This wasn't one of the major theater brands but offered a general big budget movie selection. It was an old school experience; the first theater I've been to in a while where the procedure was to actually walk up to a window and buy a ticket from a person, rather than a kiosk. I came in to dodge the rainy weather and they were understaffed, but eventually someone else came up there and got the line moving and I made my movie on time. The seats were okay, but not reclining. Restrooms were on both sides of the building, and apparently I was the only one who figured out that to escape the rush after your movie you can just go to the other side. The shopping center was a bit spread out; there's no garage, so you might have to walk a bit for parking. read more

We wanted to just go see a movie that my wife hadn't seen but I did. The theater is huge, but we got the smallest section and the seats, although somewhat comfortable, were very cramped. I love the seats that recline, but this section was too small for those. Concessions were overpriced here too. read more

Dirty theater. Popcorn isn't made fresh but premade and sitting to be handed out. Seems to be the case with the theaters in the area. Gross.

One of the workers racially profiled me and 2 other African Americans. He chased us down after walking to see our movie and didn't get the Caucasians that also went beside us. I do not recommend and I hope he is soon terminated. He made us feel out of place, and we didn't even stay for the full movie. He also repeatedly got on his walkie-talkie to talk to employees while staring at us. For a description he is a white male about 5'6 and has curly hair. read more

We went there and saw Borderlands. The theater is really nice and new. I loved all the shops around it.

Wish they had recliner seats!! But other than that, it is a very clean movie theatre. The staff are very sweet and accommodating. When I got in line to buy tickets it was long but it moved so quickly. The popcorn tasted fresh. I watched Batman which was a 2.5 hour long movie and the seats felt comfortable. read more

I went to this theatre one time before and enjoyed my time. I haven't had any problems before until now. Recently I went with two of my friends and we were chased down by one of the workers. I guess he thought that we were trying to sneak around into a different movie screening, but that wasn't the case at all. Prior to being racially profiled we already showed him our tickets to prove that we paid for the movie and he showed us the way to go. I am an African American woman and I felt that I was unfairly racially profiled by a 5'6 Caucasian male with curly hair that worked there. This is very upsetting because I really enjoyed coming here to watch movies. I hope that this doesn't happen again to anyone one else and the worker gets terminated for his unjust actions. read more

Was familiar with Stone Theaters from their locations south of Charlotte in Indian Land and Sun Valley. New, very nice facilities with comfortable seats and no need to reserve a seat for an on-line up change. Much more affordable prices and equal or Better offerings and service. Floors were wet from wet, drippy hands seeking the air dryers, several of which were not working. Went to a matinee, my first one in a very long time. The parking was great for the first show of the day, I tried to use my senior discount for the first time and it wasn't any different than the early bird thing so I was surprised it was $8. $8! I guess it's been a really long time since I went to the movies. Very attractive lobby and headed for concessions to get my bottles water that I usually get along with two very small glasses of ice to make it through the movie. Thought about the M&Ms, until I asked how much they cost and they said they were $4.97 before tax. So almost $5.50 for M&M's and not a big bag. So we said no to the Eminence. Went to theater number 4. Which conveniently is located right next to the exit where my car was parked! Definitely a bonus. I was surprised at how quick the movie was, not even an hour and a half including the previews but it was very enjoyable. The theater was nearly empty and the chairs were definitely comfortable and a great time. It was fun to be back in the movie theater! read more

I had to walk to the concession stand three times, and my husband went once, to ask that they turn up the volume and it stayed about the same. We could hear the couple in the front talking and they were using a considerable low voice. I don't think the manager cared for my concern and gave me the "not today" attitude !! I'd rather go to Regal at Mayfaire any day. We've never had a bad experience there! I wont be coming back here again! read more

Monday 2/24/2020 It was a rainy afternoon and instead of continuing to deal with the roads and nutty drivers around town doing errands, we thought we'd catch a movie. One of the BEST ideas we've decided this week!! So we 'high tailed it' out of Costco and journeyed to Barclay to the theaters. The staff was very friendly, helpful and even made me laugh...someone started yawning then everyone in line started yawning! We went to see Baby Boys for Life, and had the theater ALL to ourselves!!! That has never happened to me- ever, so it was cool! The seats were very comfortable; the theater and restrooms were very clean as well. We will be returning soon and perhaps we will see another 'special solo feature'! :) read more

We've come here since they opened and really enjoy this theatre. It's clean and the people are friendly. A big plus is the dining or nibble/drink options for before or after the movie. We enjoy meeting friends or taking the nephews somewhere and heading to the show. The only part that would give them a 5 star is if they had reclining seats. read more

Clean theater. Prices better than Mayfaire. Seats large but don't recline. Worst thing- the volume. Blows you right out of your seat. Super annoying. Bass so loud it shakes your seat and your body. This was theater number 8. Not sure they are all like this, but it almost drove us out. read more

Very rarely do I post a bad review, but yesterday was terrible experience at The Pointe 14 theaters. Horrible customer service at the food court. They were out of the soft pretzels, so we ordered the white castle burgers, were also out of the burgers. I ordered a draft beer, wouldn't you know it, out of draft beer! By this time, we asked to speak to the manger to complain and asked for a small popcorn on the house, as those other 3 items are part of the reason we came to watch and enjoy a movie. Manager basically and very rudely stated " well just because we are out of certain items, does not mean we owe you anything for free". If I were the manager, I would giving away small popcorns to every customer as a way to upkeep a good customer service. Oh by the way, the water fountains are out of order too. read more

Only four stars for the fact that their PDX doesn't seem to run new movies in PDX and 3D. Mayfair 16 has the IMAX and 3D combo often. Otherwise great location, very clean, great employees. read more

Gave me and my boyfriend shit about buying beer when we both provided ID. He was simply purchasing. Their new little signs prove we didnt violate any policies. And the manager is a complete sack of shit who literally shrugged at me. Your employees look miserable too and it's no surprise with your foul ass attitude. If you hate your job so much quit. As with most theatres the snacks are expensive so be prepared but there is a lot of food and drinks to choose from. They don't offer reserved seating but I've seen several movies here and it's never been an issue. This is my go to theatre! read more

stopped going to mayfaire theater after they installed reclining seats that you have to pick out and the prices increased. When meeting friends we rather buy our tickets and meet in the lobby. we then can all sit together. we drive a lot further to get to the pointe but it is worth it, especially on Tuesdays. The Pointe brings the fun back into going to the movies. Perfect place to go on a weekend night if you have nothing to do. They have very comfortable seats and no matter where you sit in the theater the audio is amazing. 10/10 would recommend to anyone going with family or on a date. Nice place very clean, comfortable seating. Eating during a movie is a really good experience the food wasn't overly priced and the serving sizes weren't super small. However the recliner seats made a loud squeaky noise when being laid back. This may have been just the seat me and my boyfriend were sitting at though. I felt as though i was being loud with my seat. The waitress took about 10 minutes to walk up to us. But if you press the button i assume they'd show up faster.
