It was a sign from God as I love two things in the South when it comes to sweet's Pralines and Turtles. This place I hit the jackpot as they have both. Once I enter the door I spot the pralines on the shelf and I get two bags. Than a 1lb box of turtles milk chocolate with pecans for me and hubby. Also a half 1lb to give as a present. I truthfully would have bought out the shop if my luggage didn't have a weight limit. The smell is heavenly in this store and even got a sample of pumpkin fudge tasted just like pumpkin pie. The sales associate was attentive and friendly even asked the names of my cats as I told her this was presents for my friend watching my cats.

If it weren't for the editable paper insignia, one would guess it was for a baby shower with the colors used. To make matters worse, the lid smashed into the top layer while we were driving back. I should have NOT bought it but felt weird since we went to the guy's house to pick it up. His store front had closed. We ended up leaving it at the Airbnb and not presenting it to our marine because it looked so bad. I'm sure it tasted good, but lacked in presentation. I was really disappointed. Russ did offer to come by and fix the top but by the time we connected we were no longer at the house and the cake was in the trash.
