I started out doing group sessions with Barclay but he switched me to private shortly after. with the private sessions he was able to get to the troubled areas better and for longer periods. I have to admit I was getting a little skeptical and thought I might even need surgery at one point. I ended up sticking with the sessions anyways and I sure am glad I did. Barclay is a great physician and person who went above and beyond in helping me recover from my injury. It was meditative, deep, gentle and very challenging, all at the same time. That's a rare combination, which comes from the teacher's decades of personal practice and experience. The studio is new, clean and calm and very lovely. I feel fortunate to have found this special place while visiting Portland for a couple of days. I highly recommend it. And I would definitely make an appointment with Dr. Washington if I ever have a condition requiring a consultation. She has a wonderful manner about her and you can tell from the way she leads her class that she is an empathetic healer.
