The Paris Market is essentially like an antique shop, museum, and classy cafe all came together at once. It has a perfect vibe and aesthetic that is honestly very calming when you've been rushing around the streets of Savannah prior to walking in the door. I highly recommend getting any flavor of latte (hot or iced) as well as their incredible Parisian hot chocolate. Both were delicious and actually worth the $6/$7 price tag! We went down to City Market during the St. Patrick's Day celebrations this weekend and it was such…read morea fun experience. Jordan and I love coming here when the city is full of energy, and St. Patrick's weekend definitely brings that. The whole area was packed with people, music, and everyone dressed in green just enjoying the festivities. Bars were lively, drinks were flowing, and the atmosphere felt like one big outdoor party. It's one of those places where you can just walk around, pop into different spots, grab a drink, and enjoy the crowd. Of course, with the holiday crowd it gets very busy, but that's honestly part of the fun. If you're looking to experience Savannah during St. Patrick's, City Market is definitely one of the best places to soak in the celebration. Jordan and I had a great time and it's always a memorable way to celebrate the holiday in Savannah.

The place certainly had what we were looking for with everything pretty much priced in line with most other such shops. Everything is nicely laid out, presented in an orderly fashion and the service was certainly friendly and nice, but I fail to see what all the hoopla is about or anything that would distinctly set it apart as being any better than any other such shop unless it might be its admirable location along the riverfront. We made our purchases, went on our way but stopped by a couple of other such shops which we found to be very similar both in price and in what they carried. So, in comparison, the best I can said is that I found Land and Sea Wear to be just fine, I liked it, but nothing Weehoo or as good as it gets about the place.

There are roughly 30 different types of wine available for purchase, with many being local Georgia wines. The owner was a very nice man and offered to let us try some of their top sellers, which were a summer peach blend and a wine shine. We purchased the summer peach blend right away and planned to drink it on our trip. We came back a second time and purchased a few more bottles including the wine shine. The owner was very knowledgeable about his products and even sold us on a red Zinfandel called 1000 Stories just by the way he described it. Savannah is a city of many small businesses and this place is one of the good ones. I would highly recommend this place for any fans of wine and anyone looking for souvenirs to bring home as he sells those as well.

I saw a sign for wine and, of course, I knew we had to go in. At first the place was completely empty and then, out of nowhere, this character of a man (whom I assume was the owner) pops up and asks if we are okay. Fast forward and we are having a full on conversation about wine, Savannah, and things to do around the area (since we were visiting). The man gave us some wines to sample and we left the shop with a local blueberry wine. I'm not a fan of sweet wine, but my boyfriend is still counting down to his next visit to Savannah so he can come back here and buy more.
