Very convenient store to get the basics such as eggs, milk, snacks, medicine. Restaurant next door where you can order delicious food to go or eat outside.

If you live or visit Bear Valley you know there is only one store where you can buy your supplies. Luckily, this country market has just about everything you might need, until you can make it into town. Each time I visit the area I stop in, customer service is always great. They talk to the customers like they know them all, they probably do. Very large selection of adult beverages, baking supplies, condiments, sandwich items, produce, fishing gear and one of the coolest things in the store is the milkshake and smoothie machine. You pick your flavor and put it in the machine where it blends it up. My great friends, Patrick and Bette, picked the mango smoothie and offered to share with me. Delicious! I look forward to the next time I visit Bear Valley and try out another flavor.

    Located close to the store.

This little market in Bear Valley Springs carries a multitude of merchandise. If they do not have what you need at Bear Valley Country Market, then you will not find it anywhere in Bear Valley Springs. Considering they have no competition, prices are reasonable. They have this cool machine called Freal. It mixes up different flavors of milkshakes and smoothies. The mango is terrific. Bought me some lotto tickets, but I did not win. Service was friendly, and the store was well organized. If I lived in Bear Valley Springs, I would be a regular.

Old Historic School House. Saw this as we were all sitting outside enjoying ice cream!!

Also we really appreciate that they reuse egg cartons (their own and others) and encourage customers to return empties. As a society we need to be doing more reuse and less generation of trash. They offer volume discount (results in great value over just buying a dozen) and their fresh eggs are not intended to be refrigerated and last. So delicious! In the spring, the chickens must be eating all the bugs and weeds because the spring eggs are LARGE, almost always double yolked, a beautiful shade of golden orange, and CREAMY. I know they feed their chickens well because I am satiated with 2 eggs most days due to the double yolks/large size and just overall great nutritional content. Whereas, I can eat 5 commercial eggs per day and still feel like something's missing. After eating these good quality eggs and royal jelly, my own fertile window and ovulation became easier. Less or no cystic acne during ovulation for me when I eat these good eggs. And when I need easily digestible food, I just eat the yolks raw. They're DELICIOUS! I've been buying their potatoes and onions for several years, and when I stopped being vegan, their eggs were the first ones I ate. And YES, they've been OPEN through the pandemic and are STILL OPEN. They've kept me fed with good quality food throughout the whole thing. Anyhow, I LOOOVE their yellow potatoes. I can tell they're fresh because they're juicy, easy to cut, cook quickly, and don't need as much oil as dehydrated, old, grocery store potatoes. I don't buy my potatoes anywhere else. They're affordable to me as a single person who loves breakfast potatoes about 4x per week. They last a long time if I'm not in the mood for eating potatoes, too. The onions last FOREVER, and are great quality. I typically buy the bag that has more than 1 pound and cook those with the potatoes and for all my other onion needs. Been a customer for close to 6 years, and figured I should finally write this review.

I show up before 10am everytime and it hasn't made a difference if I showed up right before closing to get some Chamoy candies, and a Agua Fresca from Howie or some rib tips or breakfast tacos/burritos from Martin. Both 5/5 Stars Dont get me wrong for Bakersfield this is a 5 but we've gotta have more variety Final rating 2/5 Stars until they bring in some produce, and not puppies..

I ended up purchasing a bottle of honey from The Honey Comb and Almond & Peanut nut butter combo from PB Jack's Nutbutter. I also bought two large pink grapefruits for $5. I wasn't going to buy anything else but an Iced Matcha Latte from Jittery Geeks was calling my name. It had a great match flavor and sweetened a bit by vanilla syrup. Will definitely try to come before noon next time to score on my wants.
