I've used this florist twice and both times I called in to place an order. It felt easier than trying to do an order online. I was able to give some specifics of what i was looking for since both occasions were condolence flower arrangements. The first time was a breeze, clearly the rep on the phone had worked there a long time and was extremely helpful. The second time the rep seemed newer and less sure of herself plus the price was a bit higher even though it was almost the same arrangement as before, just a few weeks difference. That might just be the market price changing for flowers. Either way, they delivered the flowers right on time and without issue. I do wish I could have seen the arrangement before hand, even a picture via text or email to see what I paid for would be nice. Overall a nice friendly local business. read more

They saved the day. Bear Creek Florist is my normal go to. They always do such a beautiful job. I was in the car with my Son and he called another florist by mistake to order a courage for prom. I showed up to pick up the coursage and realized my mistake. Because I had placed the order I then drove to the other shop. Upon arrival the coursage was poor quality (the roses were very small) and it was not the colors I had ordered. This place was once great but has gone downhill. They seem to love using painted flowers, but I noticed that they no longer paint them fully so many flowers have 2-3 colors on them with a white undercoat, doesn't seem very natural at all. The staff is very nice, even on busy days. read more

I didn't plan ahead very well, and the morning of my Celebration Walkthrough after a major remodel, I realized I really should bring two beautiful bouquets to the contracting company's owner and the designer who helped me with the remodel plans. I knew I shouldn't just run to Safeway for some cheap flowers. I called Bear Creek Florist around 8:05 am on a Tuesday and wondered if they could throw something together in time for me to return home promptly by 11 am. They said they could definitely do that and in fact could have bouquets ready in 25 minutes!! I gratefully headed to the florist, which has plenty of close by, free parking at that time of morning. Right in front of me, the floral designer put the finishing touches on one of the fantastic bouquets, soliciting my opinion and taking out a couple flowers I didn't like and putting in different after he asked about colors. The bouquets were fantastic, well worth the price ($125 each) and carefully packaged for the journey home in my car. I realize that my emergency and poor planning was not their problem, so for them to be so relaxed and gracious with putting together beautiful short-notice bouquets for me was so wonderful. The best way I can describe my experience with Bear Creek Florist was that they brought an amazing amount of joy to one of the saddest possible occasions. And went above and beyond to meet my requests. My partner of 33 years passed away and I reached out to Bear Creek for an urn arrangement. At the best of times, I can struggle with communicating my wants and with not always being the most traditional. (That's a nice way of saying I can be the customer from H***.) I wanted an arrangement based on the Victorian Language of Flowers with only positive sentiments. Niko helped guide me from there into recognizing I also need to decide colours (purple and blue) and style (as natural as possible). Everyone at the wake was amazed at the beauty. It was touching, complex, and so far beyond my wildest dreams. I truly hope I have an opportunity to work with them again (perhaps on a happier event). read more

I live out of state but my mother in law lives in Redmond so I ordered flowers for her off of this company's website, as I was eager to support a local business in her area. There was a disclaimer that they might have to make substitutions but it states "Care is taken to maintain the style, theme and color scheme of the arrangement, using flowers of equal value. " Seems reasonable. Well, I was really disappointed to see when she sent a picture that color scheme had been completely abandoned. The whole reason I chose this bouquet was the monochromatic color scheme. I'm not sure how they got from all shades of pink to red/purple/pink and felt ok about that. The bouquet otherwise looks well filled and nice, so the 3 stars is really for the bad substitutes. It was delivered a day earlier than I had selected but it was a holiday weekend so I wasn't bothered by that. read more

The owner reached out to me serveral times to confirm and ideate the vision. She delivered one of the most beautiful and unique floral experiences. She and her wonderful assistant spent two hours setting the venue and it looked as though a thousand forest fairies descended upon our place to turn it into the most gorgeous setting imaginable. I had the good fortune to go to Bear Creek Florist to arrange for a birthday bouquet for my wife - this was on Tuesday, and I asked for the flowers to be delivered to a local hotel where we were having a nice weekend stay-cation. Then, on Wednesday, my wife mentioned that she'd seen a beautiful porcelain tea-tray at the same florist, with a big hint that it would make a nice birthday gift. I went back to Bear Creek Florist on Thursday, purchased the tray, and asked them to deliver it along with the bouquet - they said they could do that with no problem. When we arrived at the hotel on Friday evening, the bouquet and gift-wrapped tray were sitting on the coffee table in our suite. Not only had Bear Creek Florist done a wonderful job with the bouquet, they had put it together to closely match the flowers that were on the tea tray - my wife and I were both delighted with their creativity. I will happily return to Bear Creek Florist the next time I need flowers for a special (or ordinary) occasion; they went above and beyond without being requested. :-) read more

On a Thursday at noon I called to ask for two items for a wedding on Saturday. When I inquired about a wreath I saw online, Lisa said the FTD list price was $500; we both kind of laughed because for one wreath, that sounded a little bit over the top. Lisa made a phone call to a distributor and found a makeshift solution to find a foam core wire wreath. She added orange and red roses, moss, carnations, and other items that can dry nicely. I was super impressed with what they came up with, and pleased with the price. If I expected my budget would be inline with picking up a bunch of flowers at Trader Joe's I would be displeased with the cost. But, you get what you pay for. I did not pay for a delivery fee because I wanted to save some money. The other item came with clear directions so spritz it with water at night and in the morning. The orchids were in great shape at three o'clock today at the ceremony. In terms of going above and beyond, Lisa helped us carry the cardboard box out to our car. The little shop is Bear Creek Florist, and what I like best about the shop is how clean and well maintained it is, the flowers and plants are always fresh looking, and arranged so brilliantly. Lisa, the owner, has a great team working at Bear Creek Florist. They are very professional not just in customer service, but in how they produce their arrangements for the office, the home, or just-because arrangements, as well as the holidays. All flowers are freshly cut and uniquely designed. The team at Bear Creek Florist are always very personable & the first time we went in to the shop they took the time to get to know my husband & I. Magically they managed to produce the most beautiful arrangement & they continue to do so each time we have come into the shop. I think what has impressed me most about Lisa, is that she is creative with great artistic ability. A good example is that I requested a plant arrangement to be sent to my mother in another state, which she could do. The arrangement that my mother received was pleasant beyond expectation. It was gorgeous, slightly contemporary with a mixture of a traditional in the arrangement. My mother was very surprised and happy to have received such a beautiful arrangement which was also very fragrant.
