What an amazing yelp event! I love flowers so much and I had to go. I was a little late and missed the tutorial but heard from other folks that the tutorial was great. The owner taught everyone how to make flower bouquets and flower tiaras. The shop itself was gorgeous. Been ordering from Terra Bella for a friend who lives in Seattle, and they get it right every time. The hand-picked bouquets are beautiful, and the arrangements are both elegant and dramatic. When ordering online, there are options to select "feline friendly" bouquets, and/or give add-ons such as a bottle of wine or other self-care products. Next-day delivery is a bit tricky; sometimes the website will allow it, and others, it doesn't go through. The directive is that any orders placed before 10AM Pacific can get delivered the next day, but my experience with the website is that next-day is rarely an option, even when placed within the recommended order window. Terra Bella are slightly more expensive than other flower shops -- a deluxe bouquet will run upwards of $200 -- but their attention to detail seems worth the investment, and they are local. Would definitely recommend for anyone in the Seattle area. read more

Beautiful flower arrangement delivered to me from Terra Bella. This flower arrangement was delivered to me nearly a week ago (last Tuesday). The first photo (of the 4 bouquets of flowers - the flower arrangement from Terra Bella is on the bottom left of the photo) was taken last Tuesday. The second photo was taken today, Monday, 6 days later. The largest round pink flowers in the Terra Bella arrangement (the ones that looked sort of like sea anemones :) ) died within a few days, so I cut them out. However, the light pink/peach roses still look really nice 6 days later (today), so I am still enjoying looking at this flower arrangement. The small orange roses still look pretty good 6 days later, too. I really didn't expect any of the flowers in the arrangement to still look pretty good 6 days after the flower arrangement was delivered, so I am pleasantly surprised. I did add water to the pot 2 days ago, and I cut out any of the flowers that were not looking so good anymore. This was the nicest-smelling flower arrangement of the 4, too. It smelled SO good when it arrived! It looked great, too. My photos really do not do this flower arrangement justice. It had a lovely slightly wild look to it, with snapdragons, ferns, and small orange roses placed in the sides of the pot in a way in which they were gloriously sticking out 6" - 9" out from the sides of the pot. You can kind of see this in the second photo, but this looked much better when the flower arrangement was first delivered, of course. Very happy. If I want to buy someone local flowers in the near future, Terra Bella will definitely be at the top of my list. read more

this review is long overdue and it comes because the person who sent me flowers for my birthday back in the fall was up here a week ago from central california so i was reminded about the amazing bouquet that arrived in early october. in talking to a good friend here in west seattle, i come to find out the owner of terra bella is a friend of hers; i still would have written this glowing review were that second degree of separation were not the case because the arrangement i received was not only stunning but lasted two full weeks! i'm not someone who has received a ton of flower arrangements, maybe five or six in my adult life (?) but this one was gorgeous for both the use of different textural elements, the palette of colors and the length of time it stayed looking picture perfect! from the moment i saw it, i was in love. and living in west seattle, i took note of the fact that it came from a florist outside our now bridgeless peninsula! i wanted to know who i could call on in the future should i need to send an amazing display of flowers to someone so i noted the business name. i don't know how my friend decided upon an arrangement from terra bella, living hundreds of miles away and having multiple florists to choose from (some of which are clearly closer to my home address,) but i was super impressed and now that i know they're the personal friend of one of my close friends, i will make sure to send future floral business their way. if you've got a reason to send someone a floral arrangement, i would hands down recommend terra bella. amazing quality and creativity. read more

Oh my gosh, we are absolutely over the moon with our flowers! We are one of the many couples who decided to do an ad-hoc Zoom wedding instead of postponing nuptials until after the pandemic, but we still wanted to have some nice flowers. And, since it's now a backyard summer wedding, we got me a flower crown to wear, too. I gave a couple of inspiration notes (colors we're using, mentioned that we took inspiration from an ancient Irish holiday the same day as the wedding) and Terra Bella did the most incredible, wonderful, beyond-my-expectations job translating those elements into a stunning bouquet and flower crown. I was nervous about the crown with my hair (an undercut), but it's both truly beautiful and perfectly complimentary to my semi-unusual haircut. I honestly don't know how the designer made everything so perfect based on relatively little information, but she obviously did some research into the holiday and found the perfect mix for our bouquet. I cannot recommend Terra Bella enough. Everything was chosen with care for our special day, and by someone who clearly has a deep appreciation for texture and palette in floral design.
