The last time I was there buying parts they had one of their employees on a forklift in their parking lot unloading a truck. The next morning I noticed a large scratch on my bumper. I decided I would go down there and speak to the manager to see if he could review video. When I got there an employee said the manager was out and asked what the problem was. As I explained the situation he stood in front of me with his mouth open and a blank look on his face. The employee that was driving the forklift the previous day overheard my story and chimed in saying I remember your truck there and I didn't hit it. I believed him. That's not the reason I'll never go there again. The reason they'll never have my business is because of the moronic employee who stood in front of me with his mouth open. My father (and my family) has been patronizing this establishment for decades for all of our car needs. The level of customer service at this location was always high quality and employees at various O'Reilly locations were always excellent, particularly helping the elderly. My father's visit tonight involved a purchase of a car battery to replace a dead car battery, which was still under warranty and previously purchased from O'Reilly. According to my father, he asked Orlando (the cashier) if he or one of the staff could help him install the car battery, which the store has historically done for him for decades. My father witnessed another employee concurrently installing another customer's car battery. Orlando said he couldn't do it, but would defer to his supervisor, Javier, to talk to my father. My father said it was Javier who was the O'Reilly employee that was installing another customer's car battery earlier. Javier spoke to my father and said it was O'Reilly's policy to not install car battery replacements for customers, even though my father clearly saw Javier install another customer's car battery replacement prior. Javier stated that it was O'Reilly's policy for employees to not assist customers with installing car batteries that are still under warranty. Whilst talking to my father, Javier instructed one of the staff to help another customer with their car battery; concurrently, Javier was denying assistance to my elderly father. Javier then scolded my elderly father and insisted that he purchase tools in the shop to do the install himself without any of the O'Reilly employees' help. My father said Javier rudely walked away while my father was still pleading with him. THANK YOU to a very kind fellow customer, Angel, who was looking around the store and witnessed the encounter. He approached my father to offer his assistance. My father didn't have any tools on him whatsoever, so he was resigned to purchase a $15 wrench from O'Reilly for Angel and him to install the car battery themselves, so that my father can make it safely home. When my father came home, he explained the troubling encounter with Javier to me. I've never seen my father so upset and gutted before. I immediately called the store, and Emanuel picked up. I asked for his supervisor, Javier's, last name, but Emanuel said that he didn't know Javier's last name and that Javier had gone home for the day. I will be filing a complaint with headquarters about Javier's subpar customer service tonight and his refusal to assist an elderly and long-time loyal customer. We don't ever want any customers, especially the most vulnerable like my elderly father, to feel belittled and small like my father felt tonight.

I explained that I wasn't provided one at the time of purchase and that my phone number was given instead. The associate claimed there was no record under my number. When I asked if they could look up the transaction using my card, I was told to go back to the original store where I purchased the item. This response makes little sense, as a company-wide system should allow any location to verify purchases regardless of where they were made. Instead of being helped, I was dismissed without a real solution. For a brand that prides itself on customer service, this experience was frustrating and unacceptable.

Upon entering I was greeted. I walked around not knowing what I was doing so I did ask for help and Jesus came to the rescue! It was suppose to rain and my wipers are totally shot. Like totally gone the summer heat destroyed them. Jesus did his job by trying to find the best fit for me and since my car is a newer model it takes a rare wiper. We thought we found some and he gave me a $10 discount off my purchase since I only had one brand to choose from :( Jesus informed me it is a strategy that dealers are doing so we ONLY get or needs done with them and not places like O'Reilys. So we went outside and realized the Driver side was a perfect fit however the passenger window wiper was not the one I needed so we went back inside to search for a compatible window wiper but there was none in stock. He did inform me that the Clovis location had it in stock and called they literally sold their last make of the wiper a few days a go. All places were out of stock and I really didn't want to driving all over Fresno/Clovis for one Wiper xD so he asked me what I would like to do since I already paid for it. I just went agreed and had his order the one passenger wiper which he said it would be delivered by Friday 10/29/21 and will call me once it is in. He also gave me a deal once again!! Great service this is why I LOVE O'Reilys. He said I should be good for the rain as "All you really need is the driver side" which he was right as the next day it poured and my driver side wiper was totally there for me! I got a call on Friday 10/29/21 around 10am from Jesus informing me that the wiper came in and I can come in anytime to get it installed. Since I was at work the only time I could come in was after work. I arrived and James helped me out and installed my wiper in less than 2 minutes and I was on my way! The customer service is amazing here and the staff are very friendly. This is my favorite location to get my car needs done as I was coming here when they barely opened back in 2012 or 2013 as the whole plaza was new and empty! Overall, I recommend this location!
