It's big and bright, and, as always, so friendly. Maybe the selection is exactly the same, but it FEELS bigger, so your creative brain can come out like a happy, curious child and explore possibilities. The building has many small businesses arranged along a hall, it reminds me of a similar building filled with creative businesses on Williams. Inside you will find books, stationary, art supplies, design goods, apparel, accessories, craft kits, journals, and home goods. It would be a great spot for gifts. They've gone beyond many places, writing down information for items they don't carry, but I'm looking for, researching materials to answer unusual questions, etc. It's not a huge store, but they are dedicated to the art community, and always have what I'm looking for. They are also consistently the lowest or among the lowest in pricing, not only locally, but online. Ask about their membership card - it costs nothing, and can usually save you money.
