I used to do home health care as an RN (not for Bayada) and we always would be out to see a new patient either the same day, or early the next day if it was someone that got home late and didn't have pressing needs (such as a dressing change). Bayada did not come out to see my mother-in-law for 3 DAYS, and only after 2 phone calls were made to the office. The first time we called we were told she could just call if she needed them or had questions! Really?? When they did finally come out the nurse was very nice, but never even got a set of vital signs, which is one of the things required to get reimbursed by Medicare. The physical therapist and the occupational therapist also took several days to come out and see her, and again it took several phone calls for it to happen. PT an OT each only came out once a week, but we found out later they were supposed to be coming out 3 times a week. At the first post-opt appointment the doctor stopped Bayada and had her go to outpatient physical therapy 5 times a week instead because he said she was no where near the level she should have been functioning. Overall a very negative experience. I gave Bayada 2 stars instead of one because the people that did come out were very nice, but honestly would never use them again, and would request another agency.

Looking at back invoices I was overcharged 12 hours one day. 15 hours another day and on the holiday at $52.50 an hour the caregiver was a half hour late, I was still charged for the scheduled shift. The caregivers come in late everyday when they do come in. I do not recommend this company to anyone. STAY FAR AWAY FROM SILVER LINING

Mom was often unwashed, kept in pajamas. hungry as soon as in came in the door. the last straw was when b4 leaving i gave aide her check. i came back at lunch to make sure mom was fed. lo and behold no aide in home! i sat and waited for 45 minutes until she came back. i asked where she had been "to cash my check" i said u r hired to be with my mom from the time i leave until i get home, not to leave her alone to cash your check. we had one outstanding aide named Sharon! would never have used them again, but when i became disabled it was 10+ years later so i learned there was new management and believe in second chances. really bad decision on my part. =

My physical therapist that came to my house, Keesha Vassel- Ford, what's phenomenal! It was very frustrating not being able to do everyday tasks and she helped me get through it. She gave me confidence that I did not know I had. She treated me with the utmost respect and at the same time it was like she was a friend that I've known for years. She need my recovery so much better I'm so much easier. Anybody who would have her as her as their physical therapist is very very lucky
