When I got there late Tuesday night, I picked up some sandwiches. I didn't want to make dinner when I came home. They were done incorrectly, so I called the manager immediately, who said, "No problem. Bring them back in the morning, and we will refund you." I showed up the next morning and was greeted by Georgia, who asked, "How can I help?" I let her know what happened, and she said, "No problem. Do you want three new sandwiches for free for your trouble?" I said, "No way!" She said, "Way!" I waited patiently for 20 minutes and received three free sandwiches. What great customer service! The atmosphere there was so welcoming. Thank you so much to Georgia and Kerri, my favorite sandwich maker now. I will make sprouts one of my stops during the week. I love the ambience of Sprouts. It's a beautifully laid out store and very easy to navigate and find what you need. I've been shopping at the Silverdale store since the day they opened a few years ago. My only issue with the store is that three times I have gotten meat that had an expiration date out several days but was spoiled the next day when I went to use it. They have always made it right by either returning my money or replacing it with something else. However, living in Kingston and traveling to Silverdale to pick up groceries and getting something that is soured is pretty awful. And a waste of time and money. I have gotten used to the curbside pickup and I love that particular service. I just need to remember to check my bag before I just drive off with the groceries. Just to make sure that the avocados are the right ripeness and the meat looks like it's not going to spoil in the next day or so. I do recommend that people shop at Sprouts. These days nothing is really reasonably priced no matter where shop, but Sprouts prices are okay all things considered. I enjoy this grocery for its huge array of vegetarian options and several preferred brands not available everywhere. I have only one recollection of buying anything that was awful and that was the way overpriced for a chalky nasty tasting Justin's Organic Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups. But that's that one company's fault, and as a rule Sprouts is the perfect store for my eating habits. read more

First visit and it won't be the last. Having been used to easy access to decent organic options before moving to Bremerton, we were having difficulty finding similar places for the first two months. Sprouts, while limited by store square footage, makes up for it by its space being used for organic and other well selected products. We left with some of favorites: organic sourdough bread, Fage Yoghurt, heirloom tomatoes and organic avocados, organic vegetables, Kerrygold butter, and Wilcox eggs. We even picked up some bulk organic walnuts on sale. The personnel at the deli, floor cleaning, and checkout were ALL friendly, helpful, and courteous. I recently purchased the Natural Roasted Boneless Breast holiday meal, which in the description said to allow 2 hours to reheat. When I picked up the order today, the deli assistant told me he had "done me a favor" and gave me the turkey already hot, asking if we were going to eat it today. I asked if there was another turkey like the description, and he said the only others were raw. This meal for my family wasn't supposed to be for hours, yet now I had a hot turkey that while he said he "checked" was "moist," could definitely dry out and not be the quality expected for the product, which we were supposed to be able to cook ourselves. No mention of any discount pricing due to their error, I in good faith ordered and paid for this meal within the required 48 hour timeframe, so I am unsure why I wasn't contacted directly if the order wasn't going to be fulfilled correctly. Instead, I show up within the scheduled pickup and it was by no means ready. I supposed I could have canceled the order then and there, but then the dinner I planned for the family would have to be delayed, which is unsatisfactory. I do understand the deli might have delays, but I think it would have been a better solution for the store to notify me that they could not fulfill the meal as ordered. I cannot recommend the holiday meal service at this time. Also, I replied directly to Sprouts regarding this issue, and their response was "We strive to provide excellent service to our guests every day and always want to make sure that you feel taken care of by our team. We have reached back out to the appropriate levels of management." I guess. This review is to just let others know it's not worth the trouble. Costco, Central Market and even Safeway have more convenient, accurate, and affordable holiday meals locally. read more

This is the second Sprouts Farmers Market I believe in Washington state. The other one is in Mill Creek, north of Seattle. Perhaps more have opened since I last looked but regardless Sprouts is spread fairly thin in Washington state. Where we moved from which was back in Colorado there were more stores along the Front Range and we always liked going to them because you got the features of an organic grocery store but without the higher prices as much. So our visits to Sprouts isn't as frequent as we would like but we are still impressed when we do pay the occasional visit that the produce is still good with great sales. An expanded deli here at this location makes it even more of a worthwhile stop as I pick up a few sandwiches and salads for my lunch breaks at work during the week. There are more full size ready to go meals that you can pick up from the deli and you can freeze them and then bake them for when you want a good meal without giving up a lot of time to cook. These meals look fairly healthy compared to their frozen food department counterparts. No complaints at all as I recently enjoyed my tuna fish sandwich, turkey sandwich and a salad on our last visit along with very fine tasting pastries for dessert. How could I ever pass up the bakery case? Something would be missing in my life if I did. *update on 4/26/2023* Sprouts has four locations in Washington state now. Customer service at the cashier lane tonight 12/10/24 at 6pm is what prompted this negative review! I'm walking up to the cashier lane that has 1 person checking out with cashier and I'm happy because I'm going to be out fast, but what does the tall bald head guy do as he sees me approaching? He sheepishly puts up a sign that says this lane is closed and won't make eye contact with me, no acknowledgment at all, but I know he saw me, so I have to go to 1 of the other 2 lanes open that 3 people ahead of me, but then bald head guy proceeds to take other customers who walk into his lane. Other lanes have multiple customers waiting now, including myself. I asked the cashier who helped me what your name was so I can Thank you Kenneth for the horrible customer service you demonstrated tonight! Please find another job because I will never step foot in this market again and I'll be sure to tell everyone it sucks to shop here especially if you see the tall bald head guy on registers. Oh boy do I love their sandwiches. But if that guy with the beanie, hoodie, and glasses is there. Avoid it. I dread getting there just to see who's making sandwiches. If he's there. I leave. It's the worst customer service I've ever experienced. The dude clearly hates his job or life. Doesn't say hi. Doesn't say anything. No eye contact. Just sounds so monotone like he hates it all. Idk. Sprouts is open! Went on opening day. Great quality organic seafood, meats, veggies, fruits, etc can be purchased here. Good size bulk food section and prepared meals counter. Pricing is very reasonable to us. Staff is working dutifully to avoid any covid issues. Check out belts are wiped after each use. Employees are masked and gloved up, and change both every 30 minutes according to what I heard on a loudspeaker while shopping. Friendly staff, very clean store! Lots of parking. read more

This was our first visit to the store. My wife and I walked around a bit to see what they had. I was overjoyed to find they carried our Alden's Vanilla Bean Round Ice Cream Sammies! Only one other store in the entire county that we know of carries those. So Sprouts immediately won my heart with that one. I did notice they carry A LOT of their own private label stuff in the departments which reduced the selection lots of bottled and boxed goods. I'm very particular about which store brand items I buy, due to me being an inveterate label reader and Google researcher. What we noticed in our walkaround after that was the beautiful produce offered at supermarket prices. For some inane genetic reason I can remember prices of selected items at selected stores. I was amazed to see that Sprouts produce prices were lower than some produce marts. I wasn't as impressed with the cuts of meat on display--which also had fair prices. They had a great selection of cheeses and other goodies. There's also a sandwich/deli/coffee counter that looked inviting but we weren't hungry enough yet. We did decide to buy some things, and our checker was delightful and the place was bright and clean. I think we'll be back. For us it would be destination shopping since the store's two towns away from where we live. But if we're in the area anyway, we'd stop in. read more

This review is all about the customer service and my experience with a particular cashier older caucasian lady , Let me just say I asked my wife (my voice of reason lol) if I was overreacting and she said no she saw the same thing This woman was so rude in her tone and demeanor one of the worst customer services I've ever had, she was much worse than the DMV believe it or not. So I did my shopping got all my stuff quickly and got in a checkout line, finally getting rung up I have my personal shopping bag ready to go and bag the items, so I put my bag on the counter and then she told me in a disgusting tone "get your bag off MY counter you cant do that" I understand I didnt know I was trying to make life easier on everyone lol, I apologized and brushed it off. My wife saw lollipops on the counter so grabbed 2 for our kids and when she had to scan them,she had the audacity to grab them from my wife as if she had a flesh eating disease or was like a dirty diaper, then immediately after spray sanitizer all over her hands/lollipop while having a look of disgust. I've never felt so Ill and pissed in my life. I didn't want to make a scene in front of my kids but it was so insane idk if its bc my wife is asian and shes racist or what is going on in her lil pea sized brain, but she did not hide it well that she didnt like minorities. ohh and btw we all had our masks on while she did not,doesnt get more two faced than that! wow but dont worry I'll update this review and I'll be back with her name and warn yall, no one should have this type of experience. I love Sprouts always have. I used to shop there all the time in Colorado so when I found out one was coming here to Silverdale I was so excited. Unfortunately the employees here have ruined it. They are nothing short of unpleasant. Their is an older lady named Pam on the front end who is so unbelievably rude. How she became a supervisor is beyond me, but I can see why the employees below her hate their lives. I walked into Pam's line as she was checking out another customer had been waiting about a minute or two before she looked up and through the closed sign up and stared at me til I walked away. I couldn't believe it. No kind words came out of her mouth, she just stared me down. I have rarely had a pleasant experience with any staff here except one girl behind the meat counter is pretty friendly. Management must be horrible if they allow their staff to act so disrespectful and careless. read more

This is a great place to pay way too much for stuff you can get at trader Joe's. Also here, you get the bonus of being ignored by their staff, who all seem to be on sedatives. It was sad enough that I put down my groceries halfway done, and just left. With no one else around, the deli clerk tells me I'll be with you in a moment, then proceeds to move more slowly than I thought humanly possible, taking fully 5 minutes to prepare a sandwich for no one, a prepackaged item. Seems like a nice store, just an apathetic, uninformed, and underqualified staff. Sad. Thankfully trader Joe's is right down the street. read more

Today was my first visit to Sprouts. Boo hoo, I am so disappointed...I had such high hopes for something uniquely fresh and vital. Almost all of the produce is imported from Mexico. I'm not saying Mexican produce is bad, but in the day of trying to 'shop local' and 'farm to table' preferences, I did not see many options. Additionally many things looked rather haggard (example, all of plastic wrapped cauliflower had browning florets.) I tried the fresh meat, and seafood department. Sourcing was not identified, and again the product did not look fresh. Tuna steaks and ground meat patties with browning edges indicative of age. I did find some unique choices in the dairy doors, but also some big empty spaces. Plus marks for a good variety of yogurts. My last stop was the deli. Nothing special there but a definite A+ effort for cleanliness--frequent glove changes, masks, and hyper cleaning of the slicing equipment. I had walked the whole store before any employee acknowledged my presence, and the store was well staffed who had plenty of time to carry on conversations with co workers. Overall, I give three stars. One negative star for lack of food freshness, another for lack of staff friendliness. I know this Covid time may not be the most fair time for an evaluation, and will try again later in the year. I am keeping my fingers crossed. read more

I don't think I'll be shopping at Trader Joe's for a long time. Wife and I just found out about sprouts in Silverdale next to total wine. It's like Whole Foods and central market but half the price. The prices are comparable to Trader Joe's and many many things are way cheaper and higher quality. Everything in the store is organic. I have been shopping at Sprouts since it opened because I love grass-fed grass finished meat and organic food. Like Central market, this is more of a specialty place and very expensive. I find the produce to be a decent price though. Pretty good organic produce selection. I always check the meat for discounts while I'm there because grass-fed grass finished is so expensive. I found two packages with a sticker on them and grabbed them. Had already shopped so I went straight up to check out. As she was ringing up my food, she tore the discount sticker off the meat. She looked at me and asked, "What is this?" I said "Meat." The question was confusing because it was obvious what it was. She said the Sprouts label was not underneath the sticker which means somebody put the sticker there and it wasn't on sale. I told her I didn't know anything about that but if it was a problem I don't need the meat. She made a really big deal out of it and I kept saying,"Go back and ask the meat department manager. I don't know anything about it and he will know if it's supposed to be on sale." She made a really big deal out of it, loudly, with people in line and I was so embarrassed. I kept telling her, "Never mind I don't want it." She sold it to me anyway with the discount. By then I just wanted to get out of the store I was so embarrassed. If I'm going to go in there weekly and spend $150 plus, $5 off meat isn't going to make a big difference for me. To me, putting a discount sticker on something that isn't on sale is the same as theft. I simply would NEVER do it. I didn't understand why she wouldn't check with the meat department. White lady, probably close to middle age? That was a couple months ago and I no longer shop there unless I absolutely cannot get what I'm looking for anywhere else. That's only happened once. I won't put out that much money to be humiliated and accused of something I have not done. Also when they first opened I bought some prawns that were on sale in the seafood dept. I figured they needed to get rid of them but I was sure they would be fine. It's only me so I bought about 6 or 8 prawns. Got home and started to cook them for dinner and the first bite literally made me sick. It tasted like bleach/a strong chemical. Never ever in my life have I had any food that tasted like that. It was pretty inexpensive so I didn't take it back but I wrote an email to the Silverdale store. I told them I didn't want anything for it but I wanted to inform them that something was REALLY wrong with the prawns. I got no response. Very disappointing and I would never ever buy seafood there again. Very sad. read more

I love spouts but they need a bigger selection of organic produce and the organic berries are always a disappointment if I can even find them in the first place. I would have given it five stars though if it was not for that. Fix those two things and i would shop there over Whole Foods. read more
