could not have been more knowledgeable, helpful, and pleasant. Everyone had a great attitude, which was incredibly refreshing. I felt extremely safe. I hope this review doesn't attract the typical losers I've met at other rangers near CLT. Fellow range users were very friendly and showed an interest in getting to know me. For example, California redacts certain information (ie. birthdate). Due to this, any background checks come delayed because California requires manual checks. This range will make you wait far past the legal limits and brady law. 20-30 days is asinine. There are plenty of other ranges and gun shops around that do not play games like that. The actual range itself is nice and targets are a good size. I might come here to shoot every once in a while when Eagles isn't an option, but as for anything else; I suggest going elsewhere.
