Kim created the most BEAUTIFUL florals ever! She was an absolute dream to work with from beginning to end. We didn't know much about florals at the start of the wedding planning process so I sent some Pinterest and general color ideas. I needed a bouquet for Mother's Day, and had specific flowers in mind. It's not like I haven't been happy with the other places I've gotten flowers through the years--quite the opposite. But Westminster Abbey-style roses (big, rustic, papery-looking blooms) were proving elusive. Kim seemed confident that she could get something like them, so away we went. She runs her operation the way you want a florist to operate sometimes--lots of attention to detail, lots of attention to you as a customer. It's nice to grab a bunch of brightly-colored flowers at a roadside stand now and then, too, but for a special occasion when you really want a dazzling result, Kim is truly the way to go. She set up a short phone call to go over my request, the overall style, and the budget. She arranged delivery as well. When they showed up, I'm pretty sure it was her husband driving them. I've had lots of kind and cheerful delivery drivers before, but someone that relaxed and happy just couldn't be running a route on a schedule every day. And the flowers, which are what really matter in all of this, were spectacular. As soon as they showed up I got cussing, squeals, and tears. You can't ask for a bigger reaction. They're truly gorgeous--big showy blooms, nice counterpoints from other sprigs and flowers, lots of native foliage like a bit of fern and this and that. She's truly an artist at work, not just an arranger. You can look at her bouquets for a long time and you just keep noticing things. I was starting to think I would use these special roses as a way to try a few different florists and see if I could find the specialty house that can really take on custom projects for special occasions. I had that thought and within a couple days the next florist who sold me flowers became my permanent first choice. She's amazing. read more
