Seats are worn down, some have uncomfortable bars or hard spots and I find myself shifting around a lot during movies trying to get comfortable. Many theaters elsewhere have reclining seats, its a shame they have no upgraded. Many theater operators seem to have confused loud with with good. Sometimes when at this theater the speakers are cranked up so high the speakers are distorting and painful. I bring ear plugs now and use them to lower the volume.

Perhaps moving action movies to a different room so it would not interfere with another movie would be helpful. We will never know if management was told or if they even care. Just an apology would have been nice to come out of the staffs mouth. They need better training on how to handle complaints. If they can confirm they have fixed it, I will gladly take the review down. But I wanted to warn everyone. The movie screen had 3 big stains on it, like someone had thrown drinks at the screen and they never cleaned it off. Plus, there were two thin black lines that ran vertically down the screen - and in the middle of those lines, a giant splotch - the biggest of the 3 stains - about 4 feet long and 2 feet wide. And in the left top corner, a frayed black box eating up that part of the screen. I really wanted to walk out and ask for a refund, but the movie had already started and I didn't want to hunt down another theater and another showtime. I also considered that I should let the staff know, but it was so obvious (6 defects in total) that I didn't bother because there is no way I was the first to bring it to their attention. We live in Emerald Isle, this is the only theater on the isle, we are big movie fans and we LIVE to support local business - so this is extremely unfortunate as it's a dealbreaker for a movie theater - a clean screen. The snacks are mid tier and the popcorn is decent . It's not a place to hang out , but if you want to catch a good flick for a decent price away from the crowds it'll get you through . This is your only warning." Didn't even ask if we had a ticket. During our movie he proceeded to walk the aisles frequently, and it felt like he was staring. My family spent over $100 at this theater and we use the regal movie pass. I didn't catch the man-child's name, and you won't catch us back at this theater.
