First off, I'm not going to down-play anybody's experience-with, or review-of this company. Your…read moreexperience, is your experience. But, these reviews had me feeling a little leery of dealing with Allied Personnel. The circumstances of how I came to work with them may be a little different, I admit. I was referred to them by a Recruiter and got a job right away. This may or may not be typical. I don't really know. I will say though, meeting Gabriel and Amparo was a very pleasant experience. Gabriel was very friendly and professional. She helped me with all of my paperwork, tests and made sure I had everything I needed to get started with my first assignment. She checked in with me ever so often to make sure I was comfortable because, like any staffing agency, the first day getting registered can take a few hours. Amparo, President of the company, was very engaging and easy to talk to. She gave me a lot of tips to improve my marketability. Her advice was straight-forward, and much needed. I feel so far, that I am in good hands. The assignment they gave me was short, but I feel that they will work hard to find me more work as my availability allows. I think some people go to staffing agencies looking for a miracle worker. You have to be realistic. It's not the agency's fault that you're out of work. And half the time your resume sucks and you don't even know it. You may have the skills, but you're a terrible interview. There could be a number of reasons why you can't find a job and I don't think its fair to lay the blame solely on the doorstep of the staffing agency. And this is coming from someone who hasn't had a lot of luck finding employment himself. My advice, go talk to them at least. See what they can do. They are really nice people. Like I said, other people have had other experiences, this is mine.

When to Allied to upgrade my current position, and they did send me to an interview that match my…read morequalifications, but I didn't get the position that I was well trained and qualified to do. Then a few weeks later a representative named Chris notified me and said there was a great position available and I couldn't pass it up. Well, I was sent to a company that didn't come close in matching my resume, a revolving door of employees, yelling and a very very unprofessional company to work for. I trusted Chris what I thought it was an upgrade in my job situation and was I disappointed. Now I can't get my old job back and now I found myself searching for 3 weeks and counting, and looking back, I never should left my old position without checking on where the Allied representative was sending me. If you do go to Allied, always check where they are going to send you, don't be disappointed like I was!

I was sent to Career Link back in February, 2025 by a local CDL Driving School, to see if would be…read moreeligible for a grant to attend their school. My first call to Career Link, I was put through to voicemail and was assured a call back by a representative. To my surprise, I received a call before the close of that same day, and that's when I had the privilege of meeting Lucy Pearl. I explained to Lucy the reason for my call, my current situation, and how not only I found myself unemployed after a 30 yr career... but also how I wanted and needed to change career, and needed the assistance of Career Link to not only help me transition to a new career that would consist of learning new skills...but also would require money I didn't have to secure enrollment at the CDL school. I knew none of this would be easy or fast since id be forced to navigate the steps involved to get anywhere ... and up to that point my experience with any State or Government offices, seem to get me nowhere but busy signals, voicemails , or sorry, you have the wrong number. Lucy, invited me to meet with her at Allentown Career Link...and when I sat with her... I knew right away, that I was in great hands. Lucy, couldn't have been more welcoming, professional , or empathetic. The meeting was going great, and after an hour... we find out, im at the wrong Career link... im supposed to be at Bucks County Career link , since I live in Bucks, however the School is in Lehigh County... and the School sent me there. Sadly, I said goodbye to Lucy... until later that day. I received a call from Lucy Pearl, and she called to say that she already called Bucks County Career Link, and she spoke to the appropriate person at that office , and that she explained what happened, and asked that they'd follow up with me...and provided me with their name and number . The next morning, I received a call from Bucks County Career link, and after that call, Lucy Pearl called me again to make sure I felt comfortable with the process that was to come, as far as the grant process... and also extended her services to me, should I hit any roadblocks in the process. Bucks County, held my hand with paperwork, orientation, and communicating with CDL School. its been just over a month since I met Lucy , and im happy to report... I start school in one week... and thanks to Career link and Lucy Pearl, I got my grant money, I got my seat in the classroom , and now on my way to a new career and be able to get back on my feet...all thanks to Lucy Pearl Lehigh Career Link, and the team at Bucks Career Link . Lucy kept me hopeful...and most important...allowed me maintain my dignity! I just wanted to take this opportunity to say, thank you Lucy ! Sincerely, T.F.
