Hannah runs the place and she is awesome. She knows everything about honey and can lead you to the best option for whatever you are wanting honey for. Donna was very helpful explaining the locally produced "Bee brand", the numerous infused honey flavors and the various ways they can be enjoyed. I look forward to trying her suggestion of roasted sweet potatoes and carrots finished with a drizzle of their cinnamon infused honey. They have a honey tasting bar to try with their individual spoons, and knowledgeable Donna is there to assist and answer your questions. I had a good experience in store. My issue was in researching after my purchase. While in store, I was informed that it was a small mom and pop run by a lady and her stepmother with the beekeeper as the 3rd owner. Of course they stated that the out of state honey was sourced but I believed the GA honey to be from that 3rd person's beehives. I was told that he/male owner had hives all over the state of GA. I looked into it and can't find any information corroborating that statement. I had a nice experience - store and people are lovely (as well as the cat) but, in hindsight, this feels misleading and I will not be back. Appears the male owner is not a beekeeper at all- I don't recommend googling him. Very misleading information given :( read more

This is, by far, the most beautiful Honey Boutique. It's so charming, it just draws you inside. There's an excellent selection of various flavors of honey, sauces, chocolates, and more. The Lady at the store suggested we should do a tasting to find out what my palate likes. It likes everything! I love honey, for sure. But, I never delve into the different flavors. With the tasting, I was able to broaden my love for honey. Oh, and she opened my taste buds for amaretto chocolate. She also introduced me to great grilling sauce too. Now there's a lot more to buy with the signature bee on plates, kitchen towels and utensils. There's body lotions, perfumes, candles, jewelry, lip balms etc Did I mention how cute the honey jars are? Wonderful gem worth the visit. Charming shop, friendly staff, great products. Was able to try about 10 different flavors of raw honey and had difficulty selecting which were my favorites. And by raw, I mean natural with nothing else added and extracted with out heat so it is the good stuff. Ended up buying 5 plus some black lava salt caramels. I went for the honey but there is so much more at this store. I wish I'd found it sooner. It may be lesser known (for now), but it is so much better! read more

What an amazing store. We loved it so much we went back before leaving Savannah to buy few more items. We throughly enjoyed tasting the different flavor honey. It's a cute store with a lot of cute items but it wasn't a honey store like I expected. It was a store that carried honey. Also, I appreciate the honey tasting. The lady who was serving us acted as if she only wanted to give us a few samples and she stopped giving us spoons and would reuse the spoons, it was a pump so it didn't touch the product. I think she was getting annoyed and was being a bit curt in her responses. I think if I'm a paying customers buying items you can be a bit more friendly and patient. She needs to check her attitude until a customer leaves or do something different. That's why I gave 3 stars, not because of the store but because of the sales person's attitude. read more

My mom and I stopped in and instantly feel in love. It's cozy and beautiful inside with knick knacks for any bee or ocean lover. They had some of the most beautiful honey pots and offered free samples of the honey. The cinnamon and snowberry where especially delicious. read more

First, the place is charming AF. You walk in and just...everything is pretty. From the beautiful little knick knacks to the honey and the honey is amazing. Try all of it. My absolute favorite was (and I understand this sounds weird) the watermelon honey. Which they only have in straws, so I bought a bunch. But I'm going to make amazing cocktails with them! (I was also told to mix it with balsamic and throw it on salad.) It was awesome talking to the shop owners, not only were they hugely informative in the process of bee keeping (you just put that in your mouth, don't you want to know where it came from?), but they were also really helpful to us tourists! Pointed out a bunch of amazing bars and restaurants, gave us a little map, and their suggestions did NOT disappoint! Pointed us in the direction of some of our favorite new places! Walking down the river walk and stumbled across this small tent with a lot of different honeys and I was absolutely shocked at how good this honey was. Saw a little postcard at our B&B about this place (which was only two blocks away) and was tempted to go...and it was such a find! This locally owned/operated store is located in the less commercial end of Broughton but a MUST visit --- you must seek this out. Some local tour guides include this shop in their foodie tours. Yes, they have honey (and free tasting if you need some help deciding) -- the owner Kristen was so lovely and helpful with everything! The different honey products were all amazing....and then some! Found lovely other items and decided to get a ton of early Christmas shopping done! The hair/skin products are wonderful -- organic, natural, essential oils. Had to get some lavender balm (okay, a few tubes) to take home. Then, found some amazing soy candles scented with essential oils (burns 80 hours per label!): jackpot on gifts for many lucky friends. They also have a website which I am sure to check out (since I'll probably be ordering more things as holidays approach). Since it was only the start of our day, the owner offered to keep our purchases 'in the back' while we continued to stroll around --- and since our inn was so close, she even volunteered to drop it off if needed!
